Returned a faulty reciprocating saw which I’d bought the previous month having unfortunately lost the receipt. Tina, the very helpful staff member found the transaction on their system as I’d paid by debit card, and exchanged the saw speedily and without fuss. Great customer service, thank you 🙏

I made a purchase using click and collect, by the tome I collected my purchase the item had sold out. The moto is "if you really want the item, and it's in demand, then use click and collect". It worked for me at Wickes and the staff were very helpful.

I'd like to take this oppertunity to recommend Wickes as they've done such a fantastic job on our bathroom. The designer (James Bealing) made the effort to come to our house on a few occasions, was attentive and listened to our ideas.
The materails are of good quality and the installer was fantastic with a real eye for details.
I can't recommend the Wickes West Wickham team highly enough!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had a new bathroom fitted nearly two years ago and since then have experienced problem after problem. I have experienced three major leaks into my neighbours property though faulty workmanship from a Wickes approved installer. The problems have ranged from fitting a shower tray which was literally balanced on floor boards, incorrect pipework used to connect the toilet, to inappropriate parts being used to join pipework together.
Wickes aftercare was appalling. Initially I was bounced from department to department with no one able to help and it took almost six weeks before they could find anyone to come and sort the problem. In the end I had to employ my own plumber and fight for Wickes to reimburse me for the work and to pay for the damage to my neighbour's property. The last incident they disputed that it was their fitter's shoddy workmanship that had caused the problem and I had no way of proving this outright.
Yesterday the nightmare began again, with yet more pipework giving in and causing a forth leak. I am so lucky that my neighbour has been understanding throughout the whole ordeal. I made the mistake of thinking that a well known company would employ competent workmen to carry out work on their behalf.
Avoid. Avoid. AVOID.
Update: 27.7.25 The nightmare continues. Not three days since my last review I am yet again faced with a new problem. My son had a shower this evening and now the dial which turns it off and on is now stuck on. On a Sunday night with emergency plumbers quoting me 400 + with slim to no chance of rectifying the problem, I was forced to turn my water off again for the second time this week.
Below you will see Wickes promising to look into the problems I've faced but as I expected no contact from them. They have cost me hundreds of pounds on top of my expensive bathroom. I paid two and a half grand to a complete cowboy who Wickes approved. I will now be seeking legal advice. The stress of this ordeal, not to mention the additional costs needs to be compensated adequately. Enough is enough. Stop offering empty apologies and sort this out.

Trevor Wickham was a extremely helpful in planning my kitchen layout, and even after placing the order I went back to change the design and nothing was too much trouble. He fitted me in between clients as I turned up on the off chance with no appointment. If you are planning a new kitchen then book an appointment with Trevor at West Wickham branch.
