I wanna start by saying I enjoyed using…
I wanna start by saying I enjoyed using this app but they have done me pretty dirty.
I redeemed 3 Walmart gift cards total of $35. I never received them. Then when I went to see when I redeemed them everything linked to the cards had been removed from my history. Luckily I took screenshots, well because of this exact reason.
Support acknowledge that I didn't receive the gift cards and said after I verified they were never redeemed again. That is a lie because I verified before I redeemed them. Any who. They told me not to worry that they had added the points back to my account. They sent me pictures showing that they added the two $5 cards back to my account. Lol However they didn't even do that.
So I contacted them again and this time they added the $25 dollar card as well. But again they never showed up on my account. I contacted them multiple times with proof they were never added to my account. And all they say is that they were and then they quit replying.
Ill be posting all of this with the screenshot on reddit just to warn others.

I've been using this for almost a year and haven't earned enough to cash out. They don't calculate all of my steps. My watch will say 3000 but weward will only say 1000 steps. Now they have commercials. What a waste of time. Plus they put you in a league and the more you walk, the more they raise the point system. For instance, you get points after 1000 steps when you start but the more you walk, the more steps you have to walk to get points. And I don't even know what the cards do. It uses up your battery, although I have to say. It doesn't use as much battery as other apps. I was logging in every day and not getting any points. Terrible app. 13,000 steps and they calculated only 6,000

I've been a loyal Rewards app user for years, spending a long time building up enough steps to finally qualify for a cash reward. After missing previous opportunities because the rewards are limited, I finally managed to be online at the right time to claim it—only for the app to repeatedly fail because of a technical glitch.
Customer support confirmed the issue is on their side, but the only response I've received is to "wait for an update," with no timeframe and no solution. Meanwhile, I've lost the opportunity to claim the reward I worked so hard towards, and I don't even know when I'll get another chance.
It's incredibly disappointing that loyal users can spend years reaching this milestone, only to be let down by a system error with no meaningful resolution or compensation. An apology alone doesn't make up for a missed reward caused by a confirmed bug.
I hope the Rewards team takes responsibility, fixes this promptly, and offers affected users a fair resolution. No one should lose out on a reward they've earned because of a technical issue outside their control.

After a few months cashed out £15 and within 4 days in my account. My job involves up to 25k steps a day anyway so why not get a little extra all in all a good experience now onto my next £15

Inaccurate step count on some days.
I really like this app as it really challenges you but it is sometime accurate step counts and other days short of 2000 steps. It’s help me stay active and lose some weight. Otherwise it’s been working great.

Fraudulent deductions! They falsely accuse you to avoid paying out
Do not waste your time with WeWard. They are completely fraudulent when it comes to actually paying out large rewards. I saved up 7,000 Wards (about $100) and requested a bank transfer. They immediately canceled it and stole 2,000 Wards from my account under the false claim of "unusual activity."
Thinking it was a glitch, I tried withdrawing smaller amounts (4,000 Wards and later 2,000 Wards). Instead of processing my money, they hit me with another completely fabricated excuse accusing me of "manipulating geolocation data"—something I have never done. They have now drained thousands more of my Wards, leaving me with almost nothing.
Like many other reviews on here have stated, the moment you try to cash out a significant amount, WeWard creates fake violations to clear your balance so they don't have to pay. I am completely done with this app and demand that they return my stolen Wards and process my rightful payout. Avoid at all costs!

You can probably cash out £30 every 8 months or so. Only worth doing if you enjoy collecting the cards.

Regarding the weekly contests.Too many…
Regarding the weekly contests.Too many cheaters and people manipulating system to convert points seconds before weekly reset. I ve been cheated in consecutive weeks out of a weekly bonus due to contestants sandbagging their points less than 1 minute prior to the weekly adjust that did not give me time to respond and earn points to pull ahead of these contestants.
I have to give them 3 stars now because of the attentiveness to the situation which has been excellent.
However I cannot rate higher than this until some structural issues are modified especially with consideration given to heavy users that are the bread and butter of the weward ecosphere.
1.- the issue with users completing multiple chapters and not converting them until a minute prior to week closeout(e.g 10:59 pm Paris time) is cheating othera out of awards and is poor sportsmanship. Please modify the system so that once a chapter is complete the applicable 250 or 500 point bonuses are IMMEDIATELY applied Automatically. This would cut out cheaters from the system
2. Get rid of the repair jokers . They are useless for anyone at a moderate usage level or higher. Just eliminate them please.
3. A single card is not a 'pack'. Cut out the rarest card banner for opening a single card award. Better yet make the minimum award 2 cards. I get being parsimonious but c'mon.
That's all for now thanks for hearing me out.

