Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 28 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with customer service, finding it unresponsive and difficult to reach, often leaving issues unresolved. Customers frequently reported poor product quality, with tools like pressure washers, lawnmowers, and batteries failing prematurely or malfunctioning soon after purchase. The warranty process was widely criticized, as consumers felt the company often failed to honor guarantees, making expensive items seem disposable and not justifying their high price. However, some customers did find certain tools, such as specific blowers or older trimmers, to be effective and suitable for homeowner tasks, appreciating their initial functionality.

Pure garbage, both products and customer service.

Purchase a Worx lawn mower in August 2020, which was used only 3 times that year. In the summer of 2021 went to use the lawn mower and nothing worked (batteries fully charged). Called Support after trouble shooting they informed me they would replace my lawn mower. 3 months later (thanks to my neighbours for lending me their mower), I sent an email requesting the status of my replacment mower. no reply. 3 weeks later I sent another email, this time threating legal action. Guess what, I received a reply stating: My model is discontuned and they would send me a refund in two weeks...a month later nothing. Stay away from these guys purchase a stihl battery mower instead. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

BAD BAD COMPANY AND WORST PRODUCTS

Please save your money and do not buy products from this brand. Bought items and when they stopped working I contacted the worx helpline. 4 months later 15 emails later and now they will not respond to me. Cheap tatty equipment and shame on shops for distributing these faulty tools. I just cannot express how annoyed with this company and there staff. Not worth anymore of my time and effort Cut my loses. Paid €250 in Argos and they say it’s not down to them either.

Worx- WG779E (Grass Trimmer)

Worx- WG779E (Grass Trimmer)
I recently bought a grass trimmer- Worx- WG779E and it's horrible and has many problems.
The two batteries (40V) have not necessary power to make it run and it keeps turning off. The lever for adjusting the grass height comes out of its place and you can also adjust it only in one position. The cut grass don't go to the bag and most of them leave on the ground.
So it's absolutely piece of junk and never buy it.

Best product ever

Bought my husband a Jaw saw for pruning and cutting tree limbs. Perfect product. Battery operated and strong. Sure beats trying to start a chain saw. He used it when my friend was here and she liked it so much she got one from Worx. She's not a big person but she uses hers a lot.

I bought their weed eater with FREE…

I bought their weed eater with FREE SPOOLS FOR LIFE.
They charge you $7.00 for shipping and handling. They are very light so it doesn't cost them that much and they won't let you buy more than 1 at a time, so they can charge you $7.00 each time. THEY ARE NOT FREE. Canadian, What do you expect. CROOKS!!!

Worst products on the planet.

Worst products on the planet.. do not ever buy a landroid, I already wrote worx back when I complained about my absolute horrid machine. The first guy I spoke to was ready to give me my money back, but then they sent out another guy who said they never pay back the money, they “fix” the problem.

Products - horrible
Service - horrible

Weed eater 12+ years and still going strong

i have had my worx weed eater/edger for the past 12 years. I use it 2-3 times a week during the spring & summer months. It is not as powerful as my previous gas trimmer but im no longer pulling my arm out of the socket trying to pull start it and no more spilling gasoline everywhere.

As a petite women, I love my worx weed eater because it is much much lighter, adjusts for a shorter person, and its so easy to start. I like being able to rotate it and use the wheels as an edger, although it does require arm strength to pull and rotate the wheels to use as an edger. The only complaint i had was the bump feed never did work but it is only a minor inconvenience to me, compared to the other advantages i mentioned. Im glad to see they chgd the design of the line feed, hope it works.
I’m now using it as a mower on my newly downsized lawn.

THE REAL PLUS: I have been able to have a lifetime supply of line spools and ive been able to replace the worn-out spool caps without having to buy a whole new weed eater.

Cheap CHINESE Knockoff brand

To call WORX a cheap Chinese brand would be an understatement. Quality is nonexistent and their customer service is the worst I've experienced in the UK. Multiple emails go ignored and they are keen only to do their best to deny all warranty claims using any means at their disposal.

