My friends and i made rings 2 spinner rings and a thumb ring.. Wendy was very patient with us all.. time was taken to explain the process and help us. it was a very interesting and fun day.. she supplied us with coffee and home made shortbread too.. which was lovely.
Most of all we all loved our rings ..

My daughter and I did the Spinner Ring one day course which a year ago if you had said I would be able to make a silver ring I would have laughed but as it turns out with Wendy's wonderful, patient tuition I came away with a lovely ring.It was not at all scary as up until the day I had visions of me being the class failure but no it was all fine.
The classes are small so therefore individual attention is premium which always helps.
I can thoroughly recommend this class to anyone interested in silver work or even those that are not.
My fiancee and I went to WMM Silver today to make our wedding rings. Right from the off Wendy made us feel at ease, which was great. She explained about hallmarking and then we went into making silver rings, as a practice before hitting the gold! The workshop was really well paced and it was great to be shown what we were doing by Wendy before we attempted it. She was such a calming presence and when it was time to make the gold rings we were pretty comfortable with what we needed to do.
The finished rings are beautiful, we are wearing our silver ones already and are so excited to have the gold rings for our wedding in a few months.
The workshop cost was around half of the other one I looked at, in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and I feel that this was really personal.
If anyone is looking to make their own rings, wedding or otherwise, I would recommend WMM Silver without hesitation.
