I googled shr to find out more of what…

I googled shr to find out more of what they are and how they operate .you can't complain to them about your housing associations ,that's the job of spso who in my experience pass the buck back to landlords discretion who the deal with your serious complaint not to be upheld by spso so that does not go to the shr to look at or what ever .it's a racket corrupt as hell .

Disgusted

Corruption was rife and lots of back scratching, no tenants with half a brain trust them, the other half are really really disgusted. but stuck in their situation.
I believe they could do A lot more for the LOCAL Community but the offer a pittance to local community projects .(local being key word here)
they cannot even deliver the upkeep of the back closes and front doors, they charge you over £10 if you lose a fob. that's a week electricity or gas and heating for their kids.(or a buzzer to access close) or buzz neighbor (and become a pest)
sad considering WHA was once a local community HUB and influential contributer to local charities to help the local poor in the community, one of there flaws was moving from a non profit society to a huge profit making LTD no doubt people Will be lining their pockets . thats fair if they are doing good work and holding to account those who dont, (where is wellhouses transprency) all board meeting paperwork available or minutes of all meeting and all data on EHICR. when asked about such things or even simple things like data protection manager they had not the slightest clue who or what that was, as they were under the GOVT regulators the information commissioner found they had to comply as a RSL under direct management from GOVT DEPT.
so where are the STATISTICS
what does thia tell you.
they were conflicts of interest between both boards of management the housing and the hub, bad practice , i could got on an don, but is there any held to account ,NO joe williamson and the rest walked away with a decent paypacket.
scunnered then you as us to trust you , u put honesty and integrity as your moral charter, this makes me laugh out loud.
Please sort it out.
finally they steal items like kids sledges and xma tree from your close and dump it withouy a letter or without a couple of visits, mentioning it would have to move nothing !!! they move it and dump all my kids xmas decorations tree (fibre one) tinsel stockings more tinsel and lights for hall even a sock for dog.
they accept it was wrong they ask you what its gonny cost to replace i explain 1 or 2items are ex wife dead aunties and irreplacable, but fairs fair i though £400 was reasonable after consulting with my lawyer he agreed.
but no the housing decided to half it, to £200.
a joke, she told me the housing had no budget for these sorts of things, i also informed her neither did i living in one of the worst poverty sticken schemes i britain.
so no i dont much admire them, thy also have regulators in as well for numerouse breaches
sooner its cleared out the better

Have the scottish regulators in for financial mismanagement ETC ETC ETC.

Been a Tenant for a long time, i say them because it was meant to be tenants on the boards of management / managing etc etc , but they started as a charity and now are a cash making business.
recently they have had the local scottish housing regulators in for all sorts of financial mismanagement to bungs for work and contracts etc.
only time actual SHR has had to go into a Reg social landlord and take over their management because of financial skullduggery.
steer clear if you can.( still want to know why no one was even charged with this) or why no regulator chasing for accountability.????
but hopefully this will shine light into their DARK CORNERS.
