We were met in store when looking at kitchens by Andrew Lovlee who was helpful and professional. There were a huge range of options to consider and helpful advice was given at each stage including things we had not considered. Plans were clear and any ideas we had were used as a starting point and incorporated well.

The salesperson in the shop was very helpful and informative. She took the time to go through all the options with us and arranged an appointment for a member of the design team to visit, take measurements, and discuss whether we should proceed with a full refurbishment or simply purchase the products.

However, on the day of the appointment, a member of the design team called and asked about our budget. When we explained that our budget was less than £10,000 per bathroom, he did not seem particularly interested in proceeding, and the appointment never went ahead.

Based on my experience, unless your budget is at a level they consider worthwhile, there seems to be little value in speaking with the design team. The service in the shop was very good, but the follow-up experience was disappointing.

AJ was our bathroom designer he was extremely friendly, polite, very experienced, knowledgeable , helpful and able to offer us various ideas and choices .

We stepped into Wickes very confused at all of the options suggested by local tradesmen.

AJ didn’t rush us at all ,gave us the time and information we needed and we felt totally at ease throughout the process.

We used the Wickes installation team .
Jason refurbished/refitted our bathroom and was an absolute delight to have him work in our home and has carried out an amazing job.
We are extremely happy with the service and end result.

I had a fantastic experience with Gavin Hickmott at Wickes. He came out to our home the very same day to help with our cloakroom project, which was incredibly helpful and much appreciated.

Had my home visit by James Clark from the Colchester branch. Polite, professional and knows what he is doing. Came up with good designs, followed up with a meeting in store to finalise the details which was just as efficient. Had some good tips too as I am installing the kitchen myself. Highly recommend Wickes kitchens and talking to James

AJ was really switched on to what look and result we wanted and really took the brief as well as thought out of the box for great solutions. He was great! Our only quibble was the cost of installing as will have blank canvas to work in as bathroom being built to first fix so all pipes and electrics will be there ready no ripping out old stuff . A little disappointing they don’t discount for that part .

Extremely pleased with our new kitchen from Wickes. James Clark was excellent helping us design our kitchen and the installation team of Darren Watts were polite and extremely hard working, especially during an extreme May heatwave. Project managers checked in on the installation team and there were several follow up calls at the end to confirm we were happy with the result. I definitely recommend Wickes for a kitchen.

AJ helped with designing my kitchen and bathroom about 5/6 months ago. He took measurements and helped pick out the products in no time. Due to my circumstances I wasn’t able to move forward with the planned projects. Last week, I contacted AJ again to get moving on the kitchen project, he picked up right where we left off. We confirmed all the products and he took the time to ensure everything was still what I was looking for. I didn’t have to start all over again, and AJ made the process extremely easy! Can’t wait to see the designs come to life.
