I ordered my dreamwave on 8th April

I ordered my dreamwave on 8th April , I followed the tracking I was given , it said it had arrive at an airport on 14 April, no idea which one ! Then it all went downhill from here , customer service gave me a Royal Mail tracking number which says it’s hasn’t left the Australia ! I have sent 5 emails , they did reply to start with assuring me that it was on its way, it still has not arrived !! they have stopped replying to me , I’m very disappointed with the customer service, their T&Cs do say they will resend product if it gets lost in transit but as they are no longer replying , I can only presume they are lying .
I wish I had read the reviews first as
I would never have ordered from this company. £79 is a lot of money to lose

Poor response for product that arrived faulty

Would give this a zero star if I could. I brought the Wylera Dreamwave curler through their sister company Sistaco. Curler was dead on arrival. Contacted Sistaco who eventually said that someone from their sister brand Wylera would respond. They did, requesting video and photo evidence of the fault which I provided however they no longer respond to my emails. Would strongly not recommend purchasing from this company or its sister brand.

Still arguing with them

I have been arguing with Wylera about this curling product for 3 months now. This is the email that I have sent them today : Dear Riz

I have sent a video by messenger. The device works fine without hair in but what is the point of that?

As I have said multiple times before, it is very faffy to use. Half of the time with hair in it turns off . My hair is not tangled on those occasions as I do not put much in and I hold the device at a perpendicular angle. It is simply too sensitive . The design is not good. I keep asking you to comment on all the bad reviews on Trustpilot but you refuse to do so. You know quite well that this device is pretty useless and ends up in the back of the drawer. I wouldnt mind if I had just paid £20 but £84 is a lot of money to me and I am really upset about losing it.

Don't buy this product!

Oh I wish I had read these reviews before I bought mine. It cost £84 and they don't even send you a plug with it! I have been using my phone charger to charge it up but I have been emailing them and Riz keeps replying and saying I need to buy a different charger. This product is useless. I try and use it before I go out somewhere special but it just puts me in a frustrated mood before I go out. My friend says it must be me and so she tried it yesterday and it tangled her hair on the 4th strand and she had to cut it out! She says I should insist on returning it. I have just emailed Riz and asked if I can return it free of charge or have a £50 refund. After reading these reviews I think its unlikely. I think I will have to go down the route of contacting trading standards and threatening to sue them. I will copy all the reviews here to help my case.

Faulty product - I’ve bought 2 and neither charge.

I have now bought 2 dreamwaves, both only worked 3-4 times before the charge stopped working. I requested to have it repaired or replaced but they refused and didn’t seem interested in the fault despite me supplying videos. as it was not in warranty they offered a discount that was exactly the same as their monthly promotional offer. The second Dreamwave also took 10 weeks to ship to me (missing the event I’d planned it for) and also died in 4-5 uses. judging from the reviews here they are well aware of the charging fault and just keep selling it anyway. To deliberately sell a product with reported fault in my opinion is pretty dodge.

Works well initially, which is why I gave it a second go but for the price per use- it works out cheaper to go to a salon!!! Buyer please beware 👀

Useless item please be careful

Bought this hair curler it has never worked does not hold a charge
Tried different plugs and chargers sockets but absolutely nothing.
Contacted the company by email only as this is the only contact? Phone number and Facebook page is non responsive when I try to contact them. (SCAM)
However after emailing a few times finally get a response going round in circles telling me what to do with the charging of this piece of useless equipment???
He proceeds to ask for photos and video which I did and clearly does not show up any charge?
Now I have asked 3 times for their address to return this item but I’m now getting no response just ignoring me.
I realise this company is selling products unfit for purpose it’s now trading standards can take over
I’ve now copied them in with everything
Shocking
DO NIT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY???

Save your money! Rip off company!

Save your money. As I have past shoulder length hair it doesn’t bring all the hair within the device leaving the ends sticking out! And keeps turning off-Asked for a refund, kept getting the same transcript reply email from “Charles” at 2am in the morning. Absolutely not helpful whatsoever kept flicking the same email back to me about terms and conditions, asking to send a video!
Rip off company! Don’t bother at all!

Wylera Nightmare Wave

I had joined the Wylera Facebook page before ordering my Dreamwave Ultra. Upon delivery of my hair curler I immediately set the device to charge using the enclosed usb cable... 6 hours later, battery still not past one bar as per arrival. After posting on FB I received a PM from Wylera telling me to click on their customer support link and they would advise next step. Nothing. Link not working. That was 4 days ago. To date, absolutely no word from Wylera. Terrible service. This was not by any means a cheap item

AVOID

AVOID! I think this is a scam. I bought this product and it simply doesn't work. The barrel doesn't turn. They claim to have a 24/7 help line, but nobody answers - not even a robot! I telephoned my bank and apparently the company said I requested a subscription, which I didn't. As with other client reviews, there is a lot of delay with talk of sending my complaint to the technicians. I've shown a video of it not working. The normal behaviour is to replace or refund. For sure they will answer this message as they have done others, but they are not answering the telephone and are using delaying tactics. I have notified the authorities. Beware!

I had problems with mine from the getgo

I had problems with mine from the get go. They ask you to send through videos and keep asking questions and I almost gave up the will to live. I get it Wylera, you sell these things but make no attempt to resolve issues at all. I would not recommend

I have a dreamwave

I have a dreamwave.
10 days ago it stopped charging. I have got in touch with the company and have been sent through the whole process of photographing and videoing the Dreamwave, the leads the plugs. Showing that it isn’t charging. Then they reply and say that we need you to try it with another plug. And we need to see the wattage of the plug. Now we need to see the lead… I have sent so many photographs and so many videos and they keep coming back with asking the same question and asking me to jump through another load of hoops I have literally lost the will to live.
I explained I needed it resolved quickly as I am going on holiday I need to take it with me. Emails take at least 24 hours to reply, and when they do reply it is requesting another round of photos and videos. I’ve tried phoning the company and there’s nobody there on the phone lines. Not happy at all with Wylera

I am not getting anywhere with my…

I am not getting anywhere with my refund request. Purchased last week been on various websites. Cannot get the curl I require. Had hairdresser assisting me. Do not have the time or money to faff. I just want a refund! Done various heat requirements as stated via chat on Facebook with Wylera expert. Being told due to hygiene reasons Refund unable, which is totally ludicrous! Does provide curl, but same curl. Refund please! Jane

I love my Wylera styler

I love my Wylera styler, it’s so easy to use, and I have arthritis in my hands, which is difficult with straighteners, if you have problems too this curler is a game changer, the curls last for days, you can choose a tight curl or a loose one, I never thought it would be so good as I’ve bought other stylers in the past, but the Wylera wins hands down

Best hair product ever!!

Best hair product ever!!! I love it, my 2 daughters love it. My husband curled all of my hair for me! This is so easy to use and works so well. The reverse direction is fabulous. Absolutely love it!
