Stole $520 from my account

Stole $520 from my account. I called and cancelled my services in May of last year. The guy on the phone said I was good to go and my internet service was cancelled. They kept billing me over $500 dollars over the next 5 months until I realized what was happening and called them out. They said they kept billing me because my cancellation request was canceled the day after I put it in and refuse to refund me. This organization stole $520 from my account and 5 frustrating calls later they say it’s my fault but can’t tell me how the request was cancelled. There was zero WiFi activity BECAUSE I THOUGHT I CANCELLED IT. Please use anyone else. Crooked organization. Please don’t use these guys

Unfortunately we can't leave zero stars. Worst internet service we have ever had. Dialup would be better and more reliable. Customer service was actually great during the cancellation process but Operations didn't care and would always put blame back on the customer. Will never use them again and will warn anyone to steer clear.

** A LOSER COMPANY WITH LIARS EMPLOYEES **

I spoke to customer service and her name was geluy or geloy something like that.. she's a woman.. Even I'm not sure of it's real name or nickname..
I called Xfinity company because I bought a device online and it's locked with this loser company. i tried to buy sim card to activate the phone but they told me no service in my area. this is approved that this company is bad.. the call took more than 30 minutes and she said she will unlock my device and i can use it with any carrier. but she was lying to me.she just wanted me to give her good feedback.. unfortunately i gave her good feedback after when she promised me that my device will unlock after 24 hours.. but it didn't.. so that why I'm righting my experience and what happened with this loser company and liars agent.
don't use this company because they hired liars employees.

crooks and criminals

crooks and criminals
turns out they have been dramatically overcharging me each month. I have had them for 2 years. Went from $64.80 to >$124 a month after 2 years. Got a text from a friend, they only pay $45 a month for the same services. Horrible price gauging.

Cpmcast/XFinity as a e Saturday Night Live Sketch

We made the mistake of having Comcast/XFinity service at three property locations. We are closing out one of the properties as we are selling it. Trying to resolve this one termination by a telephone call would qualify as a Saturday Night Live skit. REALLY. We already are bilked by the high fees charged by Comcast and then, flush with our cash, they use primarily AI agents or call centers overseas where English is questionable. No wonder our adult children are baffled to why we ever bother with Cable service.

I would not even give Comcast a 1 as…

I would not even give Comcast a 1 as they are horrible, I called into customer service and got a representive as I needed to ask some questions and pay my bill, he sent me the link and I paid it. A day later my service was cut off so I called in again to fi d out that he had stole my payment and then went in and tried to make the payment back with several random credit cards that were denied, he then added stuff to my bill that I did not authorize and made an email address up with my information and added it to the bill and made himself an authorize user on my bill and started adding phone service and cable service for who knows who. Once I figured it all out with no help from Comcast customer service I went to the store and the lady there told me everything he did. After going around and around with them they credit it back and sent me a bill with 0.00 however they sent a different bill to collections saying I owe 1200.00 in which I am now fighting that.

Shit internet, customer service, and very very unreliable internet and employees

Xfiniti your service sucks. I call you guys to try and fix all of the issues we are having with our internet and I’m always on the phone for hours and hours and nothing gets resolved. Your customer service is shit and your workers aren’t helpful. All of the ADs all over the world promoting your guys product and savings is all just a huge lie. Quit scamming people with your shit products and actually have some good quality and customer service. Been struggling with you guys for years and I’m done with shit you’ve lost my business.

I have spent months trying to resolve…

I have spent months trying to resolve an issue with my Xfinity Mobile iPad service. The issue was that the iPad's eSIM repeatedly stopped working, causing it to lose cellular service. I spent many hours on the phone with Xfinity support, made multiple trips to Xfinity stores, and even went to Apple for help. Apple replaced the iPad once, but about a week later the exact same issue happened again. I went back to Apple, but they told me they could not find anything wrong with the iPad and instructed me to go back to Comcast. Since Comcast still could not figure out what was wrong and fix the issue, I felt I had no choice but to file an insurance claim and pay a deductible to receive another replacement iPad, which I should never have had to do if Comcast had fixed the problem. About another week later, the exact same eSIM issue happened again on that replacement as well.

After everything I went through trying to get this issue fixed, I got fed up, switched carriers and returned the iPad. Comcast credited the remaining iPad balance but is still attempting to collect $161.20 in service charges.

I first worked with Comcast Executive Escalations, then filed a BBB complaint. Comcast responded that the remaining balance was for post-bankruptcy service charges, that the iPad balance had already been credited, and that no additional billing adjustments were warranted. I rejected that response because it did not address the repeated unresolved eSIM/service issues or the insurance deductible I should never have had to pay.

I then filed an FCC complaint. Today I received another call from Executive Escalations. I explained everything all over again, but I was again told that because the charges were outside their 120-day dispute window, nothing more could be done. When I said I intended to continue escalating the matter until it was resolved, I was told they would simply keep calling me and explaining the same thing again.

I understand Comcast has a 120-day dispute policy in its customer agreement. However, I believe the repeated unresolved service issues, the many hours I spent trying to get them fixed, the multiple unsuccessful repair and replacement attempts, and the insurance deductible I had to pay deserve more than simply being told it is too late.

