Great experience buying from WM Guitars. I'm still fairly new to my classical guitar journey and their friendly expertise and advice helped me to choose a lovely intermediate and onwards guitar. No pressure to buy, able to try out the guitar at their Ashburton shop, good set-up service and swift and efficient delivery. Overall - delighted!

WM Guitars is an unexpected gem, a small shop with a carefully curated collection of exceptional instruments, tucked away in a corner of rural Devon. The staff know and love their guitars and are dedicated to sharing this passion. There is no hard sell. They care only about uniting musicians with the right instrument for them, and then helping them maintain and get the best out of them. I was so impressed and really enjoyed my time exploring their wonderful guitars. Well worth a visit if you are based anywhere near Ashburton - and even if you aren't (the local area on the edge of Dartmoor is a great place to spend a few days). Highly recommended.

Quality service with fast delivery and very accurate descriptions of guitars. Just got my Woodstock Old Boy which is an absoloute monster of a guitar. Buy from this company with confidence, very honest and professional.

Spent ages trying out their beautiful Dowina guitars! I didn't buy one as financially not the right time! I could have walked out with several!!! One day!!! I did pick up some strings, a capo and some new bridge pins!!!

I've just received my new guitar and am delighted with it. I have come to love and trust the quality of Japanese made guitars It arrived very well packed with very quick delivery after placing the order. The WM team couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and patient with my many phone calls and questions!! I am very fussy!! The guitar arrived fully and meticulously set up to my taste with excellent attention to detail and with a work sheet detailing all checks and set up specs. What a great shop, well worth supporting. I look forward to visiting in person.

I went to this shop yesterday, the welcome was warm, friendly and helpful ~ I bought a Bass ukulele and amp ~ when I tried it properly at home, I just felt it wasn’t for me ~ when we ‘phoned the shop, they said “No problem”! Took the Uke back ~ full refund no quibbles at all.
The shop has amazing collection of guitars, ukuleles and musical accessories.
I highly recommend a visit to this family run shop - too few instrument shops on the high street these days ~ we should treasure them! There’s no substitute for actually handling an instrument before you buy.
