Please Read Before Trusting This Company

I invested over $12,000 in December 2022 with Wealthy College Kid (WCK), run by Christianna Hurt, for what was advertised as a fully managed, automated Amazon store. I followed every step and instruction they gave me, signed the contracts, wired the money promptly, and gave them access to set up the account trusting they would deliver on their promises.
But they didn’t! I never received my LLC or tax exemption paperwork. Inventory was mishandled or never listed properly, communication was inconsistent, and eventually my Amazon account was deactivated due to policy violations I wasn’t even made aware of.
Despite everything I paid, I did not make a single penny in profit. After over a year of frustration, I requested a refund. It took months to get a response, and when a refund agreement finally came, it was for FAR less than I had invested (I was offered $7,000 refund) and to be paid out in monthly installments of $97.72 over 72 months. The payments were late, short, and eventually stopped altogether. After numerous requests, I never received a final signed copy of the refund agreement either.
This experience has left me emotionally and financially wrecked. Please do your research and proceed with extreme caution before doing business with this company.

This company is a SCAM

This company is a SCAM, please save your money! I have lost over $11,000 putting my trust in this company to run an Amazon and EBay store. I believed the false reviews that WCK had and received nothing in return. I reached out to the on numerous occasions regarding the status of my stores with absolutely no progress. My Amazon store was suspended after the first month after launching. I waited over a year and after numerously being told they were working to get it back up I accepted that I was scammed. The eBay store also did not make one sell. I waited on both to produce some type of result, but was only given the run around. After repeatedly asking her so called company store managers for answer I got no response, so I reached out to Mrs. Hurt requesting a refund. She read the message and didn’t bother to respond. This company is clearly taking peoples money with no intentions on providing any real service.

I have been reached out to regarding a resolution and have been offered a partial refund. After signing a refund agreement I have yet to receive a payment. The first payment was supposed to be April 21,2025 but have been given the run around since. I have reached out on numerous occasions trying to see when I would receive a payment, but still waiting as of today 05/27/2025.

Our records show that your purchase was made over 60 days ago, and during that time, we met twice a week, every week. Each session was recorded for accuracy, with call durations ranging from 11 minutes to over 45 minutes.

In preparation for the conclusion of your program due to the founder's pregnancy, we sent out a 60-day notice covering the final 16 sessions to ensure we addressed all of your needs and questions. Additionally, we provided access to a second educator who hosted sessions every Friday. While you attended only two of those, the sessions you joined lasted between 1 hour and 12 minutes and over 2 hours.

We document all call durations and make consistent efforts to communicate and support you—whether that means helping you transition to new platforms, providing additional resources, or offering products that can further your success.

We’re here to support you in whatever way is most beneficial.

Scammed

I’m yet another freshly scammed customer of WCK whose owner has a horrible attitude and is very deceptive. She’s deceitful as to who can benefit from the “course” and gaslit me for a full month that she would send my money back and never did. Even went as far as saying she’ll send the proof of refund TWICE and never did. Then proceeds to remove me from the WCK platform after taking my money. So what exactly did I pay for if you kicked me out? BEWARE! (Yes I have proof of EVERYTHING!)

Fraud

In December 2023, I paid WCK and by extension their CEO C.H. $10,000 for their automation service (for Walmart, Amazon and Ebay).

From the start,I should have known something was wrong because there was NO communication on their platforms. I had to send so many messages just to even get started. Finally, after creating my Amazon and Ebay. stores, she asked that I pay for goods for amazon and i paid $5,000.She said the goods will arrive in about a month's time. A month came and there was nothing. I sent her messages and she said the goods had been sent and it would take another 14 or so days. After about 30 days when there was no communication, i sent her another message. She said just another couple of days. As you might have guessed, a couple of days came around, nothing. Crickets.

So I sent her another message, this time she said there was a flood at her warehouse that had affected the goods. I honestly trusted her and felt sorry for her but my question was, if the products had been sent over 3 months ago, why would the flood at your warehouse be my problem? The obvious answer? She had never sent the goods out. She had been lying all along. I thought to myself that things happen in business and she's probably having a hard time communicating to her clients (I was wrong, you should NEVER lie to your customers) what's going on. To date, I haven't got the items - not one.

They started working on my Ebay store and after about 2 weeks, the account got suspended. This was because customers had logged countless complaints about damaged goods that they never responded to. I had to refund the customers. She said she will pay back what I had refunded but again she never did.

She then asked that i create a new account with a new EIN or new information. The only logical conclusion was to use someone else's information which i believe would be illegal. Also, I had registered an entirely new business for this which had cost me a lot of money so registering another one was out of the question. But even more puzzling was the fact that, managing the stores (including restoring suspended stores) was part of their job. She sent me over to speak with someone on her team who very evidently, didn't know anything about my store even though she said she had spoken to him and he was aware of how to proceed.

I've lost so much money keeping the registered LLC compliant and up, paying for shopify subscriptions she asked me to sign up for amongst others. They've now deactivated my account on WCK Automation Team with no heads-up. What WCK is doing to people is fraud and they must be stopped by the law.