This is not how a company should treat a customer who repeatedly tried to work through the proper channels to resolve a recurring service problem! I am asking Comcast to take another look at my case, remove the remaining $161.20 balance, and reimburse the insurance deductible that I should never have had to pay if Comcast had fixed the problem.

xfinity out for 3 rd weekday in a row

xfinity out for 3 rd weekday in a row. It’s impossible to get through to them to report outage or ask for a credit. Their outages are notorious. Some neighbors have IQ fiber and claim them to be cheaper and more reliable. Xfinity internet goes out with their cable but the advise you to use their app to stream programs while tv is out. I guess those bozos think you don’t need wifi to stream. Their email is totally unreliable as well. Don’t use Xfinity, there are many alternatives!

Find a different internet provider

If I could give A0I would constant internet problems them constantly trying to reset it from their end Make appointments and they cancel it and when they do show up, they'll either actually fix it, or they make it worse, 70% times they make it worse. Their technicians will not come to your door and knock on it to let you know that they are there or what the problem is. Or when they leave not even to come in to look at the router

Xfinity/Comcast is a perfect example of…

Xfinity/Comcast is a perfect example of why monopolies are bad for business. Every single interaction with this organization is painfully bad. When calling customers support, a user is forced to navigate through a phone tree. But none of those responses actually are communicated to the first agent that gets on the phone. So, all of that info is repeated. Then, more than often than not, the wrong agent was placed on the phone so a transfer is necessary. Sometimes, the transfer is completed successfully. Sometimes, the call is dropped and the user has to start all over again. I'm trying to make a change to my Business VoiceEdge service. I was just told that Comast is not able to push a config change to one of the pieces of equipment to allow us to actually understand people when they call our business. Disgraceful

WARNING

WARNING: Avoid Xfinity if you can.
This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had.
I moved and called Xfinity to cancel my internet. After being transferred multiple times and following all of their instructions, the final representative told me my service was successfully disconnected. I even asked for an email confirmation, but they said it wasn't necessary and assured me I would not be charged.
That was not true.
Xfinity continued billing me and demanding payment for a service I was told had been canceled.

Don't trust verbal promises. Get everything in writing before you hang up. Based on my experience, I will never use Xfinity again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Worst experience dealing with Xfinity

Worst experience dealing with Xfinity. Sold my house in April, so I called to cancel the service. I was told everything was completed and I was even due a small credit. When I received a bill the following month, I called back and they said it was was not cancelled but he assured me he would get it done and I should ignore the bill. Continued getting bills so I called again. On the phone for 45 mins and was once again assured it would canceled. Today I received a call from the billing department to collect the past payment or it would hit my credit score. Another 45 mins on the call getting transferred around and trying to speak to a manager, but no resolution. Never again with Xfinity!!!!!

Received new equipment

Received new equipment. My grandson came and installed it was a new modem. So later when I was checking my phone I wasn’t getting the internet. Called Comcast and tech kept putting me on hold and checking over and over, then I lost the call so called again same thing was checking over and over finally I said I’m going to call my grandson to put the old equipment back in and hung up!
Then thought I better ask if we can do that. So I called back well said it’s better with the new one and when back to hold again numerous times finally said I would need a technician to come and install it and there would be a charge! I said ‘Why it’s not my fault it’s not working’ but he said they’re professionals do they have to charge or I can get a higher speed internet for 16.00 a month said what good is that going to do if I can’t get the internet said I don’t want that so he finally said well just reinstall the old equipment back in. So my grandson came back installed the old one but had to call Comcast again this time we texted gave all the info and was put on hold and tech came on and said why don’t you reinstall the new one again and we can try again! Well our patience ran out then and I said no the old is staying in so wouldn’t you know he got the internet back on!!
What is going on? Are you doing this to have people pay for a technician to come and charge??? And aren’t the people you ask for help professionals that know what to do? The while Saturday was a wasted day with the phone calls and holding it was ridiculous.
I’ve been a Comcast customer for years you’d think I’d get better service.
I’m going to look for some alternatives for cable and internet!!!!!

The service is horrible. They somehow found a way to effectively charge you for their services, but are very inefficient when you have a problem. If your internet is down they do not stop billing you even if they take weeks to correct issue.

Xfinity came around the neighborhood…

Xfinity came around the neighborhood updating their boxes. While updating their boxes they cut the wire to our internet with a shovel.
We called Xfinity and they said they didnt know what company was updating the boxes when it was clearly them.

Anyways. It took 4 days for a tech to come out to re-route a new wire.

Another two days to trench it underground.

When they trenched underground, they cut my son in laws wifi from ATT.

Xfinitys quality of work in this department in sub par...

They are messy and do not care, obviously.

Their tech that come into the house is nice, however.

I wish I can give half a star or no star at all. Xfinity/Comcast is ridiculous, I canceled my internet and didn’t return my equipment when they want me too. I had issues with both of my cars and wasn’t thinking about an internet box. I finally returned it and they still haven’t returned my $150 refund. Different employees were telling me different days that the refund will be back in my banking account as they are all confused. I will never use their service again. And auto pay should have been turned off on my account. I always return my equipment but anyway Xfinity can kick ROCKS!!!!
