If I could give less than a one star…

If I could give less than a one star rating, I would.

Our underground cable line was cut and subsequently repaired by Columbia Township in Michigan. However, almost two months later, the replacement cable remains lying on top of the ground, crossing both our lawn and a public-access sidewalk, creating an unsightly condition and a potential safety concern.

Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue with Xfinity, and two separate work order or work ticket numbers, the line has still not been buried. I have obtained work order numbers, spoken directly with customer service representatives, and engaged with several virtual chat agents. Each interaction has resulted in assurances that a burial crew would be scheduled, yet no action has been taken. I will add a lot of yellow flags were placed in our front yard, but the cable line is located in the back of the home!

At this point, the issue appears to be more than a simple scheduling delay. The repeated promises without follow-through reflect a troubling lack of accountability and customer service. Considering the rates customers pay for Xfinity services, it is reasonable to expect timely completion of basic infrastructure repairs and clear communication regarding service requests.

After more than a month of waiting and numerous unsuccessful attempts to obtain assistance, it is difficult to have confidence in Xfinity's ability to address even routine service issues in a timely and professional manner. I can only hope eternally that this post may grab the attention of Xfinity management and the matter will be solved and potential disaster averted.

I tried to get Xfinity set up

I tried to get Xfinity set up in my apartment. A brand new building with the modem already set up. After 8 hours of being on the phone I gave up and went with a different company. They then started messaging me saying they were going to charge me for unreturned equipment. Equipment that is built into the apartment and is not to be taken out.

I signed up with xfinity wifi only

I signed up with xfinity wifi only! $15 a month. Im low, fixed income. Senior citizen. Stage IV cancer patient. Just recently homeless.
While calling about my bill, to make payments. They somehow got me signed up with some sort of TV app and mobile service! I've never used either. Nor do I know anything about them. I've called in almost a dozen times! They were charging my bank. Thats one of the reasons I've called so many times. Well now they charged me 69$! I needed to buy food with that. All I had left.
I've repeatedly reached out to just be disrespected and disregarded!
Im immediately cutting them off and finding a company that won't trick me into things I know nothing about!

Incredibly dishonest

I needed my modem either to be provisioned or removed and added back again. The customer non-service person who I was dealing with told me he needed to install a boot file, but needed my permission in order to do so. Which is odd, because it doesn't matter if you're using their equipment or your own, they have complete control over installing required software. But I digress. He said that he sent an email to me, and I just needed to sign it to authorize the installation of the boot file. So I checked my email. What I actually received wasn't anything regarding a boot file. It was a contract for new equipment and a new plan to replace my existing plan. I called him on it. At first he denied it, he said that in order to install the boot file I needed this new equipment. Hilarious right? He finally bailed on the chat. Just be careful folks, these people are more sales than support. And I can't be the only one who has experienced their dishonesty.

Overpriced garbage

Platinum member lmao the rates are ridiculous, I only have internet, fios is the same price for double the speed. Somehow I have 4 days straight of reactivation fees. The useless customer service has no idea why and yet the charges are still there. 3 payment in 5 days for 1 month service and some how there's a balance not a credit.

Inconsistent performance, slimy/misleading upselling

Service was solid for about a year. Then it started going in and out—dropping entirely, seemingly connected but not functioning at all, otherwise very slow, even when speed test said it was fast. When I contacted support for troubleshooting, I got shady upselling packaged as a technical fix. Super gross and misleading.

Death by 1000-step chat process

My promotion ended but there was no reminder, just a bill that was almost double that of last month! Yikes. I chatted on their site to Richa, who was obtuse at best and completely untrained at worst. We got disconnected just as I got the info I needed so I chatted back in to Sagar, who had to re-verify everything I had just done. It was death by 1000-step process and about 5 approvals by me via email after approving in chat.

Takeaways from today's interactions:
They need to get their service up to par.
They need to communicate expirations of promotions
They need to simplify the processes to change plans

Horrible xfinity

Probably the worst ,least helpful, least loyal and most difficult company in America. I've been a customer for thirty years in our subject to higher prices virtually every month, as opposed to new customers who just came on.Who pay about half of what I do. Do you get a live body on a phone call?Takes fifteen twenty minutes. And once you're on with these people, they keep you on for half an hour and virtually do not ever help you with your problems. This company is a complete disgrace. And i'm going to leave it very soon because i'm sick of being treated like a piece of garbage and not being thanked for my loyalty. And years of service.

