Not recommend!!!
Hotel locked, banged on window for over half hour to get in. Phone rings out. Room unmade, breakfast inedible, staff attitude appalling. Booked for 2 nights, stayed 1 and moved on. No refund, no reply to complaint. Avoid!!!

Spent another weekend at the Wightbay hotel with our friends for Halloween.
Matt, Karen and the staff always make you feel welcome.
Clean tidy rooms and an excellent welcome what more could you ask for.
The team put so much effort in for their guests to have a good time whilst at the hotel. Nothing is to much trouble for Matt (the manager). He isis alsovery knowledgeable concerning the Isle of Wight and places to visit during your stay.

We went to the Wight Bay Hotel at the weekend and stayed Friday night until Sunday lunchtime. Both Matt (the landlord) and his wife Karen made us feel very welcome.
On the Saturday night they laid on an Halloween party and dressed the hotel out in fancy dress with pumpkins and spiders and cobwebs etc. It really looked smashing. They also, dressed in fancy dress and encouraged their customers to do so with a prize for the best dressed.
They spent a long time preparing the food for the party which ranged from sweets, cakes and food for the children to chilli, burgers and chips etc for the adults, and lots more besides!
They, also, laid on karaoke which was great fun. They are in the process of redecorating the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and down-to-earth yet still professional.
We stayed there on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast was lovely, full English with a nice cup of tea.
We will definitely be going back to the Wight Bay Hotel as, it was a lovely experience all round.
A big thank you to Matt and Karen for making us feel so welcome! Keep up the good work guys.
Can’t wait to see it when it’s completely redecorated. It looks nice now so it’s gonna look amazing then!
See you soon!! X
