Looking forward for my next pair

A few years ago I decided to only buy foot shaped shoes and sandals that fit my feet, incl. extra width. Plenty of failed attempts. My first Wydes were spot on! Well made, true to measure in mm. My knees are already better, I now only wear Wydes, if possible. Range not there yet, Meindl comfort fit gets the rest (not footshaped).
Size 11 sandals just enough for 280 x 112mm (should probably size up next time).

I have small but wide feet and I am so happy I have found Wyde. I have the Maia and the Nova. The Maia are my favorite and I am looking forward to the Maia strap arriving. My shipment of the new Maia was delayed and I reached out to them about it. They were quick to respond. I highly recommend Wyde Footwear.

Attentive customer service, attractive and quality shoes that actually fit wide feet. First pair of sneakers were on pre-order but arrived within a reasonable time frame. Second pair were delivered within a week. Third pair of shoes are on backorder but company has been very apologetic and communicative about it. Happy with the shoes and the company.

I hadn’t come across the Wyde brand until recently while searching for a wider casual sneaker to overcome some sports related issues with my feet. And wow! I landed on the right brand for me. I am delighted with the product and will look for the new additions to the Wyde range

Very comfortable for my wide feet. But the sole is too flat for my feet. Should be just a little bit more built up. I am using them every day and like the design and color. Interesting that I had to pay extra tax twice to get them shipped to Indonesia.

These shoes are exactly what I have been looking for many years(!). My toes are way more comfortable and moving freely in the toe box. I have tried other bearfeet shoes, and I love that these have a modern sole so I don’t walk with thinner soles all the time. I will later buy another pair, so I can keep walking good walks with my dog.

During the first two weeks of using my pair of Nova, it seemed like my feet took some time to adjust to the increased space when walking in a pair of shoes. After these two initial weeks, I got rid of some subtle pain I have experienced previously ("pre-Wyde") in the arch of my foot and sometimes in my calves/shins. The material seems qualitative and I think the style fits beyond the scope of just everyday use. They work well for slightly dressed-up occasions as well (I went with Beige/Blue). Easy/fast delivery.

Have recently purchased another pair of Wydes. I have several Novas, one Soma, several gym shoes and now a Maia. Delighted with them all but love the Novas most of all. I walk so well, so comfortably with them. Thank you Wyde.

I have purchased Maia sandals. They are of good quality, beautiful and flexible.

I ordered footwear from Wyde Footwear and paid in full, including an extra charge for UPS Express shipping.

At checkout, UPS Express was presented as a paid shipping option with a fixed price. Based on that, I understood I was paying for the delivery service. However, when the parcel arrived in my destination country, UPS demanded a substantial additional payment before delivery.

To be clear, I understand that VAT or import duties may apply on international orders. My complaint is not about taxes themselves. The issue is that the UPS demand included courier-related fees such as brokerage, clearance, handling and service fees, which were not clearly disclosed to me before purchase.

Wyde’s shipping information referred to local import duties and VAT, but in my view this is not the same as clearly warning customers that choosing UPS may also lead to substantial additional courier service fees beyond tax.

I contacted Wyde several times, provided screenshots of the checkout page and shipping policy, and proposed a reasonable compromise: I would pay the local tax component, while Wyde would cover the non-tax UPS courier fees that had not been clearly disclosed. Wyde refused and maintained that all charges were my responsibility.

The parcel was not delivered. Since no agreement was reached, it has remained with UPS as unclaimed goods. At this stage, I have neither the footwear nor the money I paid for it.

To be fair, customer support replied quickly and politely. But polite replies are not enough when the actual problem is not resolved. The experience left me feeling that Wyde does not take sufficient responsibility for how its checkout and shipping information affect international customers.

I have submitted the matter to the Swedish consumer dispute authority and reported the broader price-transparency issue to the Swedish Consumer Agency.

My recommendation: if you are ordering internationally, especially with UPS, check very carefully whether the checkout price really reflects the actual cost of receiving the parcel. In my case, it did not.

finally truly confortable shoes made in europe

I’m so happy with these shoes. I’d been looking for a pair like this, as Birkenstocks never seem to fit me properly. I love that these shoes are finally wide enough and so comfortable.
The quality is very high and the delivery service very quick.

I have wide feet, and can't get anything in regular stores. Wyde Footwear is the first brand whose sandals fit me perfectly. The quality and materials are excellent, and they are very comfortable to wear. I’m so satisfied that I’m planning to buy shoes from them too. Highly recommended!

I purchased multiple pairs of the Novas, one in white and the other in black. The black pair have held up perfectly and I have absolutely no complaints. On the white pair however, the heel of the right foot is collapsing under my heel with every step, the left shoe has no issues. After sending several photos/videos of the issue to Wyde, they claim this is to be expected and is not covered under warranty. This issue started after only wearing the pair of shoes for 2 hours.

My son has wide feet and wanted a comfortable pair of trainers last Christmas. I purchased a pair from Wydefoot which he has worn constantly. No discomfort. Well made and good quality materials.
