If I could give zero stars I would. First time ordering, furniture came in damaged box, missing hardware... weeks to resolve. Customer service started off very responsive, but then stopped respondin... See more

Terrible customer service and even terrible shipping service. They keep giving excuses for not shipping the item.
the quality of items/sellers are getting worse by the minute, as is wayfair's customer service. save yourself the time and money and go shop somewhere else. I recently bought 6 items all of which was absolutely garbage, customer service was nonexistent. and every time they said they would get back to me they never did. I had to spend hours trying to reach out to them to no avail.
I had placed an order with Wayfair Canada. Everything seemed fine, until I received an email informing me that half my order had been cancelled and a refund issued. When I called customer service all that was explained to me was that they were out of stock of the item. They didn't give me any kind idea of when it was going to be re-stocked and they seemed to not care. After asking again about when the item would be in, they offered me the standard customer service 10% discount on my next order. This is my first time using Wayfair, and I don't want to use it again. I have had all my orders cancelled and now I have to search for the items from another business.
Wayfair. You lose buddy!!! Your prices have gone up for the exact same furniture we can buy anywhere from Temu to Amazon, Yet you choose to charge 4x -5x the amount these items can cost elsewhere. I'm beginning to think your store is a cover up for something bigger. You won't last much longer. The only reason you're still in business is because you charge your old custys who think they're getting high quality items for a high quality price tag. Thats it! I wish I can upload a photo. I did comps of a few items compared from here and Temu and here and Amazon for couches, tables, desks and lamps. Everything essentially costs more here. Shop around and you'll see too.
Worst experience ordered a bed on Feb 5 they shipped one part of it two weeks later then the other part no update delivery time kept changing when I called them they gave me a 10% off on the next order that I won’t use tbh the customer service representative was rude and cancelled the order upon asking why the days kept changing.
I continue to get defective products from Wayfair. It is costing me a lot of money and hassle. They ask you to directly contact the company yourself when you encounter a defect.
Very disappointed with the customer service. I requested a simple address correction before shipment and was sent back and forth between Wayfair and FedEx. In the end, I had to cancel and was charged 40 dollars for something that could have been resolved easily. Not a good experience.
Worst and most dishonest customer service ever... they are not far off fraudsters. Their customer service team could easily get jobs an Nigeria scamming call centers, as it would be a smooth moral transition for them.
DO NOT BELIEVE A SINGLE THING ON THE WEBSITE AS IT RELATES TO WARRANTIES OR DELIVERY TIMES OR GUARANTEES.
Again, awful review here. Never on time with orders, delayed with no help from customer service other than them telling you to wait longer. Business owners go somewhere else, you cannot rely on them to deliver on time.
Wayfair sends you crap like it’s from the dollar store, and then you have to pay for the return.
I placed an order during Wayfair’s winter clearance sale for a bathroom vanity at a discounted price, along with three additional items meant to complement the vanity. To my surprise, Wayfair cancelled only the vanity, claiming they would not honor the advertised sale price. The frustrating part: they refused to cancel the other three items, which I didn’t even want without the vanity.
This inconsistent and confusing handling of my order, combined with poor communication from customer service, has left me very, very disappointed. The sale was misleading, and the company failed to address a reasonable request.
THIS IS A DESPICABLE AND LYING COMPANY. GOD FORBID YOU HAVE TO RETURN SOMETHING,…..THEY GAVE ME THE RUNAROUND FOR 8 DAYS, 3 CALLS TO THEM, THEY KEPT PROMISING THIS DEFECTIVE RUG WOULD BE PICKED UP AND REFUNDED. OF COURSE THIS WAS JUST A LIE. PAYPAL IS TAKING CARE OF ME WITH THIS. ALSO, SHIPPING IS NOT FREE!!!!! IT IS ALL ADDED TO THE EXAGGERATED COST OF THE ITEM. BE WARNED.
Multiple price same page wayfair site the delivery disaster the color of the item doesn’t even looks like and they don’t care once you purchase it no customer service
Their price adjustment policy is archaic. We are moving to a new place and are completely furnishing the whole apartment. We ordered a rug, and a few days later, it’s $60 cheaper. I tried reaching out to see if we could get a credit or something, but no. If we rejected the shipment, they would refund us minus the return shipping fee. First and last time shopping here.
