From my first meeting with Deb Mason in Wickes Stafford, it was obvious she had excellent experience of the products.
For the free design service, she was on time, professional, answering all questions and offering constructive advice.
For the in-store 360° tour, she made sure I understood all details, showing me every item and options for everything to be included in the kitchen design.
Showing me how different alternatives looked. Finally printing off colour 3D details of all equipment, including full dimensions details for reference.
I felt we acted like a team together and she made me feel comfortable.
In one word it was Excellent and I thank you.

Just wanted to say thanks for the team at Stafford for going the extra mile and arranging for one of the staff to drop off my delivery after the currier failed at the weekend - wouldn’t get that kind of service from B&Q that’s for sure

Excellent service received today in the kitchen planning department at the Stafford store. Deb Mason was very knowledgeable and helped to bring our ideas to life, talking us through the options and patiently working with us to get it just right - would definitely recommend.

We went to Wickes looking to find the perfect colour paint. Nathan was amazing and helped us find the perfect colour and mixed the paint for us in minutes. Really happy with the advice and service.

I went in representing Gnosall Men's Shed and asked for a donation of a belt sander, they were only too keen to help and also threw in a bix of assorted sanding belts. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. As a small community group we rely on donations so to get this sander was amazing and will allow us to provide better quality community projects going forward.

We’ve spent almost a year trying to choose a kitchen. The one big stumbling block was working out how to project manage the whole thing, at what point do we have to remove old units, flooring, re-plastering and painting walls, put down new flooring before the new kitchen was installed? So we were delighted (and very relieved) when Deb came to measure our kitchen to be told that Wickes would deal with everything. From the moment we agreed, everything would be taken care of. Not only that, but Deb spent an hour in our house not only measuring, but offering suggestions to satisfy our needs. No question was too silly, she listened to us, and helped us design the kitchen we needed. Then, on a later visit to the store, we spent another two hours looking at designs, appliances, sinks, taps, door handles and flooring. Suggestions were added, deleted, and added for a second time. Again, her time wasn’t an issue, no question was too stupid, every suggestion from us, and Deb, was carefully considered. Eventually we agreed on the kitchen we really wanted and with current Wickes’ offers and discounts came in just under our budget too. We can’t thank Deb enough for her time, patience and expertise in helping us design and choose our kitchen. A stress free and enjoyable experience.

We were absolutely delighted, start to finish, with the assistance given us by Deb Mason. She had brilliant knowledge of the products, gave great advice, accurately measured everything and made suitable adjustments. Nothing was too much trouble for her, her wonderful, warm personality shone through and we were left with a lovely feeling of being helped, rather than being sold to. Couldn’t praise her more highly.

Great kitchen design experience with Deb Mason at Stafford. She possesses great knowledge of the complete range available from Wickes and quickly understood what I needed and produced a CAD design and full quote for me in minutes. Highly recommend you consulting with Deb if you are thinking of a new kitchen.

Deb went above and beyond to fit us in after a glitch in the booking system meant our appointment was missed. Her knowledge of the products and design software is excellent and she made lots of suggestions for alternatives where our first choice was not possible. Deb did not try to spend more on the design than necessary and informed us of upcoming offers which can mean further savings. We were provided with a 360 degree view of the design to peruse at our leisure. What a great service!! Thank you Deb xx

Mixed experience with Wickes – great design and delivery, disappointing fitting service

We were really happy with the kitchen design process, particularly the help we received from Sarah Astley, who created a design we were very pleased with. The delivery of the kitchen in July was also very good and everything went smoothly.

Unfortunately, our experience with the fitting side has been much less positive. Although our kitchen was delivered in July, we were told that the fitters weren’t available until October, meaning we could potentially be waiting around five months to have our kitchen fitted.

We spoke with Deb Mason at Wickes Stafford, who genuinely tried to help resolve the situation, but unfortunately the fitting company let us down. What made the situation particularly difficult is that my wife is a childminder, and the fitter suggested that, while we waited for the kitchen to be fitted, she could take the children she looks after to a café for food. This simply wasn’t a practical or reasonable solution.

To her credit, Deb Mason worked hard to help us and managed to arrange for our fitting money to be refunded, which we really appreciated.

We also received excellent support from Deborah Rowley Harris, who helped us alter the kitchen design after we had some new design work carried out.

Overall, we are very happy with the kitchen design and the delivery, and we really appreciate the support we received from Sarah, Deb and Deborah. However, the fitting service and the five-month wait have been extremely disappointing. It’s a shame that the fitting company has let down what was otherwise a positive experience with Wickes.

We went to Wickes after going to several other kitchen places but as soon as we saw the quality of Wickes kitchens we decided to make an appointment to sit and design our kitchen with the lovely Deb Mason, well that was the best idea we ever had, Deb took over all our worries and worked out all measurements even before our extension we were having was built, with just basic measurements of what it might look like we were able to design it and it looked fantastic, so off we went with our printout of the kitchen, we went back to Deb on several occasions checking different measurements and nothing was too much trouble for her she was as enthusiastic about our end product as we were and said she would like to come and see our finished kitchen, we are about to take delivery of our kitchen and look forward to seeing it in situ, we look forward to finishing this project so we can go back to see our lovely Deb to design our bathroom for us and get the same results thank you Deb for your patience with us, we were very trying at times thanks again.Mr and Mrs Lucas.
