I cannot recommend W.Hamond highly enough. Since buying my Wife's engagement ring ,and our wedding rings 8 years ago, the service we have received from all the staff at W.Hamond has been outstanding. Always professional and polite, they are friendly too, which is lovely. Our Whitby Jet rings still look beautiful, but my Wife's engagement ring needed resizing so we took it with us when we returned to Whitby to celebrate the eighth anniversary of our lovely Whitby wedding at the end of June. We popped in and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. They told us Michael, the jeweller, would be in the shop on the Friday, so if we came to see him, he would be able to resize the ring and if he was not able to do it that day, he would resize it and return it to us by post. We popped back in on the Friday morning ( the day before our Wedding Anniversary), at about 10.40, and once again received amazing service, then went for a cup of coffee. To our absolute amazement, just as we were finishing our coffee, (just under an hour later!), my phone rang and it was the lovely lady from W.Hamond to say that my Wife's ring was ready!! Michael the jeweller not only did a brilliant job, the ring fits perfectly again now, but also did it straight away so my wife could be wearing it again for our Wedding Anniversary the next day, which was just so kind and lovely and certainly made our special day all the more special. Sincere thanks to all the staff and Michael for their kindness and everything they did to help us.

I placed an order on 19th March, it is now 9th July and my order still has not been shipped. I am told each month to wait and see next month what the status will be. I’ve been told this for four months now and still no update on when my item will be shipped and no refund given. Do not buy from this website ever.

Excellent service bracelet arrived on due time. Price was excellent

I purchased a Junghans Watch Meister Fein Chronoscope Mega Solar for £1k back in May ‘24. The watch they sent was broke and didn’t work at all. The replacement (which took 3 months arrive) worked slightly better but was still faulty. They refused to believe me and I ended up having to claim via my credit card company. The whole saga took over a year. Horrific experience. Could not recommend less.

Bought a bronze figurine from their site. The pictures matched the item in the shape but the photos did not match the color of the item at all. It appeared more grey/pewter color. The item I got was black.

I reached out and asked if I got the right item. Their response - Yes. The pictures are just bad lighting. Hence the bad review.