After messaging her over and over, she said she was going to pay me about $200 over 6 years. 6 years!! To pay me $200 over 6 years for money I had paid her in a one-time deposit is completely ridiculous. That is completely unacceptable and when i made that clear, she stopped responding (that was about 5 months ago).

After reading so many reviews, i see that this is a script she has used on many others. It is completely wrong and the law should not allow such a business to exist any longer in our society. It looks like she takes your money and just lives her life with it. That's a NO!

I've lost so much. I need my $15,000 paid back in full and in 1 month.

UPDATE: Upon further research, you can also submit a case on Federal Trade Commission (FTC) website for fraud. Please do it so that we have a bigger case and they can shut this business down!

I'm considering filing a class action lawsuit so that every victim of this company can be reimbursed not just for the money but for all the emotional stress she has caused. If you are interested, please please let's get together and do this. You can reach out to me on cityfindsmarket at gmail dot com. Please, please send me an email.

UPDATE:
WCK tried to flag my review as defamatory and get it taken down but as you can see, that didn't work.
I've recently been contacted by a couple of other people who have been scammed too and we are gathering steam. There's a group on FB called Victims of WCK. If you can, please join that group. There's apparently been over 300 people who have been scammed. You're not alone. Let's do this together.

Wealthy College Kid Automation Store: No Profit, Unfulfilled Refund Agreement, and Review Removal Request

UPDATE TO WCK RESPONSE:
WCK, I appreciate the response, but it still doesn’t address the fundamental issue: you failed to deliver the service as outlined in your contract, and now the refund process is just as flawed as the program itself. The service I paid for did not meet the expectations set by your own agreement, which constitutes a clear breach of contract. That alone justifies a full refund, not a dragged-out negotiation.

You claim the program ended in November 2022, yet internal communications from December 2024 stated the automation service was officially ending in 2025 due to compliance concerns. If the program ended in 2022, why were updates still being sent nearly two years later? The exact date isn’t the issue—what matters is that you continued engaging with customers well beyond 2022, making this timeline misleading at best.

More importantly, the refund process has been a mess. I first requested a refund in April 2024, and the initial offer was only 35% spread over 82 months—nearly seven years to be made whole. That’s not reasonable by any standard. After months of back and forth, we supposedly agreed on a 75% refund, yet I never received a finalized agreement to sign. Then, when I followed up on December 19, 2024, I was ignored for nearly a month. It wasn’t until January 17, 2025—after my reviews went public—that I finally received a response:

“Do you want to keep the reviews, or do you want a refund?”

This makes it seem like my refund was contingent on removing my review, despite the fact that I had been waiting months before ever posting anything publicly. I didn’t want to go public—I just wanted my refund. But after being ignored for over a month after my last follow-up, what other option did I have?

Consumers have the right to share honest experiences, and any attempt to tie refunds to removing reviews raises serious legal and ethical concerns. WCK flagged my first review for defamation, but Trustpilot reviewed and reinstated it, confirming that my statements did not contain “harmful or illegal content, such as defamation.”

The timeline of your services is irrelevant to the core issue: I paid for a service that was not delivered as promised, and I am owed a full refund.

At this point, there is no room for delays, conditions, or vague responses. I am requesting a full refund immediately.

——————————————————-

Submitted Feb 1 2025:
I signed up for the Wealthy College Kid automation store program in February 2022, expecting to generate income. However, despite nearly three years of participation, I did not see any profit. The service officially ended in December 2024.

Refund Process

I initially requested a refund about eight months ago. The first offer presented was 35% spread over 82 months, which I found to be an unusually long timeframe. After further discussions, we appeared to settle on a 75% refund, but I have yet to receive any confirmation or payment. The company has stated they are waiting for me to sign a refund agreement, yet I have never received such a document.

Concerns Regarding Reviews and Transparency

After sharing my honest experience in a review, my initial post was flagged and removed from public view by WCK. Around the same time, the company just received a sudden influx of multiple five-star reviews within a short period. Additionally, I was informed by C.H. that my refund was contingent on removing my review, despite already waiting nearly a year for resolution.

While the company has stated that this service is no longer offered, my experience with it has been ongoing, and I am still awaiting confirmation of any finalized refund terms.

This review is solely intended to share my personal experience with this service and the refund process I have encountered. I hope it provides clarity for others considering similar programs.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that this program ran from 2020 to November 2022. Due to certain challenges, we made the decision to discontinue it and offered refunds to affected participants.

We fully respect your decision to keep your review up. As part of the original refund settlement, a non-disparagement clause was included. However, we acknowledge and appreciate your transparency.

Additionally, we have recently experienced an influx of reviews originating from Pakistan, stemming from extortion attempts by an Upwork provider since June 2024. In response, many verified customers have now shared their experiences to ensure balanced representation.

We remain committed to resolving any concerns and honoring our refund commitments. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
