This is the 4th jacket I’ve bought from Wested. I’ve had got the Memphis belle, an Indie I bought for my brother, a Barbour’s style motorcycle jacket for my wife, and this, the ripley jacket. They are uniformly excellent and represent superb value. Highly recommended!
I love my jacket
I spent a long time thinking about which jacket to buy. In the end, I chose the Legacy Last Crusade Hero Jacket. It’s my favorite movie, and I love the buttons and the color of the zipper. The delivery was much faster than I expected, even though I ordered it on Black Friday.
I was a bit unsure about the size. I’m from Germany and usually wear a size 48, which corresponds to a UK size 38. However, based on my chest measurement, I needed a UK size 40. That’s what I ordered, and I also stuck with the standard sleeve and back length measurements from the size chart. I made the right choice because the jacket fits perfectly.
The leather is buttery soft, and the jacket smells amazing. I didn’t want to take it off on the first day because I loved it so much. Thank you for the fantastic work—I absolutely love my Indiana Jones jacket.

This is my third Raiders jacket from Wested Leather Co. Sadly, my last one finally had to be retired after 20+ years of rugged wear. Like the first two, my new jacket looks great and fits just right. I ordered the brown lambskin (I like to distress it through personal wear) and the extra inside pocket (very convenient). It arrived to the US more quickly than I anticipated.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Ordered a jacket, realised a few days later I needed it customised after getting a tailor to take my measurements for another item, and luckily (I thought) they hadn't shipped my order. So they offered to cancel it, so I could re-order. So I agreed. They slapped me with a £25 'admin fee' - bear in mind this isn't even a shipped item, just a cancellation of an order (like if I'd made it in error). Which I wasn't warned about, nor is it on their website. Then the 'customer service' rep was evasive and terse, gaslit me about the fee, and just seemingly couldn't give a monkey's or see why that would be annoying. You can tell this bloke (at a guess) is rubbish at dealing with customers. Made me question the company, and, looking at these reviews, I'm glad I did start to question. Won't be purchasing from them, as I now doubt the quality too. What is going on with the leather jacket industry in the UK? Just so much tat being sold, most of it knock off stuff from abroad. Trading standards needs to look into this industry, and the tanneries abroad being used because there is skullduggery at play.
Customer service 0 , avoid
After asking for help with sizing in a very explicit email where I said I measured my self but I’m not 100% if the jacket will fit me as I don’t know what pit to pit refers to and attached pictures of one of my jackets as reference with a measurements , I received a very helpful email telling me to follow the size chart and that’s about it .
I haven’t even received my jacket but I’ll return it as soon as I do .
Guys , when people spend 300-400£ in your shop they expect for everything to go smooth and for the seller to be helpful .Have you guys been in a shop recently? I would suggest you go sometime and get some lessons in customer service .

I bought a leather jacket a little while ago, and had the tiniest problem with the certificate (The jacket was amazing - and I wear it daily). The certificate was for the wrong jacket - but they confirmed this and now I have the correct certificate. That's the first good customer experience. The second good experience came soon after me ordering the jacket. I'd missed something off of the order (my mistake) and it was corrected within a few hours.
I have since ordered some boots that arrived so quickly is was a nice surprise. Boots are also excellent and feels like you're actually getting good value for money.
I have had very good discussions, getting advice and help from the Wested team - I can guarantee that this won't be the last time I order.
Superb Customer Service
Bought the Australian Duster full-length coat as a present, it is an absolutely stunning item! The size I ordered was slightly too large and, despite being a few days outside the window for returns, when I emailed their Customer Service department they were incredibly helpful and I was able to purchase the next size down and a received a full refund on the original purchase.
A thoroughly good experience from start to finish, and what a coat!!!

Ordered a jacket that turned out to be too big.
Turns out (as their site clearly says) size choice is based on size of your actual chest, not how big you want the chest of the jacket to be.

Returned the jacket, and customer service were very helpful and patient, especially as I wasted some of their time in getting the right one.
Also had boots from them in the past, and they were great then too.

Good Layer Cake jacket reproduction but slightly short in the sleeves and the red lining just shows outside one sleeve. Quite terse communication too when I wanted to change my order. The soft lamb skin although reasonable quality is a little thin and light so that the jacket doesn’t quite have the substance I feel it should but for the price point it’s to be expected.
Poorly packaged item...
Bought a hat for my son....£60...the packaging was abysmal, put in a carrier bag then put in a courier box which looked elderly and pre used..which was flattened by the couriers. it was not sturdy at all. the hat was squashed. i managed to reshape it before my son saw it but honestly...spending that much, these guys should make an effort on the packaging front. would not buy from them again.

All on time, all good quality and a very happy customer.
Spoke by email with the owner a couple of times before ordering the B3 Jacket just in case the size was wrong or didn't fit etc.
Everything is as described and perfect, the Jacket even fits like a glove.

