Don’t use, horrible customer service

Subscribed to a monthly service and coffee was terrible. Unable to cancel the subscription on website so I contacted customer service. Received a response stating they cancelled it. I was charged for 2 more orders after it was supposed to be cancelled and never received any additional coffee. Called company and emailed several times with no response and was never refunded for the coffee that never came. Filed a complaint with BBB and they received no response either. I finally had to cancel my debit card in order to stop being charged. They are a scam

Never again


Why is delivering an order of coffee such a hardship for this company and their courier, DHL?

We have been buying coffee from Wholesale Coffee for a while now and they've been okay. Unfortunately, there's no choice about delivery. It can only be next day via courier and therefore it's expensive. And, as we have experienced in the past, not always reliable.

We were due a delivery on Friday 8 Nov but the courier, DHL, didn't turn up. They made an excuse about the packaging being a problem, "possibly". But either it is or it isn't a problem? They've just delivered today, 11 Nov and there's obviously nothing wrong with the packaging. However, they've only delivered half of the order. I suspect they have lost the rest ("possibly" no doubt).

This is the last time I will use Wholesale Coffee Co. They are not reliable. They are expensive and it's quite bewildering that they use only a courier to deliver.

Never again.

Have been OK in the past

Have been OK in the past. Am waiting for a delivery which should have been here today.

Called twice, was told I'd be called back, but didn't receive a callback.

Communication is not the best (no order confirmation email)

Great coffee. Poor customer service.

Great coffee and shade grown. Expensive delivery and I don’t agree with next day delivery for environmental reasons - but no other option. However, if I pay for it, I expect to get it. 4 days this time (previous orders were OK). customer service could be more responsive, but i did get my postage refunded (in the end).

Did not send £110 worth of product. Will not respond.

Have used them for around 2 years. Haven't had too many issues in that time. However, we made an order around 10 days ago, and £110 worth of product was not delivered. I have filled out multiple forms on the website. I've sent an email to the only address I can find. No response.

There's not a single other company that would get away with taking £110 and delivering nothing. Utterly ridiculous. No coffee, no refund. Nothing.

I was sent the wrong coffee I ordered …

I was sent the wrong coffee I ordered 3 bags of 1kg ARA and received 500g bags x 2 and I ordered 1bag of blue dragon 1kg and I received 3bags of unknown coffee as no description on any of the three bags.
This is the only time I have received the wrong coffee or items You cannot contact them I have contacted PayPal for a refund

Awful customer service

Coffee is good, but I don't expect to be charged £8 for overnight delivery and have it take 5 days to arrive. Maybe they mean overnight from when it is packed. No reply or acknowledgement of message sent via their contact form. Will not be using them again

Wholesale Coffee Company service

Wholesale Coffee Company. Excellent service. Had reason to email them via their contact page. Delighted to find a response the same working day - brilliant. Even better, agreed action was also DPD'd and came the following day. Definitely 5 stars from me.

Terrible service

Terrible service, Avoid this company. There are plenty of competitors who provide good customer service. Wholesale Coffee Co. can't be bothered. Was surprised to be charged shipping and tax at the very end without realising it. Immediately emailed them (as they don't have a phone no.) to cancel sale. 24 hours later they reply to say they "think" it's too late. Coffee arrived and I was charged. I emailed and asked return it for a refund one week ago. they haven't had decency to even acknowledge my email, let alone respond. Suggest you use one of the other of the hundreds of companies that do the same job but actually care for their customers.

Great product and service.

Ordered a variety pack, including decaff, which arrived the next day. Delighted to receive a free trial pack of tea bags with the delivery which was a very nice touch. The product is first class and good VFM. I have tried all the different varieties and enjoyed every single one and now my problem is which variety to order when I run out. Think I'll probably go for another variety pack.
