We went for lunch on Saturday.🥺
We went for lunch on Saturday.
The reservation was for 1 oclock.
We sat in the bar, we had a dog with us.
They had run out of beatroot! There is a supermarket across the road? They served, for £6 a tiny bowl of spinach with some grated parmasane grated over it.
The lamb chops ordered, they only had two left, should have been three. They did reduce the price for this. And did not charge for four coffees.
My steak needed to go back as it was far too raw. I asked for rare not blue.
The Monk fish ordered was overcooked and completely flavourless? The side salad with it was delicious.
The tuna carpaccio with watermelon was ok. Tiny tiny bits of watermelon.
Considering it’s owned and run by a food critic William Sitwell it’s so ironic. It’s not worh the money to be honest.
The staff were friendly though inexperienced, they did their best, but its lack of training.
It was very quiet for a Saturday and I can see why now. It’s not going to last long in f it carries on like this.
