Wyevale in Weybridge, Surrey. Excellent! Theyve got it spot on with Covid19 safety. Really well organised. Charming, friendly and polite staff. Really clear 2m distancing signage. Felt very safe here.... See more

Wyevale garden centre

Wyevale garden centre, Haylane, Wroughton, Swindon.

This garden centre is expensive. From plain Orchids at £29 + to 2litre lavender pots at £10. Harrods its not, and given its location near Swindon
I would have expected more reasonable prices.
I visited the garden March 31, and found the choice limited . Only half a dozen small fruit trees, the Clematis section had a few plants but little choice. Because the garden centre is shared with an arts and crafts shopping area, the whole place is a bit jumbled . Compared to Burford garden centre Oxford which is slightly cheaper, Wyevale does not come close.

Bad customer service

Really poor customer service in the aquatics section! I'm quite inexperienced and have just bought some high maintenance fish and wanted some tips and information on how to care for them properly, they had no time to answer my questions or help me out. They were ignorant and seemed to rush me away as quick as they could! You'd think they'd care for the animals wellbeing. I had to go to several more places until finally I got some proper help from pets at home!

Expensive and only average to poor quality

So sad that our local garden centre at Moreton Park, NE Wales has been taken over by Wyevale. Everything seems to have gone down the tubes now. Plants are all horrendous prices. Bought some 'John Innes No. 1' there and it was so wet it was useless. To be fair they did refund the unopened bag but didn't offer to refund the opened one. Got perfect satisfaction down the road at "Stan's" so won't be back.

Zero care for customers and especially kids play areas are unhygenic

I have visited the garden centre in Pulborough a few times and whenever I go the customers service and care for the customers and their kids is below poor. The kids soft play area is so dirty and always has chips, drinks and other food on the floor, I am worried my kids are more likely to get injured slipping over on the floor and the food is probably going into the soft play area where t will grow and attract rats etc.

When I both spoke to someone at the centre and also sent an email through their customers service link on the web, they didn't come back to me for over a week.

It is fair to say that they don't care about their customers or your kids and there are other soft play areas in the area I would use first.

very poor

Not great, plants poor and nothing exciting, inside lacked sparkle considering it's Christmas, and the coffee shop overpriced for what you get, will not be going to Wellingborough again, which is a shame as it once a lovely garden centre.
