You got to laugh !
You got to laugh !
I could laugh at all the bad reviews as this is what happened to us today, long consultation 2.5 hours , price for patio doors £10,900 then reduced down to £7800, then as we said we had to go out it was reduced down to £4700 we had a rough idea as a our surveyor quoted around £3000. Just watched the BBC Rogue Traders and the sales girl offered us the same promotional discounts as in Rogue Traders ,if we had a board outside and would write a compimetary appraisal letter etc etc.
Phew glad that was over - even after the Rogue Traders they are still upto the same tricks - we were lucky - never sign anything until you have a chance to do a little research. Because of the companies lack of morals we will not consider zenith ever even if we could buy at trade prices.

Terrible company conning customers.

And using dodgy sales tactics.
Don’t use them

As an existing customer I wanted to come on and leave a review after last nights rogue traders.
Personally I’ve used Zenith for both my own property & my mother’s house to replace all of our windows, doors and a patio door.
From start to finish I couldn’t really fault anything. Yes there was a bit of haggling with the price, but I’ve been through this when buying most home improvements for my property- even my window blinds I had to haggle with the sales man from another company, so this was not unusual for me.
The windows I researched at the time are recommended by which, so I knew I was paying for quality and most likely never need to replace them again.
The installation itself took a day longer than expected, but I’d rather that than rushing to complete.
Over all 10/10 for me.

Do Not use this company
Do Not use this. Company!!!!!! Zenith knocked on door selling home improvements , we agreed , salesman arrived went from £15000 ton£5000 , with him checking with his manager Ash Wells , we needed financial funding which they said they could arrange. And I said. 3 times. , I m not parting with any money till that. Was arranged , 3 more visits , sorting out paperwork they said it was all fine. And was approved , gave them our deposit , in feb , survey done a few weeks later , all system go ! Waited 5 weeks , rang them to see when windows are being fitted ?.... to be told finance was NOT approved ! So why the hell didc they take deposit ? Why they did n t ring us to notify this. ?? So what a waste off everyone’s time ? So they have our money since feb , took about 10 calls. Loads off email s : always said they would get back to me , funny enough did not ,,, I rang trading standards , and they advised me on a letter to write to them and got our deposit Back yesterday , , we are a middle aged family and just worry about these sales company on the older generation , please don t use this company

I happened to see Watchdog last night
I happened to see Watchdog last night, my mum had 2 salesmen vist her from Zenith around 18 months ago, they were there for hours and somehow managed to persuade her to sign a cheque for £200.00 deposit and enter into an arrangement of around £20 thousand for double glazed windows. It took phone calls and emails from myself and my brother to eventually have the contract cancelled, my mum is a pensioner but an intelligent one, basically their bullyboys sales tactics wore her down and she signed the contract. I would avoid this company totally as they are unwilling to leave a property without a sale.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience, to install the conservatory took months and months as we had to call them multiple times to come out and finish it as they just left it half done. Always rude on the phone and noone is avaible to help you out they just saying someone will call back but never happens. The conservatory is boiling hot and it's not even summer yet. Really disappointed and regret to chose Zenith.

Further to my answering Zenith's…
Further to my answering Zenith's private messages to me on 8th and 22 May and giving them all the information they need to 'find me' in their records, I still have not heard anything from them and can still not make contact with customer services. This is typical of the last 2 years when you need to have a service visit. Having spent at least £20000 on 3 installations I expect better service than this. Start until now its's a nightmare, if you value your health don't use them!!!!

