Preference is obviously given to certain sellers, or perhaps 'chommies', where they'll allow them to sell prohibited items, but they'll remove yours if you do. Hmm.

Three times now I have sold an item on Yaga and received a message to follow a dodgy unsecured link to receive the funds due to a technical error. What should happen is the money should go into your Yaga wallet once the buyer receives the item. Twice I’ve had a notification that buyers have been removed for safety reasons. I’m not sure I trust this platform at all
Scammed with h R8581,47
Have just been scammed with R8581,47. Person said she wants to use ARAMEX and I must scan QR CODE to get payment for item.
Peer-2-peer commerce just levelled UP!
Great platform! Extremely useful for decluttering and creating an additional form of income.
Super glad I signed up and I'm happy that their new fee system ensures I am protected as a Buyer.
Safe and convenient
Yaga has given me a way of generating extra income from just sitting home. I think it's fantastic how I can give the clothes that no longer give me happiness new homes. Also got some new outfits myself for my Euro trip :)
Awful, just awful
Awful! Yaga does not stick to their terms. If a buyer doesn't complete the sale yaga falls over backwards to give them more time (almost five days now, and still no completed sale) and the seller loses money. Yaga still holding funds due to me. Does this constitute fraud/theft/scam? Only saving grace is Cole in their consumer help dept, but if you don't get him then you are out of luck solving your issue.

I've purchased a few times on Yaga & I'm satisfied each time : I've chatted with the sellers and they're really friendly. At 1time the seller didn't send the watch I had bought and the support team did an incredible job & I was refunded. (the seller only got back to me 3weeks later)
Buyers protection fee - a way to make money off of sellers
Yaga used to be an easy way to sell second hand items... but their new updates make this alot more difficult.
The buyers protection fee which they have implemented is 5% of whatever you are charging for an item plus an extra amount... this makes items you are wanting to sell alot more expensive for buyers and sales have gone down drastically.
Not to mention, this protection fee doesn't seem necessary, as Yaga holds the buyers money in their system until they receive their items... so being scammed is difficult.
Seems like a way to make money off of people more than anything else.

I used yaga a lot but now they charging us the ‘protection fee’of its too much,am not comfortable with this.

Best thing I have done is to buy from yaga and discovered finding treasures by Annek honest seller and good deal. Yaga support team give you quick feedback this is the app to have of you like good deals
There is potential with Yaga
The platform is simple and easy to navigate but a bit clumsy to administer. It works reasonably well and seems to protect everyone involved but you have to remain vigilant.
If the add claims its leather, ask for a pic of the label or leather marking. Make sure about sizing etc. Not all traders are equally yoked with experience on international size conversions.
Make sure you have three weeks worth of cashflow to cover courier charges while you wait for your money from Yaga, this has been a painful 12 day marathon just to get rolling but then it burst into action.
If you can get through the teething issues with cashflow in the first month this could be a useful platform for you.
100% support from Yaga
100% support from Yaga - always assist and helpful as long as you don't click item received and that you are happy with it ... Yaga will be there for you!! love this amazing platform!
I purchased a bag a pair of boots
I purchased a bag a pair of boots. Different sellers. Took very with delivery and the items were both disgusting. I threw both onto the rubbish bin.
So easy and convenient website to use
So easy and convenient website to use. I got paid 3 times selling my goods so far so good. Thank you Yaga!!!
Blatant dishonesty by seller who gets away with it
Be extremely careful when buying from yaga. Their policies are not fair so make sure you read terms and conditions!! Also ask questions before buying items as there are many dishonest sellers who conveniently neglect to mention flaws/ defects. One seller sold me a bag as genuine leather, when I received it it was polyurethane! I immediately contacted Yaga and mentioned this blatant dishonesty from the seller. They emailed back and said that once you've paid you have no recourse. So the dishonest seller got away with it!! Be super careful!! You've been warned!
Safest platform there is!
Such an easy, convenient, and safe platform for both, shopping and selling. Yaga has made the whole process seamless, the staff is friendly and helpful and the site is truly addictive in the best way possible :)
Yaga only cares about buyers sellers…
Yaga only cares about buyers sellers just loose money
When a buyer doesn't collect the seller looses money and yaga thinks that fair
Yaga is the future
I love this website, it's incredibly simple and easy to use plus I've never felt safer while shopping or selling online. They make sure that the seller doesn't get the money before the buyer has had a chance to see the item sold. The customer services team replies very quickly and they are always helpful, I was recently assisted by Annabel who was professional throughout and explained everything to me clearly. I could not be happier.
