Missing Pieces

I have been collecting coins for a number of years and, for most of that time I've been using Westminster. Their sales team are very friendly, never pushy and will always accept your decision.

Recently, I had to call as an installment of an ongoing collection had arrived with the envelope not sealed and the contents missing. The lady I spoke to checked their availability, and dispatched a replacement the same day (Wednesday). The replacements arrived within two days (Friday).

It's a great company to deal with, and I'll be sticking with them.

I got scammed like the rest of u I cancled my subscription months ago and they’re sending me letters saying I owe them money absolutely wild if they continue to harass me even though I have cancled time ago I will be getting them done for harassment also I went through the purchase very carefully the first time round there was no mention of a membership at all

Finally a decent reply.

Called Customer Service as yet again Westminster sent around 6 coins in one package and charged me over £20 for postage and packing. This was the second time they had done this and on the first occasion when I called i was told there was nothing they could do. However when I called this time to complain again the service was excellent and quickly sorted. A refund of almost £18 was issued. The girl was very good and it was sorted within minutes. Why was the first call not sorted in the same manner. Thank you to the lady who dealt with my complaint.

Beware unwanted subscription


Ordered one coin from them introductory offer. Checked my bank today to see they have taken £30 out for a family collection subscription I wasn’t even aware I had signed up too. Crazy thing is if you go into your account and subscriptions there is no sign of it!!! You need to be sent the first order for it to appear. £30 is a lot of money. I’ve now cancelled and need to go through ordeal of sending back once arrived. I would love to know if this works for them?! How many people see they’ve been unwillingly subscribed and think oh yeah £30 a month great keep me subscribed love that. Avoid.

Westminster Collection scam

WARNING! This company is behaving unethically. They prey on people’s patriotism, lure potential buyers in with “free” offers of poor quality products (badges, coins), then if you request the product they automatically sign you up as a subscriber and charge you later on for products they will send you that you did not request or want. This is all buried in the small print with lots of deep online clicks that most people don’t know about. Then when you ask them to unsubscribe you, the charge you for the product. If you don’t pay they threaten you with debt collectors. Watch out. It is a scam if not fraudulant.

Great company…

Small wait on phone but kept upto date on wait. Initial call handler was polite and helpful. He quickly passed me to the correct department. Again, a good experience. The man sounded genuinely cheerful and he explained everything and sent e-mail to again explain. Great experience.
