Not ideal

All fruit was bruised and mouldy, none could be eaten. Subscription cancelled immediately. Sorry, was worth a go though.

This is a brilliant scheme to save food waste

This is a brilliant scheme to save food waste, especially as they deliver across GB. Easy to use website and subscription management. Always delivered promptly and veggies are in good condition and varied weekly. Reasonably priced repressing value for money.

Value for money is quite poor

Value for money is quite poor, my box had a lot of damaged produce with mouldy onions and wilted lettuce. The amount of items in the medium sized box was disappointing too. You’d think with rescuing veg, they’d provide more than a couple onions, a squash and some lettuce. Could get it for half the price in a supermarket, and it’d also be fresh. Absolutely no incentive to save wonky veg, and therefore I’ve cancelled my subscription.

Disappointed

Was so looking forward to my box to start on a health kick in the new year. Box arrived yesterday, much smaller/lighter than I anticipated, opened the box in suspense to be so disappointed. 5 potato's, 5 carrots, 3 onions, 1 cabbage, 1 butternut squash, one lettuce and underneath all that was around 15 squashed tomatoes as everything had been dumped on top of them and bashed. Onions were mouldy and all the skins had been bashed off. Most of this veg was 15p over Christmas at most supermarkets!! It's still litreally cheaper to buy it all from the supermarket in "perfect" conditions!

I really looked forward to my box each…

I really looked forward to my box each week, but it was always such a gamble on whether everything would be destroyed or not. I cancelled my subscription last week after the latest box was just destroyed. Tomatoes split open and their insides now covering everything, celery smashed into pieces, over half of the box contents destroyed... The "packing" looks like it was just thrown into the box and left to fend for itself. Such a shame as on the weeks it was packed properly it was great. But throwing half of the box away due to damage that could easily be avoided just did not feel right.

They're stretching the truth with their marketing. Purchased a medium with 30% off, £11 down from £14.99.

The vegetables (four soft tomatoes, two husks of corn, 3 onions, one lettuce & 5 potatoes) would have cost me £5 so the markup per medium box is at least £10.

An absolute scam

An absolute scam. I ordered a medium bag of fruit, their description was that it feeds 2-3 people for a week. When it arrived I had 4 rotten bananas, 4 rotten tiny oranges. 4 apples & pears. The box cost £7.99. You could buy all of this in a supermarket for about £3 and it would be edible.

Poor quality and small amount would not recommend

Decided to try this company as they looked good and prices were reasonable. Set up subscription for large veg box and large fruit bag.
Received first box last week and was not impressed.

Firstly if this is a large veg box I would hate to see a small one. Was so small hardly any veg. Just 4 small potatoes and 3 small carrots plus 2 sweetcorn and a few other bits.

Carrots were rotton, cucumber soft, I had to throw alot away.

Fruit was slightly better but still not much there.

Thought maybe it was just a one off bad box and that they were having a bad week. So decided to see what this box was like.

Just received this week's box and just as bad, only 4 tiny potatoes enough probably for just 1 person maybe 2 at a push. 3 carrots that were soft and going off, mouldy onions, brown rotten pears.

I could go on. Had to throw alot away. I will not be getting any more boxes from this company and have cancelled supscription. I would not recommend.
Very poor quality veg / fruit and very small amounts.
