We had a fantastic experience with Lauren at Wren Kitchens Kings Lynn and would wholeheartedly recommend her and the branch.
We first met Lauren after our kitchen fitter arranged meetings with several kitchen providers. Lauren was by far the quickest to get in touch and, despite us being several months away from installation and only able to meet virtually, she was incredibly accommodating. She spent over two hours with us going through options, answering our questions and helping us design a first draft of our kitchen.
Our renovation was quite complicated, with the kitchen and dining room being joined and extended, and at the time we only had plans rather than final measurements. Lauren handled this brilliantly, offering creative suggestions and adapting the design as our ideas evolved. We had one idea and she did not dismiss it at all at first but made some very valid suggestions, understanding our needs and ‘must haves’ and we moved towards what she had in mind with lots of enthusiasm.
We met with other providers afterwards, but the level of personal attention and support from Lauren made Wren King’s Lynn the obvious choice for us.
Our renovation was then delayed by several months, but Lauren remained responsive throughout, helping us update the design and making sure we benefited from the latest offers. She was even able to honour our original quotation while upgrading the kitchen to a better finish.
Once the building work was complete, she promptly arranged the final measurements, updated the plans, invited us back to the showroom and helped us finalise everything. Even after ordering, she continued to help when we needed to make a few changes to the island.
The kitchen was produced and delivered within around four weeks, and when a small measurement issue during installation left a gap, Wren was very helpful in resolving it with a discounted wine rack.
Overall, the process was straightforward, personalised and genuinely enjoyable. We never felt pressured and always felt that Lauren was focused on helping us achieve the kitchen we wanted. The quality of the kitchen is excellent, and the technical support from Wren was also first-class.
We are extremely happy with the final result and would highly recommend Lauren and Wren Kitchens to anyone looking for a great kitchen and, just as importantly, excellent customer service.
Certainly not the best quality kitchen. It’s been in a year and so far it’s needed multiple door’s replacing due to de-lamination. However the 5star grade is for the team dealing with the issues. This time Samuel, excellent individual, provided exceptional well thought out advice and kept me informed all the way.
Samual worked very hard to help me on the telephone and was very patient with me. Friendly and helpful
J.J. Samuel visited our home today on behalf of Wren to take all the required measurements. He was extremely professional, patient and very thorough. He took his time to make sure every measurement was accurate and didn’t rush the process at all. We really appreciated his attention to detail and the care he took throughout the visit. Excellent service from J.J. Samuel — highly recommended!
Just want to say how lovely J.dean our surveyor was today. He was very polite and helpful. He even booked us in himself for our design appointment next week. Thanks again.
Wren kitchens have gone above and beyond for our kitchen installation.
I have been installing it myself, but Wren's have replaced 3 cupboard doors with blemishes on, and replaced a composite sink which I took responsibility for.
I cannot thank them enough. Amazing.
Matthew in customer service handled our complaint professionally and in a very helpful manner He gets 5 🌟 . Reason for 4 stars is the delay in getting appliance. If only they had issued a new appliance as I requested at time of first contact. All in all a very good service and would recommend Wren and will certainly use Wren again when the time comes to do the bedrooms. AEG - sorry but think they need a shake as the customer service and contact from their subcontractors are appalling and would certainly never get any of there appliances again.
On arrival Lee Albrow was very polite & respectful of my property. Lee explained how the survey worked & what happens next. Very professional answering any questions I had.
A Moss was great, he came in and was so quick and efficient! He was on time and got the job done quickly! Answered all our questions without hesitation
Definitely recommend!
Very disappointed with Wren Kitchens – looks great, doesn’t last !
Our Wren kitchen looked fantastic when it was installed. Unfortunately, after just 3½ years, the reality is very different — and for the price we paid, the quality and durability have been extremely disappointing.
Within the first week, the hob cracked simply from putting a well-known cast iron pot onto it. Wren’s response? Not their problem — we were essentially fobbed off.
Then there’s the freezer. The door seal has split, meaning the freezer is constantly overworking and building up ice to the point where the door doesn’t close properly. Not exactly what you expect from a relatively new kitchen.
The cupboard doors are another ongoing problem. They constantly need readjusting and, unbelievably, we have had several doors actually come off when being opened. When one of those doors is on a high wall cabinet, that isn’t just annoying — it is potentially very dangerous.
And now our Bosch integrated microwave has stopped working, displaying an error code that appears to indicate a fairly catastrophic fault.
So, yes, the kitchen still looks good from a distance. But a kitchen isn’t just about how it looks in a showroom. It should be built to withstand everyday use for many years.
We genuinely expected a kitchen from a supposedly reputable company like Wren to last considerably longer than 3½ years, especially given the amount of money you pay.
The most disappointing part is the attitude when things go wrong. Rather than feeling that Wren stands behind the product they sold us, we have repeatedly felt fobbed off and left to deal with problems ourselves.
Our experience has completely changed our opinion of Wren.
If you want a kitchen that looks great for the first few years, perhaps Wren is for you. If you want a kitchen that is built to last, based on our experience, I would absolutely NOT recommend Wren Kitchens.
A very expensive lesson learned.
Had an issue with a dint in a worktop and scratch on a cabinet, one of those things really and there was no quibble about having them replaced. I was being told different delivery days for both and wondered if they could be sent at the same time. Bailey was really helpful and patient. She kept me in the loop of what was happening and explained as she went. Thanks very much!
R Brookfield from Southampton Branch did our survey today. He made sure that every detail was included
Abysmal. Avoid at all costs. Made to measure furniture that doesn't fit in the house despite being assured it would by their in house surveyor. Half the furniture missing from order. And don't know what to reorder.
Installer then sent following day to install furniture that wasn't there and became quite irrate on the phone.
Customer service a joke. No offer to make amends, just have to wait another 4 weeks for someone.
Will be going to the FHIO at the end of the week to report them as they do not meet consumer standards
Both the driver and delivery guy were top class! Didn’t mind them being late as they kept me informed throughout the day! Credit to the company.
I love my kitchen, the quality is wonderful even though we went for the most budget range available. The doors are strong and sturdy. The new kitchen has made our house feel much more homely, elevating the entire house. I adore the integrated appliances (all through wren). Tate was fantastic with us in the showroom too. He talked us through all of the design options that we had and upon seeing that we wanted a new kitchen but couldn’t afford the top line range, he accommodated us well and adjusted the kitchen to suit what we needed. We got to see it through the VR headset and see what our kitchen would truly be like. The fitter of the kitchen (we employed our own) made an error with the drawers and wren has sent out new ones to him so the issue can be fixed too. I will always have a wren kitchen but next time I will not employ my own fitter and wait instead on getting wren’s tradespeople in next time.
They do not tell you that the delivery day is not the day your furniture gets fitted and they leave all the rubbish - packaging, screws ,wood on top of your bed and you have to move it out side until the disposal van comes to collect it. It’s one day for delivery another day for fitting and another day for removing all the waste. I had to pay an extra £83.00 for two extra shelves and delivery, I was told that because the shelves came with the wardrobe delivery I would be reimbursed the delivery cost. But no reply to my email. So I did another email to the company complaining about the service, I got a email back the next day saying my case is closed, no explanation or anything.
Tate at Dundee made the process of designing the kitchen and selecting the items so easy. By taking us around the showroom to see the different layouts and items as we created the design we were able to easily visualise everything. The virtual reality tour was also crucial in helping us chose colour palette.