To summarize, this brand is nothing but inexpensive Chinese landfill rubbish.

NEVER BUY A WORX S300 LANDROID

I had bought a worx s300 landroid or robot lawnmower a year ago. The product had 2+1 year warranty but stopped working completely 5 weeks ago. I contacted Worx and was told they would solve the problem by 3 weeks. They didn't reply so afterc20 days i wrote to them. First they said they would replace the faulty lawnmower with a new one but then they sent a dirty used scratched lawnmower saying that it was refurbished. I didn't accept this product and returned it. Now I don't have any lawnmower or money and worx tells me that I can only get the used landroid ONLY. Never again. These consumer rights are only for manufacturers. I had contacted citizens advice bureau who told me that I had to prove everything even though the company accepted they had given me a faulty product. My only option is to ask for a refund from the credit card company. Fat chance of that happening.

Their robot lawn mowers are so bad

Their robot lawn mowers are so bad, a first gen Roomba with a scissor would do a better job cutting the lawn. and their after sales dep. is not helping, just telling you to buy new wheels, battery, and add-ons. Switched to husqvarna never looked back

I have a WG774 lawn mower

I have a WG774 lawn mower. It worked good for 2 years. On 7/16/2021 it stopped working. When i engage the operating lever i hear a clicking sound at the motor end but it does not run. Been on the phone and email most of today 7/19/2021. Finally got a call back from a lady in Charlotte N.C. who resolved my problem. She is going to send me a new unit. Doesn't get any better than that.

Worx doesn’t work for me anymore.

Would be a minus 3 if I could. Poor customer service. Not answering phone, supposed to get a call back within 24hrs. Didn’t happen. Tried chat, auto message said 23min for answer. Over 2hrs so far no answer. Product 5 days late so far and by tracking it will be another week or two. Terrible, just terrible service. Will not use Worx anymore.

I bought worx wg-170.2 JUNK

I bought worx wg-170.2, what piece of garbage.
The shaft to twist, to go from edging or trimming, is almost impossible to turn. The battery died with in 15 minutes.
To make matters even worse is, I can't even register the product, or get live chat, or an email to them. I'm just out of thirty days to return the piece of garbage. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute this charge. I will put it out in a future yard sale.

I bought a WORX SoniCrafter Model…

I bought a WORX SoniCrafter Model WX671.4 approx 8-10 years ago, Can't seem to buy the WA2109 sanding pads (vented) anywhere, Argos,Amazon,Saxton Blades,Worx ???
Because Worx has newer models of the Sonicrafter with different fixing (WX Range) they can't even tell me if they will fit each other, When i ask questions about WX671 they take you to a WX686 model for sale which has different fixing, Useless and will never buy Worx again, To think of the people i have told to get themselves a worx sonicrafter i now feel i have let them down, Their web site makes it hard for people to ask Worx a question or it puts you back to Amazon or Argos, Thanks Mike

Don't buy Worx mowers

Don't buy Worx mowers! It’s the worst device I’ve ever bought.
It broke down before the warranty period expired, and the company only procrastinated without intending to fix the problem.
Their service company LetMeRepair GmbH returned my mower back in much worse condition than before. Total disaster. I spent many months in conversation without success.

Lawn Mower lowest Cut Depth is 35mm, Not the 20mm they claim....Very disappointed....

I bought this mower because its supposed to cut to a
depth between 20mm - 70mm....
But it Doesn't,
On the lowest setting, I put a straight Edge diagonally across the wheels, then measured to the blade it was 35mm....
So I phoned the helpline numerous times, to see if there was some other way of adjustment....
But they were Very Unhelpful, and never even bothered to return any of my calls, or come up with an answer to this problem.....
So if your looking for bad customer service and a Mower that only does a LONG CUT OF 35MM...Maybe try this one....