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, MISLEADING AND UNPROFESSIONAL
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, AWFUL COMMUNICATION, DISHONEST ABOUT TIME LEADS, , VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. ORDERED DIVIDE AND GLIDE DOORS ON 12/4/19, TOLD INSTALLATION DATE 3-6 WEEKS, STILL HAVE NO DOORS OR COMMUNICATION FROM ZENITH AND THEY WANT ME TO PAY MORE MOMEY ON INSTALLATION BECAUSE THEY SAID THEIR SALES REP GOT A LITTLE CARRIED AWAY WHEM GIVING ME A “GOOD DEAL”
Placed an order of Slide and Divide doors on the 12th April 2019. I also received an email from Zenith on the 12th April confirming this and the email states “installation date 3-6 weeks”.
Unfortunately I have been unprofessionally dealt with since signing the contract with Zenith and because of the lack of communication from their employees and unwillingness to be honest and forthcoming, they have cost me a lot of money, time, stress and inconvenience.
I had been advised by the sales representative that my doors would be delivered and installed between 4-6 weeks once the contract was finalised which was done so on the 12/04/2019. However I was aware that that may not be the case as I was advised a surveyor would have to come and survey my home for the product I was purchasing, although I received an email from Zenith stating delivery and installation would be between 4-6 weeks from the 12/04/19.
The surveyor cane to my home on the 27/04/19, surveyed the opening at the back of my property for the doors to be installed.
Since the surveyor came, I received no correspondence from Zenith at all with regards to delivery and installation.
I had been in communication with the Sales rep Raj that sold me the product and I was chasing him to find out details about the delivery and installation. Unfortunately he was unhelpful and asked me to contact management at head office to follow up as things were out of his hands at that point.
I personally took it upon myself to contact the manufacturing company who said to me that manufacturing of my doors was SCHEDULED for the 12/6/19!!! At this point I was very angry, upset and felt completely mislead and cheated.
I contacted Mr Andy McInnes at head office to find out what was happening with regards to my doors, but he basically said that things were out of his hands and could not confirm any installation date with me. but there has been no communication from him since the 13th May, and most correspondence from him was only because I have been following up and chasing my order.
All they care about is securing sales and contracts and securing deposits, and what comes after that is something the customer has to deal with as Zenith doesn’t care.
STAY AWAY FROM ZENITH! DON’T BECOME ANOTHER VICTIM LIKE MYSELF

My mum ordered the installation of two…
My mum ordered the installation of two sliding patio doors which would involve the removal of some brickwork, the fitting of an RSJ/lintel to support the roof and the removal of a single plug socket.
A price of £5000 was agreed. A surveyor came and highlighted no issues. A time frame of three weeks was agreed.
Around two weeks later Zenith decides that the electrical work, removing a one plug socket meant the price had to rise by £1600 - WOW!! These guys must pay therir sparkies serious money...
Then they start demanding more money to install a lintel.
All of this was very clear to Sarah, the saleswoman who hung around like a stale fart for three hours, when she made the quote. It was also very clear for the surveyor to see. Why the delay in changing the quote? And why make a quote you don't honour when it is a perfectly simply job?
My mum has decided to cancel the order, as Zenith is refusing to honour its side of the contract. Zenith, the straightforward honest company that it is, refuse to refund the £400 deposit.
Just as soon as we can track down an actual company name and address these crooks WILL be receiving a summons to the small claims court.
STAY WELL CLEAR. THIS IS ONE VERY VERY SHADY COMPANY
6 June 2019 Update....
Order number and details sent. However, unlike the public response on Trustpilot, the wording in the personal message does not mention a refund of the money owed by Zenith for its failure to honour its contract. It merely says they will "have a look into this".
Following the BBC Watchdog/Rogue Traders coverage of this company's underhand practices, I am not optimistic. If the money is not returned in seven days we will take matters further.
UPDATE JUNE 7
Today a letter has appeared from a company called Shawbrook asking for confirmation of a £5000 loan (total repayable over £10,000) which Zenith applied for in my mother's name. I really can't stress enough how crooked this company is. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANYONE EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM.
Never mind the small claims court, this could well end up in a criminal court for credit fraud. The police are being informed.

Had a call from Zenith with usual sales pitch
Had a call from Zenith with usual sales pitch. As we'ed had work done before and we wanted a couple of windows, front door and conservatory roof replacing, we asked for a quote. A manager came and gave us loads of sales tat and a quote which after some serious negotiating, got the price down to a reasonable amount. Surveyor came and did some measurements. Said that due to a problem with our conservatory roof (pitch and fitting against the wall one end) it was not possible to do. We still wanted the windows and door. After approx 3 weeks we got a call saying 'sorry to hear we'ed cancelled the whole order which we hadn't!!! Another salesman came, again took measurements etc and we finally signed on the dotted line. We were told it would be about 3 weeks but was actually 4 weeks. What was REALLY annoying was a phone call to say a fitter was coming the next day (this call was at 4.30 pm)!!! Both of us work and not able to get time off that quickly. However one of us stayed in and the fitter came and did an excellent job. He cleaned up very well so no complaints there. Zenith, your inter department communication leaves much to be desired and certainly needs improving. Your consideration for your customers also needs improving. Asking a customer to 'drop everything' just for a fitter to come the next day and no leeway is very poor.

