Wunderground use to be an amazing, reliable, site for weather. Since they were sold, it's become a useless mess of a site where it's nearly impossible to get any weather info at all. Such a shame to see such an amazing site go downhill so rapidly, and so drastically.

Continues to give wrong weather reports several times several times

wug used to be useful. no longer any good! They keep bugging me to turn off my adblocker. I send them my data so I am no longer required to look at their stupid ads.

I'm tired of watching them promote TEMU which sells sexual devices on their website. My family is going elsewhere from this BS which is obviously run by perverts!

I see that their business is to create adds to make money. That's all, as their forecasts are usually highly inaccurate to often being completely opposite of current local conditions.

Although the service is user-friendly, the authentication problems are huge. The password reset works sporadically. If the user logs out...the next time they log in they have to change their password, and even after changing it the site continues to say that it is incorrect. In essence...it is difficult to use.

I used to really like Wunderground. It provided information that other weather sites did not. There were so many benefits to it until it got bought out. It is now the absolute WORST site for weather. The calender no longer provides extended temps, for several days. It gives "average" temps instead. There's no forecast temps listed. Truly pathetic. The site should be shut down. Don't waste your time or effort there. It's been this way since 2020 at least.

The website to set up an account is loaded with adds that appear to be part of the account set up but during the set up process ask for a credit card saying "100% Free" don't go any further. If you do a charge appears on your credit card immediately.

Your accuracy is horrendous. I mean, you aren't just wrong, you aren't even in the ballpark. If anyone in the private sector did their job with your level of inaccuracy and alarmingly incorrect forecasts, they would not only be fired, they would never get a job in that industry again. A joke. Your service is a joke, at best.

Total garbage. Exaggerates adverse weather in terms of storms, rainfall, snow, etc 24 to 48 hours in advance, then incrementally backs off the forecast as the day arrives and not a drop of rain, rumble of thunder, tail of a tornado or flake of snow materializes. All in the name of climate change.

For months WeatherUnderGround, aka WUG, will not allow me to login, logon. When I am allowed to, the WUG still does not allow access to its app, just a blank page.

So I have been trying to get WUG to assist in providing a link to a removal of WUG app.
I have no longer been nice and polite in my replies to them, as deaf ears, and a copy and paste reply, (to be seen below), is the pat answer.

The WUG used to be good. Now I am not allowed on three machines to login to WUG. Even when I do, it does not work.
I have requested from WUG a link to remove their APP. They ignored them until I posted a less than nice review.
In the last few days, I state what I want, and they sent back, “If we do not hear from you in 90 days, you will need to ask again as we will turn off you request”, paraphrased.
Now they have a new nonsensical useless answer, reply.

What exactly do you want to do? So far as I can tell, you are using Weather Underground via a web browser. Are you trying to remove that data from within your web browser?

I suggest you all Do Not Use, or Add to your machines!

I am going to change my ISP, wipe memory, replace my apps, under new AKAs, change my cell number, and do whatever I must do, to get rid of WUG.
Thankfully as a retired engineer, debugger, I have the knowledge to do the work needing to be done.
I just should not have to do the work. Which includes my investments, retirement accounts, doctors, family, friends, banks, credit unions, financial institutions, and everything that must be done.
Sorry for the length, but please do not allow the WUG to get its hooks into your machines.

I am sure that the WUG has the same protection from our government, the FBI, and other Federal and Local agencies that will prosecute me, fine me and possibly imprison me if I reverse engineer their software so I may remove it safely, and provide the services to others

Actually that us a Zero but it is not an option. Between the website and Google ads they manage to waste your time. Nothing worse than climbing a ladder to 4m, 20m from a building or obstruction using GPS test to find true north, calculating relative air pressure and double checking all your data and accuracy changing your data network and modem to provide information online only to find Tik Tok has priority what is seen. Their ad that is with no time limit. it's no wonder at my age I loose hope for the world and I can sympathise with the younger generation and their frustration when a handful of money hungry grubbs are lording it over us with their bulky tactics.
I am now looking for another hosting site and if I can't find a better one I will just take my weather station down that's it.

All I can say is- what a bunch of morons running this site. With the many decades of weather data available you would think they could get the forecasts right.

Most inconsistent trash weather service ever. The last 20 years of Wunder has gotten pathetic. The term forecast, is not accurate because you define it as present, right now, this minute. And your predictions being 10’-15’ degrees off at times is evident. You are thieving liars selling cheap Chinese products on constant ads. Some of these products are adult things. I hope you are investigated, prosecuted because you are one of the cancerous growths in this country

I just deleted this piece of crap app from my phone. No longer have to deal with 'weather alerts' every 11 minutes. Man, I feel great now that this piece of garbage is off my phone for good. Aside from the insane number of redundant alerts, it's a good weather app, as the forecasts are accurate. But it's simply too annoying to get bombarded with the stupid alerts. Hello Accuweather!

All of the weather measurements are right in front of you if you actually know what you're looking for the information is there and you can get it for 10 days or even the whole month and by the minute you can tell whether it's going to rain where you are standing I don't think that's very bad.

It's a great site/tool.... when it works! I have complained and complained about the ads making the website unusable. The ads take over the entire page, making the website useless. Supposedly, you can create an account and get ad free. I would never do that now since it's the worse user experience I've encountered when it comes to reliability of functionality. Such a shame because when it works, it's my favorite site for checking weather.

Poor. Says my weatherstation is offline when I log in to website, but the weatherstation does show on app. Given up with trying to get it to work. Adverts are annoying.