BAD EXPERIENCE/CUSTOMER SERVICE/POOR ATTITUDE
Ladies Chocolate brown luxury Sheepskin slippers. Drop the luxury as this is not a clear description. I had to give 1 star or I would not be able to leave a review otherwise, it would have been NO stars. I duplicated my order by mistake and the company did not contact me by email to make sure this was correct. So I received 2 pairs of ladies slipper size 40. I did not like the slippers the quality was poor and had bad puckering on the toe front. Also the colour was not like the picture. I would not recommend the seller for the product, their very poor customer service and their attitude to my message to them. Very rude.
Parcel has gone missing!
I had expected this company to good as Indiana Jones is known all over the world.
I ordered a pair of boots for £128.50 - £8.50 for shipping - I was not in a rush for the order, so it is only yesterday I chase up my order.
It appears I paid for next day shipping and the parcel was left and photographed on my doorstep, my front door is open and exposed to the pavement and road 4 feet away, about 12.30pm the next day.
Being reasonable I asked the neighbours if they'd taken in any parcels recently, no joy! Neither to sort to lie or be deceitful.
I contact the Indiana Jones Store via email and then notice they have Live Chat help - I'm never sure if these are A.I. or not and given the recent news headlines approached with caution!- explaining the situation I get informed that the problem is not theirs contact the courier. I'll leave their name out at the moment because they are investigating the matter still. Indy Store then say I paid for next day delivery and refer to their T&Cs, this explains what companies they use for delivery, which states a signature is needed upon delivery, I explain that I haven't signed for anything and neither have my neighbours. Indy Store tells me that I opted for next day shipping and should have expected to be there for delivery, after a bit of back and forth with them they basically call me stupid, say they have refunded my payment and then stop Live Chatting!
Further emails this time blame me for going out to the shops and telling me I should have been constantly watching the tracking service and who in their right mind goes out when a delivery is due?
If I'd order an item of some considerable size, yes I would have stayed put, but for anything else I'd expect a card to say a delivery had been attempted please re-arrange for an agreeable time?
I am unhappy about their response which I found to be laying blame with myself and the courier and they negative attitude about my going out, if I had not been cut off so quickly, I may have been able to explain that I had to go out to get some food and medicine as I was experiencing symptoms of hypoglycemia as I am Type 1 Diabetic. Health is not something I like to speak about with strangers and it is only here that Imention it for the purpose of how badly I feel I've been treated by there service.
Apparently a refund is due within 3-5 days and any problem with that is down to my bank.
I had hoped for a nice pair of boots, but all I received was a negative attitude.

Poor customer service and…
Poor customer service and communications. Ordered jacket in May. Received email on 21 June 2023 saying order cancelled at my request. I didn't cancel my order so I sent an email querying this matter. Received email 22 June 2023 in which Wested now said THEY cancelled my order because they were not satisfied with the quality of the consignment of leather that had been delivered to them. A disappointing experience especially as the jacket was intended to be a birthday present for myself after a very difficult year.
Very high quality = great value
I ordered a suede jacket from Wested Leather and was impressed by its quality - I expected something like this to cost three times as much. The fit was as described in the size chart, which really helps with an online order. Although there were considerable import duties for EU buyer, I still think it's great value. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend Wested Leather.
Great Jacket, Beware of Risk
If you are ordering from out of the UK please beware with duties and shipping this becomes a very expensive purchase. I measured myself and ordered the Temple of Doom jacket. I live in Germany and it took 2 weeks to get to me which was surprising due to the normal 3-6 day delivery in EU. The jacket finally arrived and although it is beautiful the fit did not work for someone who normally wears a 42. The pockets are child size, TINY! (as the description noted) They cannot be used for anything as they are 3-4 inches. Entirely my fault. I decided to return it for the original Indiana Jones version, size 44. Thanks to Brexit the duties charged were 58 euros x2 since I returned and re-ordered a correct jacket. With the price conversion and shipping and duties I spent a total of almost 400 euros. Wested has a very strict return and purchase policy. Unless you live in the UK I suggest you read it carefully and understand with online purchasing of this type it there may be some risk. Although the lining is thin cotton, the jacket is well made and of very good quality. Wested must be the best place to purchase a leather jacket of this type anywhere in the world.

Sadly three stars as I’ve had mixed experience here.
First jacket I had was superb, I attended their showroom, was measured and said what changes I’d like. Apart from the sleeves not being shortened, all was good. Quick turnaround on correcting the sleeves and now perfect.
Second jacket was made exactly as I’d like.
Third… shame.
Attended, was measured, gave my requirements including having the sleeves tapered for a more contemporary fit.
Picked the jacket up, didn’t spend enough time checking it and realised that the sleeves hadn’t been tapered.
Then we had a pandemic, which took my mind away from such trivialities.
Fast forward to more recently, I contacted them and explain the situation, recognising that with over a year having passed they would not adjust it for free, only to be told that the showroom is now closed and the only adjustment they will now to do for anybody is sleeves shortening.
That really isn’t the response I would expect from a small business at a time where they are clearly feeling effects of the pandemic and had shut the showroom.
I made it very clear would’ve been happy to pay for the adjustment as I am a reasonable person and I believe in supporting small businesses, but when a small business treat a customer this way it’s very disappointing.
