Great for all cheese lovers
I found the company were very easy to deal with. Their website was very clear and gave plenty of information on each cheese. My order was delivered in quick time and very well packaged. All told the experience was good and one I will definitely make again.

Fantastic service and great cheese

Parcel was delivered by DHL and left…
Parcel was delivered by DHL and left for 7 hours in a wheelie bin on a very hot day. It was a new mum hamper for my daughter who loves cheese! Unfortunately she was unable to eat it as the chiller blocks had defrosted, and being a new mum, she didn't want food poisoning. I contacted the company and 2 days later, a brand new hamper arrived for my daughter. Excellent service as it wasn't their fault but that of the delivery company.

Fantastic cheese hamper but let down by delivery company who, despite being asked to allow time for recipient who has mobility issues just tapped on a window and roared off leaving the cheese on the step on a very hot day. They have failed to respond to my concerns. Need to change your delivery company, they are damaging your reputation

I'm very sorry to hear that the delivery driver didn't allow time for the recipient to get to the door as instructed. That's not the service that we expect from DHL. I'm going to take this up with our account manager straight away.
Thanks for letting us know though. We'll be very happy to put this right in whatever way we can. Would you like us to send a replacement hamper if any of the cheeses were compromised by being left outside?
We've used all of the major delivery companies over the years (other than the very cheap ones) and to be honest we find that DHL offer the most reliable service, but sometimes their drivers let them down, and it's always very frustrating when this happens. We pass every example like this back to them to let them know where their local service needs to improve.
I'm very glad to hear that you're pleased with the hamper, but apologies again for the issue with the delivery. Please do get in touch with us directly if we can do anything else to put this right for you.

Ordered cheese for our wedding - disappointed
Ordered cheese for our wedding, but there was confusion over the use-by date due to unclear printing. Although it was confirmed to be in date, it caused unnecessary stress at an important time.
Customer service also felt quite dismissive, which added to the frustration. Overall, I’m disappointed with how the situation was handled.

I’m sorry to hear that you felt disappointed with how your concerns were handled after the many emails we exchanged over the past couple of weeks. Having reviewed everything carefully, I’m genuinely unsure what more we could reasonably have done.
Your Little Celebration Cake order was delivered as scheduled on 21.05.26, in time for your wedding the following day. After receiving it, you contacted us regarding the best before date label on the 500g Blue Wenallt cheese included in the cake. While the cheese was dated 27.06.26, there was a slight imperfection in the printing of the “06”, and you queried whether the label might instead read 27.05.26.
We responded within 30 minutes to reassure you that the label read '06' and immediately offered a replacement if there had been any error. To provide further reassurance, we also sent photographs of labels from the same batch and comparison images showing the printed numbers more clearly.
When this still did not reassure you, we arranged for Hannah from Brookes Dairy, who makes and labels the cheese herself, to phone you personally and confirm that there was no issue. All of this took place on the same day your order arrived, which is why I’m disappointed that our response has been described as dismissive, as we worked hard to address your concerns as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
As you mention in your review, we confirmed there was no issue with the date. Even had the cheese been dated 27.05.26, as first suggested, it would still have been within its best before date for your wedding on 22.05.26.
Despite the extensive steps we took to reassure you, we also issued a refund exceeding the value of the cheese in an effort to resolve the matter.
We are always keen to learn and improve, and while we are certainly not perfect, we care deeply about customer service. If there is something specific you feel we should have done differently, I would genuinely welcome that feedback.
