No robot mower is perfect but the Yarbo is the most powerful and fully featured yard robot hands down. Only 2 mowers on the market can mulch leaves and small sticks. Only Yarbo serves as a near fully... See more

I love this machine
I love this machine. It is my first robot lawn mower so not much to compare to but it has been working great all summer. In the beginning I didn’t have a great place to mount my antenna and I was hesitant over where and how to place my docking station. I definitely over shot on the docking station install, but put my antenna inside my garage. I had to modify the mount to make it work inside my space and wound up gashing my hand and needing a few stitched (not recommended). After running the antenna inside my garage I noticed I had frequent drops where yarbo would just sit in the yard for 10-20 minutes waiting on signal again. I had a custom mount built to mount the antenna to the top of my house (the included mounting pole is a bit flimsy and shaky for my liking). After installing the mount high on my house I haven’t noticed any further signal drops. Yarbo does have a few issues on steep slopes, especially in the morning dew when grass is wet, but it does a great job after you get your map dialed and figure out the trouble spots in your yard. How reliably it can mow without getting stuck or tearing up your yard depends entirely on your attention to the mapping process. I am anxious to see how well it maintains my 325ft driveway in the snow!
3 Yarbo cores and still on my zero turn.
I’m on my third unit and still having to mow my yard while the Yarbo sits idle on the charger. Support is slow and inaccurate. They frequently check my unit remotely and tell me it’s working fine, when I opened a ticket because it’s not working! They replaced the first unit with a refurbished unit that never worked at all. The third unit won’t hold a GPS signal so I can’t create a map - so it’s not cutting any grass. Six months, $6k, 3 core units, 2 mower units and I still have to cut my own grass.
Not Perfect and Getting Better
Not Perfect and Getting Better. Yarbo is a 3 year old company now. A lot of other reviews you'll read will knock them for not being perfect but I think that's fine. In the year I've owned one, I've consistent and significant improvement so it's only a matter of time. This mowing season I have yet to pull out my old mower and what more do you need to know than that. I wouldn't return to go back to manually mowing and I'm excited to see the improvements to snow blowing this season over last.
Terrible support
The setup was a challenge but we got it done. It worked great for 3 weeks and then just stopped cutting grass. The blades wouldn't start turning when told to cut an area. I could manually start the blades with the app. This showed it wasn't a mechanical issue. Support is terrible. You call or open a ticket and receive an email saying we're looking into it. No one that answers the phone has a clue how to help. One rep told me the R&D team (tech support) was in China and they would look at it the next day. 7 days go by and no results. Thank goodness I purchased through Amazon because Yarbo didn't want to honor their 30 day money back guarantee. All I got from them is please give us more time. Great product when it worked, terrible support for a $4,500 product.

Horrible tech-support, horrible customer service garbage machine do not buy
After trying to cancel before it even shipped Yarbo chose to “open a ticket” instead of canceling and rush shipped it to my house. Not only was the unit previously opened but there was a disaster of a time setting up. This all coming after trying to cancel and they still wouldn’t cancel and have unit picked up. Now. Two months later an almost 7000$ layer. The damn thing always breaks. Tech support opens a ticket and nothing ever happens. I’ve spent at least 12 hours in two months working on it. I could have bought a riding lawn mower and spend that time mowing my yard myself. On top of all this with the unit not working customer service crap technical support is crap. They always have excuse. Excuses still don’t have a refund or return going. They still haven’t shipped the accessories. I purchased with my original order that I was supposed to have in August. This company is full of crap they lie, cheat and steal, and make excuses why they can’t follow through with their obligations. If you bought or are planning on buying a autonomous mower, do it from a different company this company is shit.

Pretty sure this got released to the public before it was ready. I’ve had nothing but problems and it’s been extremely time-consuming. I actually bought this thinking it would save me time on yardwork. I’ve spent more time with tech-support than I would have mowing. They are currently replacing the mower deck because it’s broken but if you don’t save the original boxes, they charge you for a box to ship it back in. I’ve tried to return it several times and they talk you into a meeting with tech-support which fixes the issue until the next time you try to use it and then it’s broken again

