BAD COSTUMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE
This is a review about the bad costumer service on the phone. He didn't give me information about my order. I just wanted to know if my order was ready to pick up, and he was unable to provide me with an answer. Then he left and left waiting on the phone. I still cannot pick up my order. Very disappointed with Walgreens Store #3471, in Clearwater, Florida.
Walgreens once felt worth the premium
As of September 24, 2025, I have deliberately removed all of my positive reviews from Trustpilot. This was not because those businesses failed me, but because Trustpilot itself has proven corrupt.
They permanently censored my legitimate, fully documented review of eBay (submitted as a registered LLC seller with proof of business activity). Even after providing evidence, their “Content Integrity Team” declared the case closed, keeping my review offline while allowing companies like Rakuten to challenge or suppress critical feedback.
By leaving only my negative reviews here, I want to make clear: the imbalance is created by Trustpilot, not by me. My contributions were balanced across 1–5 stars until Trustpilot chose to silence the critical side.
This platform does not operate in good faith. I will no longer post reviews here. Instead, I will be reporting my findings to regulators and leaving reviews on platforms Trustpilot cannot manipulate.
Update: Trustpilot has begun suppressing my documented reviews, including those backed by proof of identity and purchase. This platform no longer protects transparency — it filters what companies want shown. All future updates will be published off Trustpilot so the full record cannot be buried.
Walgreens once felt worth the premium, but those days are gone. Lately I’ve had rude service, long delays, and even one night where staff just walked away after I’d been in the drive-thru line for 30 minutes — no warning they were closing soon. On top of that, the inventory and convenience that used to set Walgreens apart just aren’t there anymore. For the prices they charge, I expect far better. At this point, it’s hard to justify choosing them over competitors.
Horrible customer service
I have a medication I have to refill each month and have for a long time. Sometimes the refills aren’t accurately reflected on the app so it requires a phone call to refill. So I call when it convenient for me which is sometimes earlier then the refill allows. In turn the refill is delayed and I have to call again to make sure the delay is due to refill being to early . The app only tells you delayed and it will not be rerun when it is time for the refill. Today I spent 2 hours on the phone only to be told to call back tomorrow to refill it again. 45 min on hold only to be hung up on and the rest of the time with customer service fighting to get me to the dispensary who told me to call back tomorrow. I don’t understand why this is acceptable customer service on any level. They need more staff in the dispensary if they can’t answer a phone call.
Walgreens is the worst
If you’re wondering why Walgreens is failing, my experience today says it all.
I had a prescription called in at 11 a.m. and by 1 p.m. I called to check. After sitting on hold for 40 minutes, I was told it would be ready by 2:30. Come 4 p.m., nothing. I called again, only to be left on hold for an hour before the call was disconnected.
This level of “service” is beyond unacceptable. It’s not just inconvenient — it’s downright pathetic. Patients shouldn’t have to chase down their own medication or waste hours listening to hold music.
Walgreens has clearly forgotten what customer care even looks like, and it shows. No urgency, no accountability, no respect for people’s time. This is exactly why customers are walking away and the company is spiraling.
Save yourself the frustration — go literally anywhere else.
If I could give it zero stars
If I could give it zero stars, I would whoever knew that if you buy something at one Walgreens, you can’t return it in another if it’s not in that Wallgreens stock. Stay away and they don’t care either. I was at the one on South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, Florida…. you can fill in the blank words.
Apparent chaos in overworked pharmacy, 6 days and still waiting for med
My doctor called in my prescription last Thursday. Walgreens notified me by email that evening that there was a delay because of an insurance problem. The next day I went to the store to check on the prescription. The insurance problem (not sure what it was) had been resolved, but they discovered that the medication was out of stock. I was told it would be in on Monday and I could get the prescription then. I heard nothing on Monday, so went to the store early afternoon Tuesday and was told it had come in but they couldn't have it ready until maybe that evening before closing. Later I called to check on whether it was ready, waited on hold for an hour and 10 minutes only to be disconnected. Went again today and was told AGAIN that it had arrived on the truck but wouldn't be ready until later today. Every time I go to the store there is a long line waiting for the pharmacy, and phoning is not an option because the last call I tried was the SECOND time I was on hold for a very long time before getting disconnected. Based on my experiences and observations, the pharmacy is understaffed and overworked. Two nearby Walgreens have been closed and this one is not organized and staffed to take up the slack. I will be switching pharmacies and I certainly do not recommend using this one.
Distain and disrespect
I was treated with such distain and rudeness today, others in line stepped up for me.
After over an hour waiting for my scheduled vaccination appointment, I was forced to go through the same 10-minutes of background info I'd already submitted online hours before prior to my appt. I produced my Medicare card but was told it wasn't needed...just take a seat and wait...for another 45 minutes. Then I'm called to the window and told they needed to see the Medicare care card I never showed to them.