I have never dealt with such a Horrible company

I was scheduled for a post wire due to my internet dropping constantly. Xfinity made appointments with me five times. Each time I called the day of and they would confirm I was on the schedule. No technician showed up and no call from Xfinity. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told a supervisor would return my call. No call from any supervisor. I have never dealt with such a terrible company. I have been keeping notes on all the calls and people I spoke with regarding this situation. Unfortunately, no one at Xfinity seems to care or help. It's time to find a new internet company and never deal with Xfinity again. Horrible service!!!!

I canceled my service and returned the…

I canceled my service and returned the gateway but did not have the flex pass so I offered to pay for it and the store employee said that they would just take it out of the card on file that I had been making payments with and then immediately I started getting AGGRESSIVELY HARASSED AND SPAMMED by Xfinity leaving ENDLESS emails, texts, voice messages, physical mailings, etc demanding payment for the unreturned flex pass that I offered to pay for that the store employee said that they would take out from the card I had been making payments on for a while and the harassment was so severe that I had to change my phone number that I had for years cause they were so relentless and I kept blocking them and they would still be able to contact me some how and so I paid online for the flex pass in addition to a month of service that I did not use and it said "final bill" so I thought after that the nightmare would be over but then even after all that I still got an email saying that they tried to text me and couldn't get through (yeah, because I cancelled my service, paid all outstanding balances and had to change my number because of their endless stalking and harassment) So I called and waited on hold and she confirmed that my balances were all paid and that my service was canceled and I said that they have no legitimate purpose to keep trying to contact me and to please just leave me alone and she kept repeating "yes, let me check" and I said very politely, "Check, don't check...but I paid all outstanding balances and cancelled the service and so at this point Xfinity has no legitimate purpose to be contacting me so if it continues and I get even one more contact from them I will file a CRIMINAL COMPLAINT for Stalking and Harassment which I intend to if they do not stop and this is the pertinent FL statuteFlorida Statute § 784.048, stalking is defined as willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly following, harassing, or cyberstalking another person. Harassment involves a repeated course of conduct serving no legitimate purpose that causes substantial emotional distress to a specific person.

I'm disappointed customer

I have been a dedicated and loyal customer for longer than I probably should. But today really tried my patience. My internet and tv cable service lost connection right in the middle of work. Trying to get a phone connection yo a human who could respond to my concerns was impossible. Trying to communicate with a robotic system was incomprehensible. To add insult to engery, a representative phoned me this morning, prior to the incident, with an offer to switch to their mobile service. Are they kidding? After my experience today, I've never been more inclined to convert from any and all xfinity products to a competive company. It's no wonder all of my neighbors switched to Sonic. Computer versus human contact is outrageous 😑

If I could leave no stars I would

If I could leave no stars I would! Spent over an hour on the phone trying to speak to someone in the United States and all the representatives were from India with bad English, if I wasn’t asking them to repeat themselves they were asking me to repeat myself! If felt like the Indian/American version of “Who’s on First” they kept claiming that they couldn’t transfer me to someone in the United States and one lady put me on hold for ever and never did transfer me. A guy told me to go to the Xfinity store in the United States if I wanted to speak to someone English. It’s sad to say That this has become everything I expect when calling Xfinity! If I didn’t hate AT&T so much I would switch back tomorrow! There has to be someone at Xfinity at the wheel of the ship who understands customer service! Xfinity has gone to crap and no one at the company cares!

Help is not available.

None of the channels on my tv would open/connect. The support/contact us doesn't work. The Xfinity Assistant also doesn't work. It just says Oops, error occurred.
That means I will have to call and wait 20 minutes for a person to talk to me.

I have been with Comcast for two decades, I am done, Irecently moved two doors down, and wanted the same plan, the guy said you got it all the same, I get home and learn, I have about half the channels. I get on the phone try to rectify it, spoke with 3 East Indians which I can barely understand, they did not listen to me just asked what channels I can do without. Maybe if they listened to the customer instead of telling them what they get. I predict they file a bk within a decade. Horrible to try to deal with.