I am looking to replace my windows so…
I am looking to replace my windows so investigated what was advertised as a green investment scheme. I arranged from someone to come around and it turned out they were from Zenith. The guy was very nice, very personable and their products looked great. Things all started to fall apart when it came to the quote.
I was told the quote would be honoured for 18 months, giving me enough time to look around and of course get some other comparisons. On the day however it became clear that they wanted to sell me a long term account plan, which I would have to live with for the next ten years unless I was prepared to pay a penalty for early redemption, and could afford a big initial payment but more importantly I had to sign up there and then to get what according to them was the best price.
I could tell they were trying to pressure me by asking why I could not agree to it now, really when it is none of their business which I told them as such. Next thing I know he's texting his manager or sales lead and they are having a conversation about why I am saying no. Who does that? Between them they tried to re-present their sales pitch thinking it would get them what they wanted, all without little regard to what I needed.
Next thing I know another offer comes flying in but which will only be available, you've guessed it, if I agree with it right now. You know we were tempted then I get told it's going to take a long time to set it all up, and this after they had already been on site 3 hours for what was a one hour appointment.
I could not get rid of that feeling of unease and had become more and more angry re the way the appointment had been managed by Zenith. So I told them no, not signing up, going to get two more quotes and then I'd make a decision. The sales person left and have you noticed all you get is a set of mobile numbers no land line numbers anywhere.
Terrible experience, hard selling all about them, not customer focused and looking for the desire to secure a 'great deal' to be the thing that drives us all.
Their products look great, but as people buy from people, do you really want to buy from an organisation that is like them!

