Wickes - Wolverhampton Reviews 

DO NOT USE WICKES. New kitchen installed over the course of 1 week from scratch. Have discovered multiple leaks, have had visits from emergency plumbers as well as verbal abuse and intimidation in my own home from the installer who installed the new kitchen on top of old green 50 year old pipes. Over 12k wasted, cowboy builders and thieves. Good luck trying to get through to customer services on the phone!

Just an update: please ignore wickes response to my review! They have sent me no messages to help and any response on this Trustpilot is for the public eye. My home is still leaking weeks later and Wickes has told me they will only correspond though their awful customer services at the speed of one email a day as my home becomes more damaged.

Thursday 30th April I went into Telford store to find out part of what I want was available online only. So I arranged and paid for everything I needed and they confirmed it would be delivered on Wednesday 6th May.
I spoke to my customer postponing the work thst day explaining i couldnt collect the material but rearranged yo do job on Thursday 7th as Wickes had oromised delivery on 6th. On Tuesday 5th I received an email confirming the delivery would arrive on 6th via 2 couriers. Half the order arrived. I kept tracking the 2nd half of the order via a text message link and its still saying order being prepared for delivery.
I contacted Wickes,Telford and they weren't interested, despite the order being placed at their store, advising me to call customer services. Customer services had me on hold for a total of 37 minutes only to be told they had raised the issue with courier and expect a response within 48 hours, I responded asking them if they thought 48 hours was an acceptable response time.
Friday 8th morning I rang again, this time the call lasted 52 minutes and in the end I decided to tell them to cancel the part of the order that hadn't arrived. A further 9 minutes of silence on hold im told the order had been cancelled and I'd get a refund within 14 days.
I have since ordered from Screwfix and collected the materials on Saturday 9th.
I WILL NOT USE WICKES AGAIN!!

In a word, Lydia. We wanted to order a large number of sleepers which they didn't have in stock. Lydia found them in another store but the delivery options became more and more trouble with options being blocked. She navigated the problems well, found out why she was being blocked and found solutions. In this day and age it is rare to find someone who will go the extra mile for their customers, but that’s exactly what Lydia did. Wickes should feel proud to have Lydia working for them,

I recently used Wickes to organise a new kitchen refurbishment. Michael Clause came out to my property and went through plans for a new kitchen and was very helpful with ideas what I could do with the space in my kitchen. I then visited Wickes in wolverhampton where Michael showed me the range of products they have and together we designed my new kitchen. He then went through all the paperwork side and explained what would happen next. I found my experience with wickes to be very helpful .

I had arranged for my package to be delivered on a specific date. However, it has not yet arrived, and we are now two days past the scheduled delivery date for which I paid. The timely receipt of that package was crucial for me to complete my work, and its absence has now impacted my ability to meet my deadlines.

Manjit was incredible, super helpful and recognised that I had ordered a wrong part and found the correct one for me. Brilliant customer service.

Spoke to one of the workers there at the cash register (manjeep i believe) she helped us get a 10% off discount and was very partient when signing us up. Very lovely lady

My experience end to end was really easy & quick! Mike Clausen at Wolverhampton completely listened to what my asks were & was patient with my decision making whilst giving me his advice. Nice to see people out there still care about the customer without trying to get them to blow their budget! Thanks Mike!

I purchased a kitchen with full design and installation from Wickes in 2023 and it was the worst decision I made. Things started to go wrong from day 1 of installation when the bodge workmen said the design was wrong. Anyway I tried to put a stop to everything and call the horrible woman who designed it but wickes didn't want to know and said they would fix things once the full installation has been completed. To this day we are still have issues with the Kitchen after there remedial work finished in May 2024. Within 2 years of having the kitchen there has been so much gone wrong and now my floor tiles are moving and the grout is cracking and falling out. Let's see if Wickes do the job and not try and get out it by blaming us and saying we have used steam pop or jumping up and down on the tiles to make them move. I will update on here soon. Please don't waste your hard earned money on Wickes.

Its now been over 4 weeks since I reported this issue and still have no response. Its no good adding a quick not on trust pilot to say your reviewing this.
