XTB Online Investing 

Had a great conversation with Alex, I’m now fully aware of all investments options available to me with XTB, I’m really excited to start my trading journey with them, the customer support I’ve received from them is the best I’ve experienced so far, definitely recommend!!!!

Recently opened XTB for an investment app, super easy platform and user friendly interface. Added bonus they offer 4.25% interest on uninvested cash too

Can’t recommend XTB highly enough.

XTB- Opinion

Unfortunately, this online broker deserves a better fate. A huge disappointment. One of the worst and most disadvantageous brokers I have ever used. I have been using XTB for several years, along with other brokers. I have lost a lot of money because of the way XTB works, they are practically professionals in how to financially rip off traders as much as possible. Obviously, I am responsible for part of the loss myself and the completely unrealistic capital market mechanisms that have been operating in the past few years.

It could be a good broker, but it is not.
Just a few important comments about the mistakes, which are facts:
- crappy international customer service;
- after several years of use and experience, I have reported the mistakes many times, made comments and suggestions, to no avail;
- the platform in Europe is unstable, for a long time there were frequent freezes and glitches, which still occur today (especially when there is some significant data supply and it loads the servers;
- undersized servers;
- regular exits, restarts even on the most powerful computers and 5G broadband internet;
- high minimum investment amounts in each instrument (this year they finally improved it somewhat, but not by much). In the case of other brokers, the minimum amounts for which we can buy a part of an instrument are lower;
- faulty, bad, disadvantageous hedge management (in the case of a negative balance or even a positive, but not sufficiently high balance, it often does not allow the counterparty to buy, which often results in extraordinary losses;
- this is one of the most important negative operational solutions, that they give 1 year expiration time to instruments that are not actually real futures, but spot (spotted) instruments. It is not the trader who decides when to close an instrument. This expiration is most often can occur at a very unfavorable time. Traditional futures products should be clearly marked! We see the expiration there and expect it.
- Unmodern web application and platform, few analysis tools, cumbersome operation;
- Difficult portfolio management, closing, it is easy to miss the quick closing of the position;
- Not modern and intuitive chart indicator enough;
- Many tools and instruments are not available;
- Closed news, which are tied to registrations, are often not available in the given language afterwards (this is promised during registration);
- Narrower trading hours for many indices and stocks, so there is no pre- and postmarket access.

These are just the most important. Obviously there are advantages and things that work well, but pretty much every competing broker knows them.

I'm sorry, because it could really be a very good platform and broker if it weren't only driven by profit.

I don't recommend it to beginners.

Signed up but didn't deposit anything, thenyesterday I received a call from a mobile number asking, I cut the call quickly as im on holiday, anyway I tried depositing 3 times, my banking app asked me to confirm, I did 3 times, the xtb said it hadn't been successful. Ive now decided to read trustpilot, and will now uninstall the app.

Scammers. I signed up, they gave me a £70 Uber share promo, I sold it and withdrew and then they charged back.
The agreement terms I have from them in the PDF state I can do whatever I want with the share but they changed the terms afterwards and scammed me afterwards, even though I signed up before the terms changed.

Clear violation of FCA and advertising standards agency. I will be Taking them to the Financial Ombudsman.

STAY AWAY FROM XTB. TRADING212 Is miles ahead.

This company is a total scam. Do not trust them. They will take your money and won’t let you withdraw it. They’re the most unreliable stock company out there .
I signed up to take advantage of their free uber stock offer but after stealing my deposit money and my personal data now they refuse to pay out the uber stock.
Do not trust them.

Very poor. I signed up for the free Uber share promotion but immediately they requested ID documents, I sent several across which took several days to accept, by this time they’d ended the promotion and haven’t paid me out. I mentioned the promo to several friends who weren’t asked for ID documents, they managed to get the free share despite signing up days after me. This is extremely poor as it wasn’t my choice to delay the opening of my account. It should have been done on the basis of when people signed up not when random checks were carried out (the customer has no control over this). Not a platform I’ll be using going forward for this lack of transparency.

The instances of criminal wrongdoing on behalf of XTB are becoming more and more frequent and are making it be more and more alike to a scam organization. The most recent event regards the Wolfspeed stock, where they have voided the gains of thousands of users citing an 'error' which even if it was, was the official data provided by XTB (and other platforms that didn't void the profit of their users) which points to the simple fact that XTB doesn't like when you make a profit, but only when you loose since after all, despite the red numbers on the screens, your hard earned money stays with them, they just owe you less. Also, have in mind that you will incur huge losses when withdrawing your funds, which will make even your profitable trades becoming loss making ones. This is the fourth instance of blatant violation of both trading rules, ethical codes and them committing a blatant financial crime. I have decided to close my eyes on the first three instances since i didn't have the time to move to another platform but this time, too much is too much. I would like to hear from your experiences and if there are people interested to join in a class action lawsuit against them. Please feel free to share your experience.

