Waves Car Wash Reviews 

Was quoted £25 today at Tesco Eastbourne for a basic exterior wash. He was either trying to rip me off or getting his English numbers mixed up.

We were at the Lewes location and got the Big Kahona service with the interior with the trunk today 8/8/26 in the afternoon and upon arriving the gentleman taking us in was very pleasant but the gentleman directing us to the proper lane was less than. Pleasant and when the car was finished and I asked about the tire shine he pushed past me, entered my car abruptly and said the Kahuna does not get the tire shine and turned and walked away. I understand now that I need to ask for the tire shine the next time but this particular what appeared to be the crew supervisor needs to lose the attitude. First time in 5 years coming here we were treated this way. Ver t bad for business.

Always use the Waves Car Wash at Tesco in Fareham. Liam and his team are very friendly and welcoming and make my 6 year old Dacia gleam like new, especially if I pay extra for the liquid polish treatment. Usually drop car off to go shopping and it is almost always ready if I go back after 40 minutes. Been using them for years and I consider the service to be top notch. I am, frankly, surprised at some of the negative reviews I see. 5 stars in my long experience of using Liam's team.

Thought it would be a premier service for that price, I was wrong. I usually pay £20 at my local car wash but thought I would give them a try. Waste of money car was still dirty in places. Don’t waste your money

Absolute rip off. Advertised at £40, then charged £55 or I wouldn't get my keys back. Wrote to customer complaints and got told they had charged the right amount, when very clearly they hadnt. Tesco Highwoods Waves - avoid like the plague

We went to Bedworth Car Wash at Tesco's. They provided an exceptional valet service, including a roof treatment. The cars roof required six washes to achieve the desired cleanliness prior to the application of the treatment, demonstrating a remarkable commitment to detail and delivering outstanding service. I had my car washed this morning at the Tesco mayflower branch. I’m not sure of the gentleman’s name, but he was polite and done an amazing job of cleaning my car. I was so impressed , I’ll definitely be going back. Thank you 🤩

Went there today for the first time was greeted by the manager Nick , what a gentleman 10 out of 10 and colleague Hugh … did a great job on my car. I would definitely be back again , credit to “Waves” well done.😀👍

SPAM PHONE CALL - have they been hacked. Phone says this is Hatfield. Never been there and never used a car wash.

Waves at Tesco, Saffron Walden, this is the fourth time I have been for a car wash there ! Efficient, friendly, and do a good job cleaning my little car !! Would recommend, but I don't want any more people going there as usually very busy !! Good job all of you, and thank you for your service !! Pat.

Waves Eastbourne, What a load of crap this joint is. Showing board prices - which matched their website listing - then invent there own, up to 50% more, cash only as well, due to machine breakdown. I'm a 80 year old pensioner and asked what would it cost for a wash and dry, then questioned the price given on the website. They replied that prices have gone up, yes into their own pockets. Very bad attitude from their staff. Surely breaking trading act by not displaying correct prices and robbing people left right and centre. This company should be investigated by Trading Standards. Avoid at all costs. Couldn't even get through to complain by phone.

I have been taking my car to waves, Sunbury Tesco car park for a year now. They are so polite and helpful. My car comes out looking brand new every time. Amazing service. I wouldn't go anywhere else .

Always excellent service! They hard working and professional team, my car is always cleaned by them on the highest standard.

Failed to clean roof of my car down the middle 3 weeks ago. Went a week ago, to get an in and out clean, showed them the pixtures and asked for £3 off the price £27 but they refused 3 times. Manager got involved and was just the same

This place is a con. It advertises a set of prices but does not stick to them. What they charge is a rip off - I found the car wash at Langley shopping centre infinitely better and nearly half the price. Avoid Waves

I was beyond impressed with the time and detail taken. Alan was really knowledgeable and helped me really understand the difference a good polish can make. He demonstrated what the car could look like with detailing and did not pressure me at all. A fantastic experience. Therese

I wish to make a strong complaint, regarding the abusive verbal treatment, that I received from a gentleman? claiming to be the owner of the Wave's car wash at the address above.

15 July, Appx. 10 45am. (Volvo XC40)

I parked my car, at the car wash at 10-45am. Hoping to have my car washed (basic wash) I walked over to see the price list, to check the cost, the owner started asking me what I was doing, I told him and he instantly came up with £25 pounds, indicating that I should take no notice of the price list, I explained that I just wanted a basic exterior wash, the price went up to £30.
The implication being, that, he owned the site and would charge what he wanted.
With that I got into my car, and re-parked it in a Tesco bay.
I went to Tesco Customer Services ,and mentioned the problem, I was told that they cannot deal with such matters, but gave me 'Waves', phone No. I spoke to Steve.
The person that I spoke to in Tesco's said that they also had had problems of a similar nature to mine ,from those in the car wash.
I hope to get your reaction re. the above soon ,hoping not to have to take this further.

Waves car wash at Dobbies Serpentine Green Peterborough quoted me £40 for a standard wash and clean inside. The car is a Toyota SUV 4x4 , I expect to pay more and several months ago I paid £30 at a nearby competitor.