Still not sure....
So, I had a knock at my door last week. It was a guy from Zenith (I immediately said I’m not interested in windows or doors and went to close the door), he said even thought about a porch.... actually we have been thinking about this recently yes. He said he could drop off a quote through the door, I said okay (no harm in finding out a price right). He then had to take some information from me and said he will pop back later to give the quote, I said I didn’t realise you needed to come in etc. I said I can’t do today and didn’t want it to take ages as I wouldn’t be deciding straight away! We arranged for someone to drop by the next day on the Saturday around 12. I receive a call later that evening confirming, I then receive 2 more calls on the Saturday morning and finally some guy turns up about 12:30-12:45 (from a different branch as the other branch cancelled).
He was quite polite to be fair to him BUT to cut a long story short (he was here for 90 minutes!), we were looking for a new front door, take existing door out, some new plasterboard to make the small additional part inside and to level the step at the front which would now be inside the door. He talked a lot about different options, how good their products were etc, then sat down looking busy crunching numbers and then asked myself and my partner what we would pay and expected. We both didn’t really know but had an idea in our head due to having other works completed already around the house. I said £2K and she went £3K (as I say this could have been a bit out but we didn’t want to spend much more than this so I thought fair enough). His eyes almost popped out and he said it was very low and the price he has is £14K! He then said we can do X, Y and Z and get it down to £8.8K, WOW this guy should do my taxes as he has just knocked off £5K just like that.... this is where the magic really happened! He completed a survey with us and at the end said what price would have sealed a deal today, I though I guess this would need to be a little higher than what we already said at they are a lot more so I said £4K, max £5K. I said £8.8K was still too much and he said he would call his boss to let him know he was leaving, he told him our original expected price of £2K-£3K and they seemed to kind of laugh about are low price and he said let him see what he could do and he would call back. Hey Presto, within a minute he called back.... really, I better ask him to sit down. He said my boss has managed to do a special and we can do it for £4.4K! So you have dropped from £14K to almost £4K that easy! To me this is underselling their product and making it seem a little rubbish, bringing their quality down etc and makes me think will I still get a quality product and good job. I respect a company more that gives me their HONEST first or lowest price, maybe drops it slightly but then tells me they can’t do anymore. At least this way I know they have a good product and value if they are prepared to walk away from the sale. Didn’t get this with Zenith.
I said I was not signing today and with that he was gone and said he would email me everything over!
The plot thickens.... (I swear I could produce a film from this) Scene 2, I receive a call on the Monday from someone saying they are from the trade team of Zenith and basically they can save me additional money as they take out all of their profits etc if we are batches onto a larger order in the area etc.
I agreed to someone to come over last night Tuesday, they had to do the same thing again (which I felt was pointless) and said he would be over at 7-7:30. I said this was a little late but in the end agreed and said I didn’t want someone here again for hours! We prepared dinner earlier so we could see the guy. I get a knock at 6 and it’s the guy, we are just about to eat dinner (to be fair to him, he said he would wait in the car). We ate dinner (a little quicker than I would have liked) and I went and got him.
Ling story short AGAIN, he was here for just over an hour, did a lot of number crunching again and said he could do it for £3.1K but that would just be the door and we would do the rest! I said that isn’t going to work. He explained if they just levelled the concrete at the door it could break away and slide down the years etc (this put me on edge anyway), he said the guy on Saturday shouldn’t have just said they would do this and he was probably just trying to get the sale. He magically made a call to his boss (something he said he wouldn’t be doing at the beginning) and someone called back and said they could do it all now and it would be fine (hmmmmm), the total price would be £3.4K.
I said I wouldn’t sign up today and his tune changed, he said you have got what you wanted but still won’t sign. He said this could be available to you again but once I leave maybe not as they only have 6 consultants across the country in the trade team and they can’t always get back for months on end!
Both guys were nice enough don’t get me wrong, I didn’t like the whole “sales play” and getting a call, please sit down as this is going to be too good an offer etc. It felt wrong and actually reminded me of a TV series I recently watched called “White Gold” about double glazing salesmen funny enough.
You have to sign there and then or the deal is off kind of thing, no other company does this and gives you as much time as you need without pressure.
The whole thing just didn’t sit right at all, I also looked on here and read through lots of mixed reviews! Some good, some awful!
To make things worse still I have literally just received another call from Zenith, trades team again trying to get someone back out to better my quote from Saturday. I let him talk for a bit and then said do you realise someone did this last night! He said sorry, we have 600 consultants across the UK so hard to keep track. I explained the guy said there was only 6 and this is why he couldn’t promise they could get back and honour the price so quick!
All in all everything smells fishy to me and it has totally put us off using Zenith! The last price of £3.4K (that they originally laughed at when we said £2K-£3K, not so far off eh) didn’t seem too bad BUT we have not had any time to speak to a local builder or other company that specialise in this to compare.
I don’t think we will be going with Zenith but I bet I have to deal with another 2, 3, 4, 5 calls before they hopefully understand. We will see.
Invite them into your home at your own risk, they will need to come round multiple time unless you agree to their first price (which will be high). They will spend hours with you so be prepared but at the end of the day it will be up to you in you go with them. Hopefully they change their ways as their products actually seem good.

We’ve used Zenith twice before, and been happy with the products and the tidy and clean workmanship.
We are having some old felt roofs now replaced as Chris has shown us the EPDM product, and we are happy that it will last many years.

Poor construction, poor customer services
Zenith took 1 whole year to build our Orangery. On completion we are now left with a damaged ceiling and flooring, from cracks in the ceiling where water is dripping through. We have puddles on the floor and the ceiling is sodden. Zenith do not seem to see the urgency in rectifying the damage, that is getting worse daily. Zenith had promised to have completed the work within a month of parting with my money. In reality The build took over 1 year, causing a lot of stress and now due to the poorly constructed build, it seems to be still ongoing.

RELIABLE DOUBLE GLAZING
Zenith have been excellent from start to finish. I have used Zenith for many years and always find their products, service and efficiency second to none. I am delighted with the latest installations. I received a no-pressure quotation, superb service from the Customer Services and, finally, the fitters were extremely careful, clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.Thank you

Very good service
Very good service. Working backwards ... the team who fitted the windows were polite and informative ... the comms team leading up to the fitting were helpful and understanding of a few home issues that delayed the start date ... the surveyor was quick and efficient.