ID process is a nightmare! Address id can not be in joint names (council tax the exception) Lets hope you don't live with someone as this may be a struggle. Uploaded council tax bill to be told only acceptable if within 3 month. Its issued once a year and your system states valid as long as date from April 2025 which it was. Customer service is useless and really don't help at all. I work in finance and a council tax bill is valid for a year with all major banks in terms of ID. They refused to check this just kept saying I was wrong. I then uploaded my passport which they claimed I didn't. I have now emailed it in as the online app was not being updated. Absolute nightmare so far!

Opened a trading account with them, deposited funds and went to verify and added my bank details with my drivers licence and they kept rejecting it due to being blurred, it was the holograms on the drivers licence 🤣🤣🤣 eventually they accepted the same photo and I closed the account immediately. Tried to call alex butler (my account manager) and surprise surprise he's busy and can't be bothered. Avoid this company at all costs

XTB LATAM - easy set up and love the simple clean UI with pie style functionality similar to 212 and IE. But frustratingly cannot add funds. WEEKS of gong back and forth with them.

They say they accept visa and master but after trying 6 different cards none of them work (XTB are declining all of them).
No ACH option. Swift is not an economical form of investing on a regular basis.

They need to fix the card payment issue and open up ACH payments for USD.
If you can't even fund the account what trust do you have in trying to withdraw?
Hopefully in the forseable future they'll improve their deposit functionality and options.

Update: downgrading this to 1. They recommended a specific prepaid card I could use to deposit. That worked with 5 USD.
So wanted to test a withdrawal. Failed. Then was informed I could only withdraw with Visa (Tried this with Banco Itau - failed!!).

They offer Skrill and Neteller withdrawals. Do you know how much commission these charge?? So got some funds stuck now basically or make an international transfer that will cost an arm and leg, more than I have funded.

Their platform does not have a field for a second surname SO they do not understand some people have middle names and also use their SECOND Surname on bank details!!

Even wrote to the account manager and he has not taken action to escalate it.

The issue is not with my name it is with their verification process and inability to diferentiate between middles names and second surnames.

Most likely will just close the account and continue with the professional team at Interactive Brokers.

This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a financial company. Their very persistent salesman called me several times to convince me to deposit money with them, so I did – a total of £100,099. The last £30,000 of that deposit has now been missing for 12 days. They won’t credit it to my XTB account, and they won’t return it to the bank it came from. I’ve called, texted, and emailed multiple times, but all I get are vague responses like “we will reply when we have an update” – without any specifics. After nearly two weeks, this is completely unacceptable. Avoid this company. Do not deposit any money with them.

It was quick and easy to open my account. The app has everything I need.

i have a problem with my account so when i want to enter the apps tell me there's a problem and need to change my password, here problem start cause when i start to change it, is give an error sending SMS T try MANY times with support but there's no answer

It was a really great experience talking with the people of xtb from Spain, specially with Alejandro. I feel so important the approaching with the customer and xtb did it.

I opened a new trading account, sent my first deposit and next day without doing any trading they noticed me that closing my account.
After that my account is under review and they don't send my original deposit back. Unbelievable.... never saw this behavior before.

xtb is the best trading broker. I have used  most of the trading brokers in the past but it can't be compared with xtb. honest, reliable, helpful broker, any issues they have a phone number to call, calls will be answered in less than 3 minutes. reliable service without any issues. Everything I like about XTB but the most important --- honesty. i will strongly recommend xtb to everyone!!!!

I won second prize in one of their trading competitions. I waited several months for my prize but I never received it. Complained to my account manager, which I admit I should have done sooner, but his rude response is what really disappointed me. My complaint was rudely dismissed and no attempt was made to look into the matter before dismissing it. So I never got my £500 prize.

Because of this I no longer use XTB for trading as I don't trust them. I use other companies that don't treat me this way.

After I complained to the company about this bad treatment I did get a decent response because not all their staff are as rude and dismissive as my account manager, but i found out that the £500 prize is not really worth anywhere near as much as that. I could have got the main part of the prize for free anyway without winning any competition. So it's yet another disappointment. One of many with this company.

One of the sponsors of the competition, a company called Two Blokes Trading, also promised to send me an additional prize which they failed to deliver. XTB weren't interested in that aspect of my complaint, but they picked the sponsor (rather poorly as it turned out), so they share some responsibility for that too.
