For a quick D&D idea
This is specifically for the D&D community, so sorry to the rest of everyone.
If you're someone like me who is a cheepskate-ish person on how they spend, then Wikidot is the best place to start for D&D 5E if you don't want to full buy just yet. This is how I started D&D and was trained to make characters. I will point out that its not 100% accurate, and a little out of date, but none the less, if you are a D&D beginner, talk with your DM to make sure that this is a viable source since sometimes they may only want source material. Sadly there isn't any good imagery to know what you're looking at, but it gives you the basic need to know for almost everything.
