I will like to thanks YUMM for letting me have a nice experience. I was treated really well from the start to finish, I got a lot of advice and tips about my modelling career, they also showed me how models walk on the runway. Visiting YUMM was one of my best idea ever and I hope I’ll have another chance for a shoot.

Everything seemed legit until my interview with 'Jacob'. Miriam the photographer seemed super lovely!
Anyway...his energy was off from the start, we did have some chit chat but he spoke really quickly and was very blunt and quite rude majority of the conversation, he didn't even tell me his name, I had to ask, myself.
The key points:
- You're told not to speak to other interviewees in the waiting room...I found that this is because they wouldn't want me telling those waiting to go in to RUN while they can.
- After interviewing me, he told me that I was successful and proceeded to present the different "packages". The £100 "deposit" package that they lure you in with is rubbish, you're barely guaranteed work, you can only make from £60-£120 a day on this package, how misleading. There were about 6 packages and he tried to encourage me to purchase the "Elite board" £1000 package where you can apparently make £600-£3500 a day LOL.
- Obviously, I did not want to sign the contract and so he said I wasted their time and that I couldn't keep my photographs as I wasn't "honest from the beginning". (At the beginning, he speedily asked if I had read the email and if I was willing to proceed, considering.) He tricked me unfortunately.
All I'm saying is, I wouldn't advise you to waste your time (croydon is so far, I was so mad) and travel money (they did not reimburse) and if you do, sign at your own will, you've been warned.

It was amazing experience. All the staff there are amazing and very kind. I thanked YUMM for welcoming me and be part of their journey. I really appreciated them. They deserve 5 stars reviews!

Thank you YUMM, as I entered I was politely greeted. I automatically felt comfortable and during the shoot, I was nervous to begin with but the photographer was very nice and helped me feel comfortable with the camera during the shoot. Amazing experience!

All the stuff are very nice and welcoming! Great experience to have for the day!

I loved being part of this agency despite the fact that they did not give me that much work they provided me with modelling training and gave me my deposit back and all the staff were lovely and really supported me in my modelling career.

Please avoid getting involved with these guys.
The quality of their emails and communications is as bad as I have seen. I asked for a receipt and received an email. The company email addresses and contacts have all changed since we began the interaction. We have not had the initial photoshoot and are now trying to get a refund. But we are being told we will have to wait 12 months. They have no morals or principals. They put pressure on young people to sign-up to the dream of earning lots of money from fashion shoots. Please avoid signing up to this. They can not be trusted.

Honestly couldn’t be more happy with a modelling agency. They provided the free portfolio promised and also provided the free modelling training promised couldn’t of asked for a better experience

My experience was great the employees are very helpful my inquires we’re seen to very quickly through email .

Scam. They delete negative reviews, use fake images and certificates. They are fake.

All of their News posts are from 2018 and 2019 i.e. 3 to 4 years old! THREE to FOUR years old!

What kind of company is unable to keep the posts on their own website even remotely current? The kind that takes 500 pounds or more from you for a "free" photo shoot. Their so-called contract "deposit" is refundable BUT only if you meet their quota of jobs. Do you think there will be sufficient current jobs posted on their website to meet that quota? Well....just check out their News section for posts that are current!

Believe the 1 star ratings. They are the real ones.

These people are scum. They make you pay a ‘security deposit’ so you can sign with their agency. This is illegal. They take advantage of vulnerable individuals. They need to be shut down.

Loooool so much denial if that’s the case then why can’t I join without a security deposit? You lot are dumb lol

They are taking your money and doing nothing for you as they promised. So avoid that Agency please please

I was treated with kindness from start to finish. They were very professional and made my experience easy.

I was treated with care with start to finish. The photographer was kind, patient, polite and enabled me to look my best and strike the best poses for the pictures. She made me feel comfortable, we gelled very well and above all, I was pleased with the final images.

I enjoyed the experience very much so. Modelling has been something I've wanted to do for a while now, however, life has thrown curveballs at me, delaying the process, however this shoot and being successful in the process was the biggest sign that this is what I'm supposed to be doing and that I have a purpose in this.

I feel like I gained more modelling experience, definatley something to add to modelling CV and also my knowledge, in terms of its history, pillars in the modelling world, i.e Virgil Abloh, Karl Lagerfeld, where Chanel originated etc. It was also another opportunity to polish my poses and what to do in order to look my best in shoots. Above all, I enjoyed the shoot. The staff were welcoming, courteous, friendly and polite and the process ran pretty smoothly and straightforward.

I want to thank the guys at YUMM.
My experience was really good, better than I expected in an industry where I’ve come accros some dodgy people, YUMM are the real deal, clean and well organized environment. Very polite and professional staff guiding you through the process. I look forward to working with them a lot more and I’d recommend them to any aspiring models out there.

I have been with this company for over 3 years now and I havnt gotten a single job, they claim they’re giving a package with free training and a free photoshoot but you have to pay a deposit for £100-£600 and if you take the ‘free’ photoshoot they keep your deposit so it’s not free as they advertised, and the photoshoot is only for an hour before you’re asked to leave, when I went to the ‘free’ training, when the trainer left the room, all the models were discussing if anyone had been booked for a job yet, not a single person had booking since working there for 6 months.

ANY MODELLING COMPANY THAT ASKS FOR MONEY IS A RED FLAG, there’s a lot of unreasonable conditions they have, if you break they keep your deposit, they expect the model to apply for 3 jobs every month, which isn’t normal, the model booker should be booking them, not the model. During the pandemic, everything was closed so when my contract finished I wanted my deposit back but they wouldn’t give it because I didn’t apply for jobs DURING THE PANDEMIC, and they extended my contract for 6 months which I declined but they forced it anyway without me signing a new one,
ITS BEST TO AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, from these other reviews I read they’re only about the interview process and not the actual job itself

This experience started around October 2018 but it doesn’t allow reviews older than 12 months

I would like to thank YUMM for being so generous. The staff were very kind. The experience was great. The shoot was amazing. The staff were friendly. It was worth it.

The people at the agency were so welcoming and friendly. Naturally, I was quite nervous when I went for my first initial shoot, but they made me feel relaxed and the photographer was great at giving some advice on how to pose. Glad I was able to have this experience.

YUMM model management were very kind, funny and warm throughout the interview which made me feel a little more confidence as they were very caring and considerate of being a first time model.
