Foam insulation removal
We asked this company to quote for removing spray-on-foam insulation from my elderly parents' roof. They visited and removed some foam taking away some of the felt when they did it. They then told my parents there was a hole in the roof and the risk of leaking (bad weather was expected), and that the whole roof needed replacing. The cost of this would be over 40k plus VAT. They said they could start imminently and could put the scaffolding up the next day. It felt like there was a lot of pressure to make the decision to go ahead. Fortunately my brother and I were able to intervene and decided to get an independent surveyor to look at the roof (cost ~£400) who said this was NOT needed. In the end the foam was removed by a different firm for £3k, and my parents did not pay this amount until the roof had been inspected again by the independent surveyor. He signed it off as satisfactorily removed. A considerable difference in work needed and associated costs. Beware!
I called to have the foam in roof…
I called to have the foam in roof removed due to bad reports finding it a possible cause of rot in timbers.
Upon checking, the age of semi detached bungalow showed it was old style membrane under tiles rendering this task impossible.
The only option was to completely strip the roof to check all timbers, luckily the age had only affected mainly the batten ends and not the rafters.
The working leader very good at coordinating team tasks finished the new roof completely with new modern membrane and new treated battens also some new tiles etc, complete with solar panels all refitted in two days.
Followed by half a day loading all foam rubbish and fully cleaning up everywhere.
Very pleased indeed, it might have been expensive at the time, but at first an unknown extent of rot, and ultimately will increase value of property if ever want to sell.
WORKSMART ROOFING LIVES UP TO IT'S NAME
We could not recommend this company more highly. The work done to our bungalow to remove the wet roof lining along with wrongly applied, unnecessary, spray foam, replace existing tiles and complete in two days was done by a highly organised team. Everything was left in very good order and rubbish removed. A special consideration was made in our situation as my husband is soon to be discharged from hospital for palliative care at home. Carl Morris bent over backwards to provide the best job for us as quckly as possible
another no show a lot of the other reviews

Let down twice over the Christmas period. Sham company. Don't waist your time and effort
Unreliable
Unreliable. A smallish job was due to be carried out on the Tuesday. There was no show. The company made contact on the Thursday saying they had had problems I accepted this and a promise that the work would be done on the following Tuesday at 10 a.m. Again, no show. A call from Carl Morris mid-afternoon said he was "on his way". Again, no show and no contact since. I had expected a more professional attitude.

6 months and 9 no shows to fix a leaky poor quality installation of cedral cladding. Eventually went elsewhere and everyone refused to touch it unless entirely replacing it. I had this done intending to take to a small claim court after giving at least 8 warnings. Eventually I did that and company run by Carl Morris previously called Worksmart Roofing Ltd ceased trading during the rework . I’m now left with a massive bill and I’m struggling to claim from the underwriters of the Insurance backed guarantee after the event. Same business Now trading under Worksmart Roofing and Building Ltd. His nice vans and talk is just a front. Also notice he claims good reviews on Trust a Trader. They themselves are heavily vetted by the advertisers so totally worthless! Don’t be taken in by this rogue trader. PLEASE AVOID! You have been warned.
Called for a quote
Called for a quote, I was asked to send in some pictures to receive the price. Two days later I called them as I hadn’t had a promised call.
I was told “I’m on the roof can I call you back in 10 minutes “ 3 days later and I’m still waiting
