Marked item from new.
Purchased an item in July 2023 which was marked, contacted the main UK supplier. I was asked to supply a photograph showing the mark.
They agreed to replace the item if I took back to place of purchase. I explained that this was 70 mile round trip. I was then told that I could take to any local store for exchange.
When I agreed to do this, they then said they had non in stock, and that I would have wait 3-4 months for a replacement.
