Service is good. I just needed to be informed every now & then of the status of my credential evaluation. So I had to follow it up myself from my institution. Otherwise, they're good.

Easy and understandable. But I have to pay fee to WES and to concerned University i.e. Chitkara University. Double the fee charged from me.

They are cheaters

It is almost 1.5 months since I filed for a refund, have raised about 5 tickets and have called customer support about 7 times. Yet no one and I mean no one is bothered to reply, call back of refund my money! Customer care says they cannot connect me to the accounts department and will only raise a further tickets. Terrible service. Ref ID - B261YHCTMD

Total Lack of Communication from WES

I contacted WES on April 8, 2026 to find out how to request an additional evaluation report to be sent to a US college in order to enroll in a Master's program. I was told that, because my original evaluation was completed years ago, I had to wait 24-48hrs for the WES IT department "to connect the email address to that account" before I could order another report. Today is April 16, and I STILL haven't heard back! It's possible that, because of WES's total lack of communication, I will miss the application deadline and won't be able to begin studying in the summer semester as planned. As an Adult Ed ESL instructor, I have recommended WES to multiple students through the years; I certainly won't be doing that anymore!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I've been dealing with a particular issue with my evaluation (my university no longer transfers the documents electronically). I placed multiple support tickets to solve the issue. No good answer was provided. My application is currently inactive, and I cannot even request a refund without paying the reactivation fee. The customer service has zero desire to help. They just constantly demand money to look at any customer service ticklets, even ones that were placed before the account became inactive.

Treat them As if they are a Toddler with 0 comms skills and access to Secondary Institutions

I started my application well ahead of time. Prepared all the documents as instructed, uploaded redundancy documents (with dates of reception and origin) to help prove authenticity, and STILL had to email WES constantly to ensure they were moving the file ahead, and checking on the progress of my "Credential Evaluation".

This twice weekly emailing continued for 6 WEEKS before the situation finally got elevated to someone who could answer any questions and give a response other than "We apologize for the delay. Please be advised that your concerns have been forwarded"

You will feel annoying, you will feel silly, but you just have to keep holding them accountable for their promises or timelines. They will ignore your concerns, and they will give false timelines. You need to hit back with what they claimed and supply evidence that you have done what they required.

If i could never work with this company again i would be overjoyed.

Worst experience with WES

Worst experience with WES. It's been over two weeks since I submitted my application and sent all required docs through official channels. But there has been no update on it.

Even the customer support and support tickets are not responded to as well.

Not sure what's their refund policy. Might have to get the money back.

I have not received the credential…

I have not received the credential evaluation I need.
I initially requested the evaluation in July 2025, but then changed my mind about that university, where the first copy was sent, thinking I could reuse the evaluation in the future for my definitive MS program selection. Now that I have decided, I have been requesting an additional copy of my evaluation since January 2026, but my evaluation is not in the portal. I have reported this more than 20 times over these past 3 months without resolution.
When answering this survey, I want to select no, I have not received the copy that I need. I cannot even access the evaluation I paid for. This whole company seems like a scam, and I am seriously thinking about reporting this to NACES. This is really bad. I could not complete my enrollment for Purdue Global and had to start over my credential evaluation because I used the only sealed transcripts I received from my university with you guys. Completely unacceptable.

The worst experience! I do not recommend it at all.

I have been stuck on step 2 for almost 3 weeks. Both the university and I already submitted all the required documentation. Two weeks ago, I called to confirm if everything was correct and complete, and I was told that my case was under review and that I just needed to wait. I trusted that information and waited… which was clearly a mistake.

After two weeks with no progress, I contacted customer service again, and the experience was even worse. First, they told me my process had been canceled, and then, after “checking again,” they said it was still in progress. It is completely unacceptable to receive such contradictory.

When I asked how much longer it would take, the representative avoided answering my question and kept giving irrelevant responses. Finally, they told me that the university had not sent the documentation, which is not true, as the university had already confirmed that everything was submitted.

What was most frustrating was that when I asked why I was never notified about any issue with my documents, I was told that it was “my responsibility” to follow up. Of course I do follow up—I check the system EVERY SINGLE DAY. However, the system provides no alerts, no notifications, and no clear way to know whether documents have been received or if anything is missing.

This process is frustrating, disorganized, and a complete waste of time. The lack of communication, incorrect information, and unwillingness to properly assist make this entire experience unreliable and extremely stressful.

5 Months of Delays, Poor Treatment, and Concerning Signs of Discrimination

My experience with World Education Services (WES) has been extremely frustrating, stressful, and deeply concerning.

My reference number is 7185238.

My case has now been ongoing for over **5 months**, which is far beyond any reasonable processing timeframe. During this entire period, I have submitted all required documents, carefully followed every instruction, and responded promptly to all requests. Despite this, my case remains unresolved.

Instead of receiving meaningful assistance, I was met with a continuous stream of **generic, copy-paste responses** that did not address my specific situation. It repeatedly felt as though my case was not being properly reviewed at all.

What is especially troubling is the overall tone and quality of communication. The responses often felt dismissive and lacking basic respect or accountability. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns that **bias or possible discrimination may be affecting how certain cases are handled**, particularly when there are clear inconsistencies in responsiveness and treatment.

This situation goes beyond simple delays — it reflects a pattern of **unequal, unprofessional, and negligent service**. For an organization that plays such a critical role in people’s education, careers, and immigration processes, this is completely unacceptable.

If this issue is not resolved, I am prepared to escalate further through formal complaints and relevant oversight channels.

I cannot recommend WES to anyone expecting fair, timely, and respectful treatment.

Confusion about evaluation results

I am sharing this review because I am confused by the way my file has been handled.

For a previous course-by-course evaluation, WES concluded that my academic credentials were equivalent to a Canadian bachelor’s degree. However, in my recent ECA report, WES concluded that the same academic documents are not comparable to a completed Canadian credential.

What I find most difficult is not only the difference between the two conclusions, but also the lack of a clear explanation. I have already sent many messages and made several phone calls, yet I still have not received any meaningful update. Each time, I receive a generic response saying that my inquiry has been forwarded to the appropriate department.

At this point, I am simply looking for clarity. I would appreciate a clear explanation of this discrepancy and a proper follow-up on my file.
Thank you.

Very poor experience with World…

Very poor experience with World Education Services.
7093203.
WES completed my evaluation, took my money, and still failed to deliver the report. They sent it to the wrong address and then tried to justify it by saying my apartment number was missing. That is not true. My payment receipt clearly shows that the apartment number was included.

I paid for delivery twice. The last payment was on March 10, 2026. Nothing arrived. I contacted them many times and never got a proper explanation or a real solution.

I paid for a service and did not receive it. The customer service was ineffective, the communication was poor, and the problem was never properly resolved. I deeply regret using WES and would not recommend this company to anyone.

Choose another service.

Severe delays and disconnected system - Electronic transmission stuck for a month

I am extremely frustrated with WES. My university sent my official degree certificate and academic transcript electronically via their established digital channel on March 16, 2026. It has been nearly a month, and my dashboard still shows "Not Received".

When I finally got a response from customer service, the agent claimed they received my degree certificate, but completely ignored the transcript that was sent in the exact same electronic file! To make matters worse, my dashboard hasn't even updated to reflect the certificate they admitted to having. Furthermore, you cannot reply directly to their customer service emails, forcing you to start over with a new web form every time.

The lack of synchronization between their customer service and the actual system is unacceptable. You pay for a service that claims electronic transmission is faster, but it gets stuck in their internal backlog with no transparency. I urgently need this evaluation for my immigration case and I am stuck in limbo because no one is manually checking the electronic files properly.
