I've been a long time customer of their sunglasses for more than 8 years. The weight of the glasses are perfectly balance on my face to never fall off or get loose. Every other pair falls off so quickly.
I also love their warranty. My lenses got really banged up on a desert trip and they were able to replace them for me for a fraction of the cost.
The product is great and so is the service
Amazing quality, great team, and just all around awesome product. Love how durable and reliable the product is. I had questions after ordering and they were always fast and helpful in response. Will definitely be buying more!!!
These sunglasses are the best I’ve ever owned! They’re super sturdy and don’t scratch easily, and I get tons of compliments.
Ordered 2 pairs of hook on 7/2/23. Got email saying not fulfilled but will be deliver by 7/16/23 and they are still not here. Emailed from two different emails at least 3 times and no response. Tried fb messenger as well and nothing. Extremely unprofessional and literally no customer service. I’m disputing my charges with my credit card at this point. Save your time and money and get something else.

Had some warranty issues from a glitch but their team took care of it. Glasses are fantastic, I've had them for several years now and I love them.

Received The Empire As Gift
The Good:
Love the sunglasses - the fit, the style, the feel; it all makes these sunglasses to be my daily and easily my favorite.
The Bad:
The plastic (acetate) horned-rims broke quite easily from falling onto sand. I followed the replacement process and already paid the fee (1/6 the price of new glasses) to find that the direct replacement glasses are out of stock. The "Help" e-mail also bounced back multiple times as not existing. The response I did get took about 4 days and was a short & simple "This is out of stock, pick a different pair".
I'd hope a "Buy it for life" brand would either:
1. Stock some replacement parts
2. Respond faster and have a better avenue for their lifetime warranty policy
3. Be a little more personable as a small business; I've dealt with many small businesses where they've pulled some replacement parts on a high-dollar BIFL item, and made me a forever customer.
Love the glasses though, wish they were in one piece, and I could get another pair. I bought these off word of mouth, and honestly cannot recommend them right now.

I bought a $49 replacement pair, and the email they gave me to give the details to doesn’t even work, i have sent an email to them 4 times each with an error message saying the email address doesn’t exist. I even sent all the details to the bot on the website which is supposed to be an option but never got a response. I also can’t even contact anyone from William Painter because their entire contact us page is just the email that supposedly doesn’t exist according to outlook. Bit of a nightmare as now i have paid $300 for a pair of broken sunglasses that aren’t supposed to break. $50 of that was for a replacement I will likely never even receive since they ask for payment before even getting any details.

This is my 3rd pair, not because of their quality but because I am what they call "an idiot" and lose them or drop them in the ocean. Great product and I always get compliments on them.
I have had like 5 pairs break on me, all in the same way, at the the rivets in the end pieces (where the part that holds the lenses and the parts that swing out and go around your ears meet). Each time I've paid $50 to replace them, and it kept happening. Then, I got some much more affordable sunglasses from Zenni in a similar style and those have lasted me four times as long (and counting), and you can get them in your prescription. William Painter is dogwater.
Absolutely horrible - this is one of those companies that inundates you with all their feelgood BS but where the rubber hits the road - they are a complete failure. I placed an order for socks - without creating an account. They sent a truncated shipping notice with no tracking and the order hasn't arrived after 11 days. In an effort to track it I sent them proof of payment, my contact info, email address and the date.
HERE IS THE REPLY I GOT:
_______________________________________________Hey!
We were warned there will be quite a few shipping delays this year. It most likely has not been scanned in by the post office yet. Lets give it a couple more days and see if they retrieve it. We appreciate your patience and support and will make sure you get your glasses!