I worked really hard to get 1000 WeWard…
I worked really hard to get 1000 WeWard points and then I tried to cash out for $10. Their app would not accept my email so I used a different email. I was told I would get the $10 via Paypal in several days. Instead, I got a letter saying that all of my points had been deleted and I was accused of manipulating my location. I have no idea how to even do that. I asked them what that meant and nobody responded, they just kept sending me generic form letters. I asked again and their response was that I needed to provide them with a certificate ($85) from the IRS to prove that I was paying taxes as a citizen of the US. And that only person's residing in the US could participate. I was told that I broke their terms and conditions and that they could not return the points to me. I'm not sure what's going on with this company, I thought it was pretty fun until they accused me of cheating and questioned my nationality. They Made me feel like a criminal. I was considering paying for the membership, but I'm definitely not doing that now!
Update....
Thank you Sophie for your suggestion. I did reach out to customer service and got this reply:
"As long as you are in the United States, you can use the app and take advantage of the money transfer and voucher offers. However, if you are located outside the United States, this is prohibited under our Terms and Conditions and may result in the suspension and permanent closure of your account.
Have a wonderful day.
🐼 Kintana from WeWard 🐼".
.... so only people living in the US can use WeWard... ok, got it.

I used WeWard for about 5 months and…
I used WeWard for about 5 months and earned every single point legitimately. Some days I only walked 500 steps, other days I walked over 25,000. I never violated the Terms of Service, used multiple accounts, or did anything that would justify disciplinary action.
For my final 150 points, I completed a game offer and even made an in-game purchase to reach the 1,000 points needed to cash out. When I requested my withdrawal, I was told it would take 1–10 business days for review. Several days later, I received an email claiming I had violated their Terms of Service and that "some" of my points had been removed.
In reality, ALL 1,000 of my points were removed, including points earned through months of walking and completing offers. No evidence was provided, no specific violation was identified, and no meaningful explanation was given. It feels like they waited until I was ready to cash out before invalidating my earnings.
After investing months of time and even spending my own money on an in-game purchase, having all of my earned points taken away without proof or transparency is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this app.

The app is entertaining BUT their customer service is terrible. The responses to queries are clearly just AI based and there is never a follow up from them to any complaints. The 'cards' in the game near where I live are on private land so inaccessible. I reported these through the app last year but nothing is done about it AND you can't report the same issue again because their system knows which locations youve reported...!! They say that Premium membership - which I've paid for - gets you quick response from customer service. Heaven help non Premium!!!

Good luck for cashing out your rewards with WeWard, you should rather use Macadam app where it's easier to get there. (Both earnings and cashing out)

I work nights and always get in over 3 to 4 thousand steps wrong I work, but I can't always claim my steps before midnight as I can't use my phone at work. You should be allowed to accumulate your steps if you are unable to convert them!!!!!!!!!!

Fraudsters
Fraudsters. Pure fraudsters. First, I played a game through one of their partners, which initially didn’t pay me. I literally had to email the company’s staff (not the not-supported customer service) and let them know that I would be filing CCPA and GDPR complaints against them if they didn’t credit me. I finally got credited and WeWard had no problem sending me $100 I earned from playing the game.
Later I received a bonus from the game and decided to cash out $5. WeWard accused me of fraud and deleted every cent from my account. Surprisingly they did not ban me. I’ve been a loyal costumer for almost a year now and this is how they treat people for no reason whatsoever. At this point I am happy to file CCPA and GDPR complaints against them for stealing from me. I hope the fines you get are worth the $5, you thieves!

I’ve used the app for about a year now…
I’ve used the app for about a year now and I must say “It motivates me to run and walk more which has benefits to my health .The app gives u what u call we wards which you can cash out to your account or it often has different charities u can donate to which is so fulfilling!!! It also runs a walk marathon for each week and it’s not only challenging but fun !! I do believe though alot of people cheat which can become very discouraging but I get over it that’s something they have to deal with themselves and question their integrity if that’s the case .The only thing I don’t like and the reason for 2 stars is they continue to take my money out of my account without my authorization. This has happen numerous times .I made a couple purchases for cards and since then they keep charging me for something every 2 weeks and I don’t k how because I have no subscriptions with them or reoccurring payment agreement with them.Ive checked my account serval times to make sure .The only possible explanation is they stored my credit card and charging at will .Besides that it’s a great app!!!
