I am glad that I listened to Xchop team advice and today I have a magnificent magento store

We recently launched our ecommerce website and it was built by the Magento Development team from Xchop.com. When I approached this company for my ecommerce web development needs, they recommended Magento and I am glad that I listened to their advice and today I have a magnificent ecommerce website built using Magento. It has a number of interesting features and the company built a very user-friendly website. The company maintained strict timeline and delivered every phase on time. They have a very good customer support team and, on the whole, I found the entire Magento development process completely stress free.

My experience with Xchop was totally amazing

Our Shopify website was developed by Xchop.com and the company delivered what they promised. Initially I was not sure whether the company will be able to meet my requirements as I have experience working with a number of companies in the past on similar requirements but the experience with Xchop was totally different. The company has a highly experienced team of Shopify development experts. I managed to get a very professional looking Shopify website at a reasonable price and all credit goes to the Shopify team. This service provider is totally committed to customer satisfaction an important quality required for a web development company.

Not professional, fake support, technically weak

I ordered a conversion from a PSD to email HTML. At checkout time there were many options offered (too many for my taste, as they should have been included in the initial fee) but none about Retina compatibility (a simple and standard feature that uses @2x resolution images with a fixed half width). After the order was made I saw that the order page showed “Retina Display Compatibility: No”. I then wrote support who answered with a stock photo profile image and a fake name "Sharon" based on their proficiency in English. They said Retina was not an option for emails, and that no one ever asked them for this before. I told them I knew it was technically possible, even sent a link to an article on Litmus, and they asked me to wait several hours so that the technical team would see if it would be possible. The whole experience made me feel uneasy and, knowing that their offices in India were not open yet at that time, I asked for my order to be cancelled and refunded, and that no work should be made. The support agent said they would forward my request to accounting. Despite that, the next day I saw that they hadn't refunded me, that they hadn't cancelled my order and I actually received an email saying they worked on my request, asking me to check their work, and saying the refund would only once I remove my review on Trustpilot which sounded shady. Being unhappy with the situation, I went back to the online chat with support. This time a Victor Archer quickly took over, still with a fake photo (different from the one linked to in one of the other reviews here), and he still asked me to wait for the refund, that was supposedly sent to "management" and it would take time. As I understood they were stalling, instead I opened a complaint on PayPal and provided all the details of how they willingly ignored the cancellation request I made ten minutes after the order and how they started work instead the next day. Knowing that PayPal would rule in my favor, they finally did the full refund. It took one minute after I opened the complaint. I guess it did not require going through several upper management layers after all… Even the way this refund was made shows how they are playing mind games with the customer and do not look very honest.

Worst Experience

Hired this company to complete our corporate website (10 page website). The scope of the project was to use Wordpress Elementor and to implement a custom design. After months of back and forth i decided to cancel the project because they could not meet the objectives clearly defined during the statement of work.

They offered partial refund and promised to rebuild the site from scratch again (this time according to them building it correctly) - here is the skype conversation with one of their managers https: // prnt. sc/pyoua9 or see chat message below. But at this point the project was significantly delayed and the website was unstable so I cancelled the project. They are not reliable.

Victor A (XtmlShop Manager:
"can you give me a week time I dont want any money from you i will refund you as well as per my promise...you will get the refund as per my promise after that I request you to allow me to rework a fresh new work with fresh new team and on our test domain with assured pagespeed and performance"

Overall the worst experience - bad quality, bad communication, no attention detail.

AMATURES avoid at all cost and…

AMATURES avoid at all cost and specially if you have more advanced projects. They are not capable of anything besides very simple tasks and it´s definitely no American or western person available. They lie and don´t keep dead lines. Avoid at all cost!

We are driven by price / quality /…

We are driven by price / quality / timeliness and have ordered many times from XChop.

The latest assessment is this:

Positives :
- work is delivered on time
- price is reasonable ( about 25% of the local cost here in our country )
- general html5 rules have been applied
- responsiveness to some of the quality issues was done within 24hrs
- for the price it is economically justified to use their services, provided you have a front end developer to tidy up the loose ends

Negatives :

- code needed a tidy up, under the direction of our developer here
- some things either they were not capable of or didn't understand

On balance, we will continue to use XChop, they did 85% of the hard effort and saved us money, and were fast, but they do need to improve their quality to get the 5 star ratings from us with flawless work.

Having said that they met our 3 star expectations for price and quality

Cheap Service = Poor Quality

The old adage that you get what you pay for is particularly true here.

If you have a simple hobby website or want a design sliced on the cheap then they are probably ok, but if your business depends on the quality and implementation of a design then pay a bit extra and use a professional service.

xHtmlChop (also known as xChop) are cheap, enthusiastic but lack the capability and basic understanding of Ecommerce to deliver on what they promise up front.

It is no surprise that their TrustPilot average score is so low. It should be noted that their 100% refund guarantee is nothing more than a marketing statement.

Awful service

Awful service. Avoid at all costs. They fail at all disciplines, from project management to development. Missed deadlines. Poor coding. Terrible communication. Stay away. They should be out of business.

DO NOT USE XhtmlChop!

We had two small projects completed with them and in both cases they ran way over schedule, were poor quality and required multiple fixes after completion. All of which took hours of continuous contact to get them done. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company. Their support is pitiful and their level of expertise is basic. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

DO NOT USE XhtmlChop!

I am delighted with the service…

I am delighted with the service received from xhtmlchop and I would recommend them to anyone.

Will be using again, so convenient and quick. The only criticism I have is than the developers all seem to work on India time, where as support is ALWAYS available. Sometimes in your face available. That is my only critisism, not a bad one, but sometimes the support desk popping up and telling asking me if I needed help was a little annoying. On the plus side, every time I tested them, they were back with a reply within 5 seconds... But the support team are not developers so cannot actually help if you have an issue out of "developer hours".

That is the state of affairs as I write this. I will surely use them again.