11 days for a scan from a US post office? I get stuff from China faster. The package is lost. And as I suspected - they didn't even bother to try and find my order.
Even more aggravating is their self description. This is how they see themselves: "WE WERE TIRED OF ALL THE COMPROMISES MADE IN THE PRODUCTS WE USED ON A DAILY BASIS. WHILE OTHER COMPANIES ARE RACING TO THE BOTTOM, WE STAND FOR SOMETHING MORE. WE BELIEVE EVERYONE DESERVES TO HAVE THE BEST PRODUCTS, WITH SOLID CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT TREATS YOU LIKE FAMILY. YOU LIVE AN ACTIVE LIFE, WE MAKE PRODUCTS THAT CAN KEEP UP WITH YOUR ADVENTURES. THAT'S WHY WE USE THE MOST DURABLE MATERIALS AND BACK IT UP WITH A LIFETIME GUARANTEE.WE TRULY BELIEVE THAT HAVING TRUSTED EVERYDAY ACCESSORIES WILL ENHANCE YOUR LIFE AND INSPIRE YOU TO BE MORE."
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
My sloan sunglasses broke on the area connecting the arms to the hinges... i guess its poor quality...looking at the broken connection, seems nothing there other probably glue holding the arm before it goes to the hinges... very bad... i requested a replacement for the 49usd shipment but it will likely break again.... we'll see.
I had issues with the sunglasses while I received it, with few emails they were able to send a replacement. Quick and easy customer service
I love the sunglasses, but I love the customer support even more. While these glasses are fairly indestructible between my life, training animals, and raising two children, which is basically the same thing I have managed to break two pairs. The company happily replaced them with enthusiasm and smiles. I will be a customer for a long time.
The lifetime warranty for lost replacement is literally a discount less then what the rest of the public gets on their regular sales. The discount can only be used on the full price of the product. Completely useless benefit they they put on paper to make it look good for sale.
The most breakable, unbreakable glasses.
These glasses broke faster than anything I've ever bought, unfortunately, I don't mind paying high prices, I'd pay more for actual unbreakable and a "warranty."
They are a bait and switch, I've owned most brands, no stranger to paying a lot.
I have cheap $30 glasses that have never broken but my $200+ pair of WP broke my second month I owned them and I had them in my second car I never drive. So probably like the 3rd time I wore them.
Yeah, I am writing this review right after talking to support (well still haven't heard back) but their bot basically told me I'll have to pay $49 and then gave me like 4 different things to do, including adding something to cart and paying for it.
Disaster!!!
But they are beautiful
I ordered a pair of pink lens Oasis sunglasses for my wife. My order got over looked and I never received shipping confirmation. I emailed and let them know what had happened and got a response back that same day. The next day I was given a tracking number and was told I would be receiving a free gift for my patience. Long story short the glasses came and my wife ( she’s a 10 out of 10 ) put them on and instantly became a 15 out of 10!! Im picky about sunglasses, I put them on and will buy a pair for myself because they were comfortable, lite and felt very well made. As for the free gift, let’s just say I hope all my orders get over looked.
Honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made for my wardrobe. I used to dread putting on socks…now I don’t think twice about it. Buy the 12 pack. You won’t ever spend time wondering if your socks will match. Plus, these things are built to LAST. My dog has chewed them up—no damage. I’ve ran outside on bare asphalt with them on—nothing. They’re minimalist perfection. Totally recommend. Fingers crossed that one day WP designs some underwear that’s just as good as these socks. 5/5
So, I'm a paramedic and my sunglasses always take a beating. I also have a very narrow face/head, so sunglasses also fall off of my head frequently. As a loyal Oakley wearer, I was skeptical of change, though I wanted a classier look. Cue the William Painter ad on my social media. The price point is similar to Oakley, but they said that their products are resistant to scratching and falling off, so.... Sold. Skeptically, I wore them to work where I scrape my sunglasses on the too-short ceiling of the ambulance regularly. Obviously, that happened about 10 minutes into my shift- no lens scratch visible. Fast forward a couple of months (and 1367 scrapes) later, no visible scratch. They have also never fallen off. To say I'm a lifelong customer is an understatement. Thank you for such great quality products- I recommend them to everyone one I know!
I have had these glasses for a couple of years now... recently i had to use the lifetime warranty since mine got all scratched up... the process what simple, just pay the fee and within a week i got my replacement sent!!! Truly an amazing product backed up by a wonderful crew!!
This is the second time that I have requested the lifetime warranty for one of my The Level sunglasses and their after sale service and client experience is always excellent!
Thanks Brittany for your help, support and king words... and for the 50% discount code also ;-)
Happy to be part of the WP family since 2018!
