Unless you are a nerd html coding fan Wordpress is the worst headache you will ever have designing a website. Takes about 10 times longer to make basic edits than Wix. Whatever advantage you get... See more

Pay $39 for help
I've used WordPress for years... they recently changed their customer service to an online bot called WoduMedia, which is useless. All I wanted to do was change my primary email address, and all customer service links go to Wodu, which prompts me to pay $39 to submit a help ticket... I will be transferring my blog to another service.
Pretty good so far
Pretty good so far. I have used Squarespace and also Wordpress and although this isnt as user-friendly and easy, it is far superior. The themes are excellent and I found a newsmag layout much more appropriate than the others. Wordpress allows for content rich websites.
WordPress is beautiful CMS till now
WordPress is beautiful CMS till now. I have been using this CMS since 2008. Awesome support and customer experience.
Thinking of shutting down my website.....
Using their website to create your own website is a nightmare. Critical updates can render your site unusable and you'll be stuck. I paid a web designer to create my site. Over a year later I’m still being held up by technical hitches constantly. This has prevented me doing promotional work as well as adding media to my portfolio and shop. To be honest I feel this site is a minefield and if you easily want to create and use a website avoid this site. I would not recommend this website to anyone I know....
Disaster support service
Disaster support service. I highly recomend you do not use wordpress to purchase your domain or package.I sent them 8-10 emails asking for urgent support on changing my nameservers and heard nothing back, so untill they respond and support I am stuck... #diabolical
Avoid at all cost
I like this CMS
I like this CMS. It is easy for use. I recommended them.
The popularity of Wordpress is also its liability. Only use if you are security-literate.
I have been setting up websites and managing content since 1999, and I started to use Wordpress in 2005, eventually deciding to switch all my websites to self-hosted Wordpress versions around 2016.
If you can work your way through Microsoft Word, you have the level of skills required to create and manage a cloud Wordpress.com website. Setting up a self-hosted Wordpress.org version requires a little more skills, but there are plenty of hosting providers who take care of the whole setup for you.
The gazilions of plugins available is Wordpress strongest point, since they allow you to fine-tune your website features down to the smallest detail, but these plugins are sometimes unstable, which can cause your whole website to underperform or even crash. They can also be poorly designed from a security point of view. In early Summer, a plugin that I had installed on multiple websites started generating spam links. Since I could not identify the faulty plugin, the only option was to manually back up the database and try to retrieve the latest version of my content. Not exaclty a walk in the park.
So ad of Summer 2017 my recommendation is to only use the self-hosted version of Wordpress if you are proficient with website security.
BENEFITS
* Possibility to use a Wordpress platform and transform it into any type of website thanks to Gazillions of plugins.
* Huge marketplace of free and paid for themes.
* The systems helps you to keep itself updated.
DRAWBACKS
* Themes can sometimes be very tricky to figure out. Where to change one image, where to change one caption, etc...
* The functionality of themes or plugins sometimes breaks after a version update.
* Liability tied to poorly designed plugins.
Out of date
Using Wordpress feels like you are back in 2007. There are way betters tools out there, I won't be using them again.
Best CMS for companies and small …
Best CMS for companies and small businesses!!!
Wordpress does not need my review
Wordpress does not need my review, they are huge and has helped millions of people. Its a great cms and great for those who are not much technical. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to start his/her own website!
good thanks go
Build!
A great website builder - but if you know how to use it, the service requires some specific skills. But yet its one of the best in terms of price/quality.
Best CMS Ever?
No question about it. Has millions of plugins and themes and millions of support forum topics solved.
Latest update ruined my website.
Having ran my website since last September everything was fine.
However, Their last update removed all of the images rendering my website useless.
Having contacted their 'support' on their forum an employee stated if your plumbing is broke pay for a plumber. My argument is that if they hadn't messed with it then it would still be working.
Why should I now have a useless website because of their mistakes and receive such an arrogant response?
If Microsoft or Apple send out a faulty update they send another to sort out the problem. Wordpress? No, they expect us to pay for their mistakes.
Try and complain on their site. They have so much control on Google there is no way.
So simple
I love Wordpress so much, made creating my own professional website so straight forward it's simple and yet slick and would recommend anyone give it a try
Great for easy to use websites!
I love WordPress, I use it for all of my personal and client sites. It's easy to use and easy to set up. Not to mention, the opportunities for customization are endless.
Good for entry level user
Wordpress is great for getting a site up quickly but being a web designer I'm sick of arriving at a job and discovering that the site rebuild is needed because someone has put all the info in widgets! Very time consuming. If your paying over £1000 for your website try and get it done in HTML5 and avoid cms. If you need to administer your site with no technical knowledge the Wordpress is great.
Giving me the opportunity to create a global audience for free.
I love Wordpress. If it wasn't for this amazingly easy way to create a blog, I wouldn't be where I am today with my website. Because of the simple platform to create the look you want, I was able to manifest my idea of a happiness blog into reality without having to pay out of my pocket. Plus, it is so fantastic for making changes, too. Wordpress works with me and my blogging visions...something I appreciate greatly.
