First off
First off - as a housing association I couldn’t fault them. My housing officer was very quick to respond to any messages sent and the maintenance side of things were also very quick and efficient.
My only grumbles would be the “rules” and the leniency towards other tenants.
I feel that the rules are way too slack which then creates bitterness between neighbours and awkward living conditions.
Maybe my situation was an exception due to the estate being very tightly squished in and the tenants choosing to socialise out at the front of the square which in turn ment that I was having to push my way through people just to get to my front door.
My final gripe was when I stepped out to take my little dog for a walk only to get attacked by one of my neighbours dogs!! She has got three very dangerous and unsolicialised dogs squashed into her 3 bedroomed house with her husband and two children and she accidentally left her front door open!! I managed to pick my dog up just in time but these 3 dangerous dogs were circling us and jumping up at me. My dog got bitten and had to go to the vets for treatment and I felt terrified to step outside of my flat again after that.
This is a prime example of the rules being too slack. I have now moved to a council property where it is strictly 1 dog or two cats per household.
Sadly my lasting memories of wales and west housing will be that nasty dog attack, it has ruined my poor little dogs confidence and it could have easily been prevented.
