DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am told by Jamie, the director of this company, that the company is no longer trading. I had a dreadful experience with them, paid the money and received nothing in return. I have a court judgment against the company now, which remains unpaid. I assume the company is insolvent as it cannot pay its debts.

Like other views don't trust this Jamie…

Like other views don't trust this Jamie we had our blinds done nearly two years ago and one of them was faulty at the time of fitting Jamie said he would reorder we are still waiting now I have lost count how many emails/phone calls he just liars saying its due to the factory then he going to use different factory blah blah. Not replying to my emails or calls now going to take further action to get my money back if he is still trading!!!!

Really liked Jamie when we ordered a…

Really liked Jamie when we ordered a lantern blind for our orangery. We paid in full because it a small startup. What a mistake.Excuses Excuses. After 14 months no blind. Couldn't get the cash back so went to companies house and got his address. It's okay because it's in the public domain. Then went round and got an instant refund. He doesn't like people doing that....so why don't you try it!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! CHECK THEIR RECENT FB REVIEWS.

We paid £2547 to Jamie Price in Nov 24 for some shutters with a 4-6 week lead time. We were delayed slightly because of an issue with some window installations but Jamie came back out in Feb 25 to remeasure and "upgrade" our shutter offer because of a supply issue.

Since Feb I have been chasing Jamie to install said shutters. I have countless unanswered emails and today is the day that he agreed to install them, guess what..He's not shown up and isn't answering his mobile and no-one is answering the office phone.

I have now started small claims court proceedings against him and i recommend anyone considering this company read the recent reviews on their FB page and contact the countless others like me who are having issues with Jamie.

Unable to provide what I paid for

Company cannot seem to manage its orders at the moment. My order initially slipped through the net, I have then been given 3 separate dates for install and noone has turned up. Virtually impossible to get responses to email or answerphone. I understand they must be incredibly busy with orders, but my money has been paid and all I want is my blind! We feel like we have been utterly scammed. Please can you refund us? I have asked by email but again am being ignored.

As with the review by Maund I had exactly the same problems with them I would steer clear of this company at all costs . The owner was bad mouthing Hilarys Blinds (as I arranged an appointment with them and they never came ) and he is even worse . Taking money and not delivering the goods blaming everyone else but himself . Use another company like Dunelm at least you get the job done .

Sadly I could not recommend this…

Sadly I could not recommend this company for their service. After two visits from this company for which I was very flexible as they were late on the one occasion I paid my order upfront in full being told the goods would be in 4-6 weeks. This being at the beginning of November 24. Had problems trying to pay as my bank raised concerns about the company but eventually it was resolved. Did make me a bit uncomfortable I have to say. 4-6 weeks came and I was told the goods were not in but they were expected. However as it was leading up to Christmas they’d not be able to install until January.
Thereafter the matter just went downhill. Promises and guarantees that the goods were coming failed to happen, constantly having to chase and being told that they’d have to see were things were at or the good were due being offered as a reason for the delay. I was then told there was a solution but there was good and news; good news that the company would upgrade my order at no cost, reimburse me the installation cost and a bit more post completion but the down side in that I’d have to wait a further 3 weeks. The Director was very confident and guaranteed my order would be in the timescale. After considering it and actually get one part of my order fitted (kitchen blinds) I agreed to accept this. This after my order was due at the beginning of February apparently, 13 weeks after my initial order . I’d said I wanted the remaining order installed by 7th Feb and so waited. A few days before this and without any communication from this company yet again I had to call them again to get an update. Apparently they could not see my order on the portal. I was then told that there had been a problem. Apparently a few orders did not go through for some unexplainable reason and mine was one. They could not give me a proper date but we could be talking about a few more weeks. At this point my patience had run out and given this company has over £1100 of mine since the beginning of November 24 I said I wanted my money back.
As was the case throughout I felt I’d had excuse after excuse. This was on a Thursday and I was told the refund would be started on the Friday or perhaps the following Monday and I’d get it sometime that week as it has to go through their system.
I sent an email later stated I wanted the money by the end of the next day and strangely enough it was in my bank on the same day of my email.
I rarely write negative reviews, I’d rather write a positive one, however I felt this company consistently failed to communicate, to deliver against promises and I was being offered lengthy stories about why they had problems. I’m a very empathetic person however as a customer what you need is honesty and completion.
I have now taken my business elsewhere and already have had a far better service.
Please be very cautious about using a company who fails to deliver
Given I was told there were other customers who also had delays I’m surprised there are no reviews on here to reflect this.
I hope going forward that lessons are learnt and promises are realistic, honest and upheld
I was told when the goods came in that I could have them FOC but given the situation I just took my business elsewhere.