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Horrible Experience
⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Horrible Experience – Do Not Trust Yarbo
I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience with Yarbo. What was supposed to be an investment in a premium snow-removal device turned into an expensive, time-wasting nightmare that dragged on for over 8 months.
🚫 Product Never Worked
From the moment we received the Yarbo unit, it was defective. The emergency stop button was broken out of the box, and despite following all setup and firmware update instructions, the device never functioned during the entire winter. Yarbo initially claimed they would replace the faulty unit—instead, they mailed us a part and expected us to perform our own repairs on a brand-new product.
📉 Terrible Support and Endless Delays
Despite dozens of emails, voicemails, and escalations, Yarbo's support team was inconsistent, slow, and evasive. They constantly asked for information we had already provided and dragged out the process for months, while we spent nearly $900 on snow removal services the Yarbo was supposed to handle.
💰 Refund Scandal – Surprise Deduction of $515
After finally agreeing to a return, Yarbo confirmed in writing they would send return boxes at no charge. But after I sent the unit back, they quietly deducted $515 from my refund for those very same boxes—a charge they never disclosed in advance. When I pushed back, they refused to reverse the charge, hiding behind vague policy language after the fact.
🤯 Zero Accountability
The worst part? Despite acknowledging their failure and admitting the device was defective, Yarbo:
Refused a full refund.
Gaslit me with generic apologies.
Closed my support ticket without resolution.
This company has no regard for customer trust, no quality control, and no intention of standing behind its promises.
🚨 Bottom Line: Avoid at All Costs
Overpriced product that never worked.
Deceptive support and refund practices.
$515 stolen from my refund after their product failed.
Months of wasted time and stress.
Save yourself the money and headache. I will never recommend Yarbo to anyone and plan to share my experience as widely as possible.

The whole process has been horrible from the time I purchased it to trying to cancel. I paid thousands of dollars and customer service is horrible. If you do decide to buy this, Yarbo buy it from Amazon. It’s cheaper and you get more product for your price. I’ve called Yarbo multiple times and they keep on making excuses. Why not to cancel the order they will not let me speak with a manager and say they’ve escalated it multiple times and I never hear anything back. I’m now out thousands of dollars and don’t even have a product.

The worst company and tech product I have dealt with in a long time
I had a Yarbo which worked for 2-3 weeks out of the 4 months I had it, with it breaking in multiple different ways. I now have a ruined garden. The company itself treats you punitively if you are angry at their poor performance. The Yarbo itself crashes into cars, no-go areas and most of the sensors (ultrasound, rear cameras) don't even work for obstacle avoidance. The customer service is poor and slow. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and don't buy into their rubbish robot. The one that has replaced it from another manufacturer is wonderful in comparison, this is just a bad joke at your expense.

Not Worth the Hype
Not Worth the Hype – Disappointing Experience with the Yarbo Lawnmower
After waiting nine months from the time I ordered, the Yarbo finally arrived—over the course of several weeks. Unfortunately, the long wait did not result in a great product.
Setup was tedious and overly complex—I’m not sure I could have done it alone. Once operational, it became clear this is a tool, not a solution. You’ll still need to edge, weed whack, blow, and manually mow areas Yarbo can’t reach. It’s not replacing your yard work—just adding another layer.
Major cons:
• It leaves sections of the lawn uncut, even in the middle.
• It’s too sensitive, stopping for even small twigs.
• You must manually drive it to the mowing area each time.
• Despite countless attempts at mapping, it still refuses to cut near edges—which defeats a large part of its purpose.
In short, I would not recommend the Yarbo. While it’s somewhat helpful, so is a second riding mower—and that would likely do a better job. This feels more like a gimmick than a game-changer. Save yourself the frustration and skip this purchase.

We learn from each other, and I'm happy with it
It has both, greats and space for improvements. In my opinion 80% to 20%.
I have it since November 2024, and I have s blast with it. It was able to clean the snow and now it is mowing completely autonomous.
Some may expect this to be plug'n'play. Due to its complexity it requires proper set up. After it is the educating time, where I instruct the device how to operate in my areas along with self learning how this works. We both learned together from each other.
In practice it took 3 to 4 snowblowing task runs until we found the perfect settings, after it was able to run autonomously to find the driveway and sidewalks clean after a long day of work and continuous snow. Same with mowing, I learned from it and get it to the proffered setting. I can get him working anytime and remotely. Completes the task and get back to charging. No issues.
I'm happy with it.
Some good some bad
Some good some bad. 2023 version didn't work well. 2024 version is much improved. Still working through issues, but it is 100% mowing my 1 acre lawn and snow blowing my 500' driveway.

I bought my unit last December and I have used it for show removal, and now I am using it to mow my yard. I have had no trouble with the core unit, nor the attachments. It does as advertised. There are some features that I really like and some that do not work well. I am trusting that those things that do not work well will be addressed in future updates. I would purchase Yarbo devices again.
Absolute trash fire
Absolute trash fire. Product has never worked. Got it in 2023 from Kickstarter. The yarbo people came here for 6 hours trying to get it to work a year ago and couldn't. Now they offer tech support but only available 1 am to 4 am. Ridiculous. Highly recommend to stay away from this company. It's a money grab piece of trash.