Ordered 6 chairs received a dining table. Experienced problems from the time I ordered the chairs i.e. did not receive confirmation of order, credit card charged immediately, followed up with Wayfair to get confirmation with no success, order arrived on date specified when order was placed but shipment was not what I ordered. Tried resolving mistake with no success. Contact person had no way of tracing the order but Wafair knew how to take my money and ship wrong order to correct address. I was instructed by Wayfair that my only option was to follow-up with my bank. Lost $435.67. Wayfair knows how to take my money but won't provide details on what I ordered.
Been a loyal customer of Wayfair since 2012 I’d probably spent no joke close to 100 grand and purchases over the years from moving furniture decor, etc. I ordered from my local country site because then you avoid taxes and fees however I ordered an arcade game only because the price was so good compared to what I could’ve bought locally until I got the FedEx import fees, taxes, duty, etc. I reached out to Wayfair five times at customer service escalated it to their manager so they told me to get back to me and agreed that it was not fair that I would have to pay these because it wasn’t made public contacted the shipper as well and they said it was fault of the company because they did not have to vote this item the way they did so that I am all of these fees anyway it’s a joke. They didn’t do anything about it. I had to pay the import fees. I actually wanted to return the item strictly on principal and I was not allowed to, so beware they’re not who they used to be and they’ve lost a very valued customer who has spent a lot of of her hard earned money over the years.
We are remodelling our three bathrooms so I ordered three vanities from Wayfair. I ordered all the same style because I wanted them to all match. I purchased them during their Boxing Day sale so I got a good price on them but still costed me over $2000. They took forever to arrive, 5 weeks to get here and one arrived severely damaged. The drawer is completely caved in and there’s a huge chip in the vanity. It looks like someone hit it with a forklift. I called Wayfair and sent a picture of the damaged vanity and asked for a replacement. The lady tells me that the colour I ordered it in is no longer available, but there are other colours still available. So I asked her just to send a replacement in another colour but she said nope they are not willing to do that. She said all they’re willing to do is to send me a refund and then I can reorder it in a different colour but it’s not the sale price anymore. So it would cost me an additional $1100 now to ordered a new one. If it had arrived in a timely matter like it was supposed to, it may have still been in stock in the colour I ordered it in and I could’ve got a replacement. Instead all they would do is send me a refund but now I’m stuck with a damaged vanity that’s not repairable. I now have to pay someone to pick this vanity up and take it to the dump for me which will probably end up costed me $400-500 because the vanity is extremely heavy. I’m incredibly disappointed in Wayfair. I was going to order a bunch more items from them for our remodel but nope never again
If I could give 0 I would. I have ordered couches, lights, bookcases, bed frames from the old Wayfair. When it wasn't AI run. The whole business is a joke now, now that the CEO is back on the billionaire list.
The businesses and "custom made" inventory they are allowing to sell on there is like millionaire temu. $5000 for an AI couch. $4000 for an impossible table.
Dealing with Wayfair was a real chore. I ordered 2 bamboo fences June 13.
The order disappeared into the ether. I checked and found it was received and was hovering at Mississauga, at 1:16pm Friday June 27, 2025. It never moved. I finally contacted these people to see what was happening and some lazy person told me to call back in a day or so. I called back; same runaround. Finally, I called July 7 and got someone that seemed to know how to treat a customer with a Wayfair caused problem. It’s no wonder Wayfair only has only a 2-star customer rating, nationally. She was good enough to reorder the original order. I received one of the fences July 9 and was told the 2nd same item will be delivered by July 22. What a waste of time.
The product, from seller MGP, received was not as advertised. It was falling apart due to a poor workmanship. The slats were too far apart [up to 1 1/8”] and not as advertised. I had to tie it to keep it together. The slats were falling out of their wired sleeves. The fence smelled of mold. The wire was painted and not nylon coated, as advertised. It easy to scrape off with a fingernail. They claim ‘semi-opaque’; nonsense. They lied. In fact, the slat spreads are so far apart that, unlike their advertised picture, you can see everything and anything thru the fence. Some bamboo slats were ½” wide while others were ¼” or 3/8” and not as advertised.
The second duplicate item finally came, on July 21. It was exactly as described above; however, this one was actually 1/3 covered mold on both sides.
This was my 1st and last order I will ever make with Wayfair. Wayfair does not compare favourably with any other online company that I deal with.
These fences were junk. I do not recommend.
Dealing with Wayfair – I do not recommend.
⭐ 1 Star – Misleading Product & Bad Return Policy
Ordered a coffee table listed as white, but received an off-white/dull one. Completely misleading.
Tried to return it under the 30-day policy and was shocked to see they charge $28 for return shipping, and I still have to drop it off myself. Charging customers to return a wrongly described item is unacceptable.
Very disappointing first experience. Will not order again.
