Wickes - Dartford Reviews 

Went to the Dartford branch for cobblestones for my garden. A member of staff called Frank was fantastic. He helped me load the bags on a trolley & came out to my car as they were really heavy. So grateful to Frank as it only took me 10 mins to get exactly what I wanted, thank you.

Always use the Dartford store and Matt always goes above and beyond. All of the staff and managers are very helpful and friendly so highly recommend this store

Always receive an excellent service from the staff at Dartford Wickes. On most visits I’ve already checked they have what I want in stock or they are always happy to suggest another store if it’s urgent!

Wonderful service from the staff at Wickes - Dartford. My husband and i were on a hunt for any form of relief from the hot weather and although we dont frequent wickes, we thought we would give it a go.

On arrival we felt very welcome and the store was very open and easy to navigate. Unfortunately we were unable to find what we were looking for.

Feeling defeated, we asked a member of staff (the young lady with tattoos) unfortunatley i didnt catch her name. She went above and beyond to help myself and my husband and managed to locate an air cooling unit for us. Not only did she check everywhere to locate it for us but she went a step further and also helped us to our car with the heay unit. Her willingness to help was more than appreciated by us oldies, especially in the heat we have been expereincing.

As previously mentioned we dont usually shop at wickes but customer service like that makes a real difference and is the reaosn we will be returning to dartford wickes. Thankyou!

I come to wickes in Dartford to grab a few last bits to finish a job. I was served by a very polite lady called Lauren who was also very helpful in guiding me to some things I couldn’t find!

The first of two projects we have with the Dartford branch and completed by Ted at Prestige as the installer.
All completed in the two week window and in the heat of a full on heatwave.
We had a large walk in shower by Merlyn and flush fit toilet by vita a kerala model as well as a Nexa malmo handbasin with Vena tap on a floor standing unit. The shower was a Mira Honesty.
Also a Pisa tall towel rail and an Altair ceiling light.
The wall panels were on three sides and all pure hydrolock terrazzo.
This replaced a old separate bath and shower and handbasin with open back toilet and standard small radiator.
Karen at Wickes Dartford designed the layout for us using information we said we wanted such as a clean sealed floor and toilet set up and a walk in full size shower with easy to use controls.
The toilet needed to be easy to use and the sink smaller but with storage.
We wanted to avoid tiles like our old set up and the wall boards were chosen from a good supply of samples in store that we could also see in place in a mock up.
We chose the floor with good advice on current new ideas on a good sealed floor.
We wanted a chrome radiator but we were given good advice about the drawbacks of chrome and opted for dark grey type to aid heat in the winter.
On the delivery day everything turned up on its time slots from wickes own team to the three different suppliers and messages and updates helped a lot with logistics in our home.
Ted from Prestige visited before to finalise the plans and provide a good quote for all additional works and gave some really good advice about the shower waste and how to hide the system from view as well as noticing issues with the original toilet water feed with the new set up.
He was very reassuring and we were able to get on with our day-to-day lives without too many issues.
We opted for a full seal from his suggested contractor and the finish was superbly done and I didnt realise that the colour choices made such a difference to the look. There are 4 different colours that blend so well with the items they contact with.
All works were clean and we could use the the toilet at night with no issues.
We can't wait for the kitchen which starts soon.

I am sorry to say i have never had an experience like this ,There was no introductions when we first arrived ,which i found incredibly rude and not a great start to our experience with wickes i was actually getting ready to walkout with in the first 5 minutes ,we are at the start of a full renovation of a 2 bed bungalow.it would have been nice if we was asked about what we wanted and wanted to achieve ,which never happened,it was so impersonal ,there was 2 clear screens (covid measures)between us and karen,there was a plastic barrier behind where we was seated leaning up against a partitition wall ,some wooden edging on the floor.A very poor introduction to wickes services which has resulted in us not wanting to pursue any further journey with wickes.I am sorry for the Blunt review but for some one who is looking to spend a lot of money for a kitchen.I believe in leaving good fred back for good service ,i very rarely leave negative feed back but in this case i feel i must .

Lauren was so helpful and polite, she made my experience at Wickes much easier. She put my mind at ease when I was looking unsure about a product

Had everything in stock when i popped in . Couldnt find one item, Lady called Tracy showed me where it was and helped me load onto my trolley.

As a customer of this store, Dartford is my favourite branch to the point where I'll forgo other branches in order to go there.

The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, I have recommended other friends and traders to Wickes over the time I've been a customer too.

We went into your Dartford branch for some paint. Even though the colour we were looking for is shown in your colour collection booklet the store was out of stock. To disappoint us even more was the staff weren’t interested in helping us until we asked, they were more interested in talking into their silly head phones to each other. The customers were confused as no one was sure if the staff were talking to them or to other staff members. All in all a very disappointing and at times confusing experience.

Went to wickes this afternoon and got everything I needed the till girl Lauren was very helpful and assured me of any help I needed and made sure I was set to go! Thankyou!

Use Wickes in Dartford frequently and I’m always pleased with the service. Ethan was really helpful on my last visit he knew exactly where the item was I needed making it a quick in and out

I use the dartford branch alot and always get the help and advice I need never had a bad experience there .
All the staff are very knowledgeable and quick to help .

I don't normally write reviews but all the staff are helpful at Dartford and especially liz she helped me find the right paint for my project.

I am a regular visitor to Wickes, particularly the Dartford store. The store layout allow easy access to products and are in obvious locations..
All the staff are knowledgeable on said products and helpful. On my latest visit I was served at the till by Lauren who found the cost for an unpriced product very quickly.

I don’t usually write these but felt that I had to today due to the superb customer service of Lauren at the Dartford Wickes.

Currently nursing a knee injury that limits what I can do and from start to finish Lauren was amazingly helpful.

Thankyou so much for helping me today including loading around 20 items in which some were quite heavy into the car.

Had what we needed and was cheaper than the other big diy shop. Clean, not busy when we went and the staff were friendly. Woman on the till Lauren was super helpful and lovely!

Everything I need is under one roof and the staff in the Dartford branch are excellent

Prices are excellent and the staff are amazing
