Adrian is a great instructor. Makes driving really easy to pick up and is a fantastic person to speak with as well. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to pass and have fun with it as well!

Ade is an excellent teacher. He instills confidence, creates an atmosphere where mistakes are okay and is just a really nice guy. A very holistic approach to driving lessons. And I always had a laugh. And I passed first time!

Great lessons with Richard Lumby. For 5 months Richard has been a joy and helpful instructor for the months he has been with me and always pushing me to improve my driving with insightful knowledge and would highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn to highly consider Richard.

I can’t recommend Ade highly enough as a driving instructor. He is not only an excellent teacher but also one of the kindest and most patient people you could ever hope to learn with. From the very first lesson, he made me feel comfortable and confident, always explaining things clearly and encouraging me every step of the way. Thanks to his guidance, I not only passed my test first time but also feel prepared to drive safely and confidently on my own.

I had an amazing instructor Dave kay , he's very kind and skilled and made driving easy and enjoyable to me and was able to pass confidentiality first time in a short amount of time, had an amazing time and would recommend to anyone and my younger brother will be taking him to learn to drive too

I had the pleasure of having Richard as my driving instructor for the past 3 months in York. Throughout the experience, he was incredibly supportive, teaching me the fundamentals of driving from scratch. More importantly, he continually built my confidence behind the steering wheel so that when test day arrived, I felt more than prepared, and I managed to pass on my 1st attempt just recently. Richard was always a calming presence in the car, and his communication was very clear, pointing out both my strong points and things to improve on at the end of every lesson. Richard also structured the teaching in such a way, that I felt every single lesson was a bit more challenging than the previous one. This made the lessons both challenging in their own right, but also enjoyable and something to look forward to in the week, as well as allowing me as a student to see constant improvement in my driving. I’m very happy with Richard’s guidance and I couldn’t recommend him enough to any learners, irrespective of their level or stage of learning in driving. Richard will both improve your driving skills and confidence behind the wheel without a doubt.

I had the best experience learning to drive with Adrian, he was very patient and comforting with great humour, he always made me feel very confident and able with my driving and corrected my mistakes in a way that didn’t knock my confidence and made me have better understanding. He helped me so much with booking my tests and found cancellations in his own time so overall a great person and teacher

I booked lessons with Ade after a tricky experience with a past driving instructor. Ade built my confidence back up and helped make driving an enjoyable experience (something I didn’t think would happen)! Delighted to have passed first time as well! Very easy to get along with and makes the driving experience a lot better as it isn’t awkward. Also is very good if you are nervous and helps a lot.

I feel incredibly lucky to have had Richard as my driving instructor! He is patient, supportive, and works with you to tailor his teaching to suit your individual learning style. His calm presence, clear communication, and constructive feedback helped me overcome my initial nerves and develop into a confident driver. I learnt so much during our lessons that even after moving away from York, I decided to travel back weekly just to continue learning with him! I've just passed my driving test on the 1st attempt, and I know I couldn't have done it without his guidance and encouragement. I truly enjoyed learning to drive with Richard, and I now look forward to driving independently with confidence. Couldn't recommend enough!!

I’ve just passed with Richard and couldn’t recommend him enough as an amazing instructor! He’s been incredibly patient and kind while I’ve been learning and he really makes an effort to adapt his teaching methods to find what works for you. Highly recommend if you have any driving nerves and want a calming presence with clear instruction!!

My experience was amazing, I learnt so much with no pressure put on me whatsoever, I am now driving on my own and passed my test thanks to Xpert driver training, and last of all thanks so much Ade he is an amazing driving instructor and is so nice and fun to be around and dosent put pressure on you at all, I definitely recommend him he’s the best

I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Richard. From the start his communication was excellent and he was always extremely helpful whenever I made mistakes, giving encouraging constructive feedback and useful tips on how to improve. I genuinely enjoyed my lessons and felt very confident going into my test with Richard’s support and guidance, and I’d definitely recommend to anyone learning to drive.

Just passed my test first time and had Dave Kay as my instructor. He was great. Came out his way for my lessons and was really helpful in giving me time to understand things on the road. Can’t recommend him enough.

I’ve been learning with Rich since last summer and it’s been an amazing experience. Rich is patient, kind and funny. He’s also very knowledgeable and insightful about driving, and he’s particularly good at working with folks with some anxiety or trepidation about driving- he really puts you at ease and helps to build up your confidence. Would 10/10 recommend. Thanks again for all your help!