Lack of customer service.
My yarbo broke down and they have no solution for 2 weeks+ I suggest not buying it. I sent 15 emails and 5 calls.

Yarbo Snow Blower Review & Refund Request
Since receiving the Yarbo snow blower/blade unit, I’ve rarely been able to complete a full cycle of the work program. The unit performs decently at first, but after the initial run, it needs a recharge that takes over 3.5 hours. Recently, it hasn’t even been able to reach a full 100% charge. I submitted a ticket for this issue, but it’s still unresolved. The support team claims they can’t connect to the unit on their end because it appears offline, yet it shows as online when I check remotely. I’ve power-cycled both the unit and the data center multiple times, but the issue persists.
The charging issues continue with the battery levels fluctuating unpredictably—sometimes displaying 100% after days of charging, while at other times dropping as low as 86%. This inconsistency means that by the time the unit is ready to operate again, conditions have often changed. Either the temperature rises, making the snow too soft and causing the chute to clog, or more snow accumulates than the unit can handle, leaving it stuck and ineffective.
When using the blade, it works fine for short runs, but on longer 200' runs, anything over 2–3 inches of snow causes it to get stuck. In the past, this would result in the unit losing connection entirely, forcing me to send it back to the charging station, disconnect the battery, and restart the whole process. While that issue has somewhat improved, it was a major frustration early on.
Overall, the unit is simply not up to the task for a larger snow removal area, especially with the long charge times and constant charging inconsistencies. The studded tracks, which offer slightly better traction, have caused significant damage to my driveway’s asphalt and concrete when the unit gets stuck and the tracks spin. I originally tried the standard tracks, but they couldn’t even handle a small amount of snow, leading me to switch to the studded ones. Even then, I find myself shoveling snow in areas where the unit gets overwhelmed. This defeats the purpose of an automated snow removal system altogether.
In my call with Yarbo engineers, they agreed that my snow removal area was too large for the unit, and their only solution was to suggest I purchase another unit to cover the area. They also made it clear that a refund would not be issued because I was outside the 30-day return window. Unfortunately, during those first 30 days, I had very little snow, and constant connection issues prevented me from fully testing the unit in time to identify these problems.
If you have a small area with the right conditions, the Yarbo snow blower might work for you, but otherwise, I wouldn’t waste your time or money on this unit. It simply isn’t reliable or efficient enough for larger spaces, and the issues I've encountered make it clear that this product is not ready for serious use.

The ultimate sceptic (positive review)
I saw the S1 being advertised and thought, WOW now that's something I could use. But I am a very skeptical person, and when I saw the name change and then the launch of the crowdfunding I had doubts. I did my research and after some time, I decided to order my Yarbo. I was like everyone else and became very impatient and wondered if I was ever going to get my Yarbo. With the shipping updates and constant communication My mind was put at ease. I received my order and the fun began! If you read the manuals the assembly and operation is easy. The background monitoring and support is second to none!! The Facebook Group input is great and very helpful. The quality and performance exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to get the lawn mower attachment and blower into action!!
Growing with Yarbo.
As a partially disabled person with acres of hilly tree laden land that I love in a rural area this was a life saver. My wife has been bugging me to sell and move to a smaller place in the city without the land to make it easier. I have neck, back, and nerve damage and mowing for an hour would leave me in a state of pain that lasted the rest of the day. I saw the Yarbo and though how many people like me end up selling their homes due to being unable to maintain it.
So I signed up to become a dealer. And although it took a long time to get the initial unit and they are still growing their dealer support the tank has proven to be invaluable to me and hopefully to many like me in my area.
Is it easy to setup? No you do need to install some antenna correctly, and you need to setup the unit correctly for your yard and the job you want it to do.
Does it work? Yes once you understand how it functions and setup it works with very few issues.
Is it set and forget? No not really I had it get stuck on a rock the other day while I was away, but I was able to move it remotely to bypass the obsticle and then it completed the remaining yard without issue.
Great Machine!!
I purchased Yarbo mainly to cut down on mowing. I have six acres and it is very time consuming. The deciding factor for purchase was what all Yarbo can do. It isn't just a mower. It's a mower, blower, snow blower and it can tow up to 3400 pounds. It has a follow me feature that will tow a trailer and follow you as you pick up sticks and put in the trailer. This is a game changer. No other robot mower can do what Yarbo can do.
Yarbo is doing a great job at listening to their customers and meeting their needs. Like any technology it will always be a work in progress. Always updated and making better.
Great Job Yarbo!! I'm very impressed with my Yarbo.
