Beware Windows 11 is one big CON!

If it's not too late for any other suckers who believe the Microsoft won't protect you if you don't change from Windows 10 to 11 and buy another Windows 11 friendly laptop...... Lies and B*llsh*t!
Don't bother with the changeover. DON'T BUY another computer just for the 11 Windows changeover. Try another way (I have a friend still using Windows 7, perfectly well/safely)

It is all about flogging stuff. The mess of transferring data from 10 to 11 is still having repercussions and I have, so far, spent a quite a bit for a transfer that has not gone smoothly or well. Even Tech experts (with the extra costs) have as yet, not managed to get right the messed up data, emails etc.
I am so annoyed. I should have left it at Windows 10 and just bought another protection/cover on top of the normal cover.
It is an absolute mess and we cannot find anything.

Microsoft so-called Support, do NOT support anything, which is why they have 92% negative reviews on Trust Pilot and I may get around to adding mine soon.
I really hope we get our own UK Version of these where easy communication and support is there.

It has already cost me Big Time. I have kept my old laptop (in excellent nick) and may well try and use Windows 10 again, if it is still there.
I hope this helps others.
I will never trust Windows anything again and am very wary of the useless Microsoft Support.
Perhaps Elon Musk might create a Tesla version.
PLEASE!!
I am more inclined to trust whatever he does and accepts responsibility for.

A wast of time...

I have spent 5/6 hours trying to install Windows 11 and I am about to give upt. It is constantaly telling me I have not enough dish space in spite of the fact Windows 10 took the same and ran quite happily. It is without doubt a very powerful reason to dump my PC and get an Apple laptop.

TRASH

If I could give a -100 rating I would. One star is FAR too generous for this utter garbage.
The layout is awful compared to Win7, and its constantly throwing garbage in your face with its 'apps' that were installed with it, which you have no choice in. Also, it uses itself like an advertising board, so you feel as if you are not even using your own PC, but leasing Microsofts as they bombard you with ad's and stuff you dont even want on your own damn desktop!

And now we move to the MOST ANNOYING 'feature' of all: YOU CAN NOT TURN OFF AUTOMATIC UPDATES!
Believe me, I have tried EVERYTHING! Deleted the file that it uses, disabled updates, disabled everything connected to updates; EVERYTHING! aND YET EVERY DAMN TIME it just turns itself back on again and forces yet another PIECE OF S*** update on me that I didnt want! Which, reason being: their updates are usually nonsense thats not needed, and theres ALWAYS a 50/50 chance it'll break your setup, as microsoft are useless at the one thing they actually do.

I can not wait for a better option than microsoft/ windows, I will be switching so fast! They care ONLY about their shareholders, NOT their customers.

Whenever I leave my work on standby

Whenever I leave my work on standby, Windows closes everything and performs updates, even though I've disabled that option. The next day, I lose the progress of my work. I don't recommend it.

Microsoft letting users do its job

I sometimes have to reboot my PC thrice daily to implement Windows 10 updates. The software was shipped in a beta state instead of being thoroughly tested before being released, putting the burden of testing on the users, who lose precious work time doing the job of Microsoft's employees.

It crashes pretty often, too. It's still more stable (and safer) than the previous versions of Windows.

In my view Microsoft has destroyed the…

In my view Microsoft has destroyed the search facility on computers which run Windows. This seems to be deliberate and renders just about every modern computer useless …

A search should be instant! However, the Windows search tool takes forever to find a file even when a full indexation has been carried out!!

This is extremely frustrating and I have had to purchase third party software to be able to search my computer.

Shame on you Microsoft … A search should be instant!!! And in fact a search is instant when using third party software with Windows 10!

It's a hopeless hateful mess

It's a hopeless hateful mess.

Why does it only want to waste an hour or so with an update when I want to go to bed?

Then next time I logon I can't print to pdf, battery status disappears from the taskbar, etc.

Garbage - much like Trustpilot. Is that owned by Microsoft by any chance?

Intrusive and violation of privacy Windows 10

Windows 10 is annoying (freezes your computer for it's dominating, controlling and the CONTINUAL updates)!!
Why so many updates??? Is this for surveillance of the American public? Microsoft do you understand the psychological term "boundaries" or "privacy" or "human right to privacy"? Updates or not should be a choice - not FORCED by Microsoft's programming!!!!

I will make this short and bittersweet.
Windows reserves alot of your bandwidth for statistical analysis (also known as spying on its users).
Windows forces you to constantly update and these updates cause alot of issues with your computers.
We talk about Facebook and spying but Microsoft does not even pretend to hide it. If you can avoid using windows I suggest you do.

I still hate windows 10

I hate windows 10 as much today as I did when it was forced on me. The first thing it did was delete the drivers for all my hardware. Today, yet again (for about the 5th time) I've got to reinstall Corel. I have spent countless hours trying to sort out various problems caused by windows 10, some of which have occurred when I've been working to a deadline. I know there are many people out there with a far superior intelligence than mine that don't have any problems with it (some of them seem quite keen to point out that this is probably the problem in may cases, can't think why) and this is possibly true but there's not much I can do about that. All I know is that my intelligence was adequate for windows 7.

This is a system that is absolute rubbish

This system is absolute rubbish. I'm running a brand new Dell PC with Office 365 and Windows 10. There are downtime periods needed for updates for 40% of my working week. So I end up using a 9 year old Mac laptop for 40% of the time, which is twice as fast and never does the stupid daily updates required every 5 minutes to actually work as a PC should....Honestly Microsoft what the hell are you playing at???
