Toleration of abuse at Beth Rivkah Ladies College.

In my class at Beth Rivkah Ladies College, there were 6 girls I know personally who were victims of child abuse from their relations, both regarding violence and molestation. There was no attempt of any kind made during all the years I attended school there to educate, inform or assist victims of child abuse. It was taught consistently from kinder to graduation that elders are to be revered, obeyed and never questioned. Further, there was no counselling of any kind. If a child could not perform for whatever reason they were severely punished, often humiliated in front of other students.
I would like to add that members of the staff at Beth Rivkah knew of the sexual abuse crimes of David Kramer, the notorious Paedophile who is now serving a sentence in prison for molesting children while teaching at neighbouring Yeshiva College, and did not report it to the Victorian Police until the Royal Commission extradited him to Australia, many years after the crimes took place.
Beth Rivkah maintains consistently high academic results, it is a cover for the ignorance, enabling and tolerance of child abuse of significant numbers of its students.
