Behind their "young and friendly community approach" lies a big trap...
First of all, the price of their renting is definitely not student-friendly. The flat will be barely furnished (no broom, no mop, the minimum of cutlery, etc), and with only first-prices appliances that will break. Therefore, I'd say that the hassle of finding something else is worth it.
Then, after months with (amongst others) unattended WiFi issues, an unrepaired water leak and others, here is the core of their strategy: the checkout.
At checkout, they will attempt to make you pay for stuff that weren't even there when you arrived. Also, they will make you pay triple the price of the bed laundry they will change !!
I was aware of this scam because they also tried to pull it on my previous roommate so I anticipated and changed these myself. What a surprise it was when I still received a checkout bill that included the stuff that I had already changed in advance, and for 3 to 4 times their original price. As an example, they are trying to charge me for the pillows that I left still in their brand new package before leaving !!
Another scam (that I've seen mentioned in some Google reviews so I guess it's not the first time they do this one), is to charge you absurd amounts for cleaning stuff that were already clean when you're not there. For us, it is 240€ for a fridge+oven cleaning....
To sum it up, this company is just trying to take as much money as they can from students/youngsters, and especially non-French ones who will not know how to defend their rights and use the law to protect themselves.
