Wickes - Huntingdon Reviews 

We have had fantastic Customer service from Wickes for new Kitchens and Bathrooms. We have renovated 3 properties and used Wickes each time. Sarah was our designer and her attention to detail is second to none. She had some excellent ideas to utilise space and helped us choose high quality appliances, wall tiles and flooring too. She also coordinated the deliveries keeping us updated at all times. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend Sarah at Wickes.

Wiktoria at Wickes was the Design Consultant who helped co-ordinate our bathroom refurbishment design.
We found her to be professional, attentive, friendly, and very much on top of her facts; she answered all the questions my brother and myself put to her.
She also has excellent communication skills - both in person and via email, which led to the smooth planning of the project. 
As we had a very short timescale for installation, we needed to use our own local installers.
Wiktoria did a great job in updating us, as necessary, regarding times of submissions for orders, so as to receive items in time for installation.
The bathroom design Wiktoria generated for us, was an accurate image of what we wanted the finished bathroom to look like.

Sarah was very efficient,helpful and patient while choosing and designing my new kitchen. I have used Wickes kitchens various times but I do feel the quality isn't as good as it has been in the past.

The in-store kitchen designer (Wictoria, Huntingdon store) was excellent. She took the time to discuss my needs and helped me pick out exactly what I needed. She helped every step of the way and seemed genuinely interested in getting the right kitchen for me, and she provided excellent customer service. The kitchen itself is well-made and really lovely. I opted for my builder to fit the kitchen rather than Wickes themselves, but my builder commented on the build quality, which he felt was very good.
My only slight niggle is that the customer service phone line needs to be much better. Although the staff I spoke to were friendly and answered my questions, it takes ages for calls to be picked up. You are left on hold for far too long (on average, 35mins+). Whilst they tell you that 'they are experiencing high call demand and apologise for the delay ', this seems like a permanent issue, and they really need to work on systems where calls are picked up much more quickly. Customers have to use this system to organise delivery, deal with issues, etc., and it's not a slick process because of the time you are left on hold. I did not have any major issues with my kitchen, just one missing part. This was sorted quickly once I finally got through to them. Wicktoria in-store was really helpful in contacting customer services for me several times so they could move the delivery dates, as I didn't have time to sit on hold for ages due to work commitments.

Visited Wickes in Huntingdon to get several different paints mixed. Freya was extremely helpful and professional and ensured that quite a complicated order was completed without a hitch. Very happy customer.

If you’re transforming your garden and aren't exactly sure what you want, this is the place to go.
A big shout-out to Gemma from the Huntingdon Wickes store—she really knows her stuff and knows how to help a customer.
She helped me choose the gravel color and handled the payment quickly and without any stress.
The whole visit took maybe 15 minutes.
I left very happy! I highly recommend it—Thank you

I decided I needed a new kitchen I looked in several different stores didn’t find anything I liked, We went to wickes very friendly staff kitchens beautiful, had an appointment with Sarah Jenkins she was very professional and very helpful she measured up my old kitchen explained everything in detail, then we went to see her in store to see the kitchen Sarah had designed for us didn’t have to change a thing absolutely perfect, Sarah was not pushy she is very professional felt very comfortable with her, thank you Sarah looking forward to having it fitted Carole

The whole experience of planning and fitting our new kitchen was made so much easier by having Wiktoria help us with the planning process, nothing was too much trouble for her and she was very patient helping us get things right. Our fitter Simon and his extended team were excellent. Again nothing was too much trouble and to see our new kitchen evolve was a good experience!

Appalling from start to finish. Bathroom measured incorrectly by sales person, sold incompatible products, completely misquoted for extra installation costs. Wrong products delivered, months to install an ensuite, bits of plastic no attached, no water pressure, sealant that a blind person with one arm could have done a better job with. They are ignoring all of my complaints and my warranty claim. DO NOT USE

We went to Wickes just earlier to buy a paint, we were assisted by one of their staff named Dan who was very accommodating, and friendly to us and our kids, he even let our son help with pressing the button on the paint mixer. We managed to buy what we needed and our son even said how nice of Dan to let him help. He was knowledgeable about the item we needed too. Very please and happy with our experience today.

Brilliant end to end service from selection , planning, measurement checks, securing delivery through to completion. So happy and will be back for the next rental kitchen we replace!

Fantastic service, compared to the experience I had with B&Q, Sarah was really knowledgeable and understood what we were looking to do, very open and clear communication on pricing and quality, couldn't fault the service we received superb all round and would recommend to anyone.

Went to upgrade our kitchen after existing 25+ year-old one was looking tired. Tried 5 different kitchen suppliers decided on Wickes having had very good design service from Sarah (Design Consultant) at Huntingdon branch. We had several visits to the shop after a home visit to finalise the design and finish of the kitchen. Appliances I purchased from an independent supplier. Sarah organised all of the component ordering and for an approved Wickes installer. 1st installer I did not like on his assessment visit so it was no hassle for Sarah arrange for an alternative installer who did an excellent job. The installer started on the agreed date and finished on time despite some items of the order not being included in the delivery at the start and a shortage of a key component at the end. There was meant to be a Wickes customer experience Co Ordinator assigned to manage hitches such as this in the process but I am afraid to say that the customer experience coordination is the one sadly lacking factor of the whole process. Any problems I had it was best to liaise directly with Sarah to sort even down to the removal of the old kitchen units 6 weeks after installation was complete. With the trash removed the installation complete any left over or spare standard components I was reimbursed for. I would, and have recommended Wickes to persons wanting a new kitchen.My new kitchen is stylish and well made and my wife and I are very pleased with it.

Freya was super helpful and very patients with us. She helped with payment issues and gift card processing, not making us feel unwelcome for paying with those. Thank you Freya !