"Please review your security cam, and you'll see that I kept trying to show it earlier but told it wasn't needed."
"Just have a seat and wait."
Another 35 minutes.
I'll skip my strong replies, but the manager not only informed me that because I was a "public disturbance" my vaccination was cancelled, I must leave the store immediately, and he's calling the police over an "uncontrollable customer."
This from the pharmacy "Trusted since 1901"

WALGREENS?
NEVER AGAIN.
Mr. Dale - Walgreens Star Manager
I arrived at Walgreens at 4:35 to pickup business cards and when I got there, the card weren’t cut properly. I explained that I didn’t want the order if I was paying for something I didn’t receive correctly. As I proceeded to leave the store, I turned back around to ask if they could maybe print the business cards for me and I’ll cut them at home. So two of the reps did just that. After standing in the store for about an 25m.Mr Dale, the manager who cut the cards asked, how can I help. I told him I was having the cards printed again since the first batch didn’t come out right and I’ll just cut them at home. He got frustrated with me telling him this and walked away. After another 25m, I noticed the machine kept stopping and I asked the Manager Mr.Dale if the cards were ready. He said he didn’t know since he wasn’t the one helping me and I needed to ask the person who was helping me since he had already printed off “700 cards” he stated wasn’t helping me anymore since I just wasted his time. I then turn to the young rep and asked are the cards ready? Mr Dale continued to talk at me as I ignored him and worked with the employee who did have a “I can help you” attitude. He said the printer kept stopping so it still had a few more cards to go. Mr Dale the manager then proceeded to reprimand his employee and tell him not to do that ssss again. The young employee stated, “ it wasn’t me”. I continue to sit at the register and by this time, it was 6:05. I then asked the young employee again…”brother are they ready” Mr Dale then proceeded to jump in and say I messed up there printer and I’m “a photographer anyway, why would I be ordering cards from Walgreens.” I ignored him and addressed the young red head employee and stated I’ll just buy those because I only order 200business cards in one order, and 120 in the other. Mr Dale told the young employee we’re not selling those to him because y'all (they) weren’t suppose to print them off this way anyway and begin to get irate. I proceeded to tell the young employee I only order 200 cards but he had a stack in his hand as big as a text book. I asked him how many did he have since there should’ve only been 25 sheets of paper. (each sheet printed 8 cards) Mr. Dale then said, “it don’t matter you’re not getting them, get out.” I continued to talk to the young red head employee who wanted to help, but at this point Mr. Dale made it a point to set a example and told me to get out or I’m calling Sandy Springs. I asked for him to call them. As I was looking at him, his eyes were wide and he was shaking. I asked him if he was ok because he was shaking and he stated I was provoking him. I asked him, provoking you to do what, with my eyes now wide. I’ve been shopping at Walgreens for years and have never experience such disrespect and rudeness. He did call the police and gave them my tag number as he taunted me on my way out the store. I recorded the whole incident on my glasses and will be sending it to management as high as I can go because it’s obvious that people like Mr. Dale aren’t a good representation of the company.

Feedback on Phone Support Experience
I’m writing to express my frustration with a recent experience I had while trying to resolve a pharmacy-related issue over the phone.
Today, I attempted to contact your support line and was required to navigate through more than ten automated prompts before reaching a live representative. Once connected, I was asked to repeat and spell my name multiple times, followed by another round of questions. After this lengthy process, I was finally transferred to the local pharmacy, which was able to assist me.
While I appreciate the help I eventually received, the amount of time and effort it took to get there was excessive and disruptive to my day. I hope you’ll consider streamlining your phone system and training agents to handle calls more efficiently.
The worst pharmacy
The worst pharmacy. I’ve waited a week to fill a very basic prescription. Every day I log into the app it states it will be delivered the next day. I paid for same day delivery, and when it finally goes out for delivery it says it will be delivered two days later. I’m done with Walgreens. I’ll be going to a different pharmacy, even if it’s further away.
Denise from the Brooklyn Bensonhurst…
Denise from the Brooklyn Bensonhurst location provided me with exceptional customer service. She was extremely friendly, patient and provided me with helpful information. I will definitely return to shop at this location.
I’ve had repeated issues with this…
I’ve had repeated issues with this Walgreens pharmacy spontaneously closing without notice, even after confirming with staff that my prescription would be ready. Most recently, I spoke directly with the pharmacist who assured me my medication was available and he was filling my prescription right then. When I arrived a short time later the same day, the pharmacy was closed with just a note on the sign.
This isn’t the first time this has happened, and it’s incredibly frustrating—especially when you're dealing with time-sensitive medications. I spent hours calling other pharmacies, none of which had my prescription in stock.
To make matters worse, I called another Walgreens location and spoke with a pharmacist who confirmed they had my medication in stock. I had my doctor send over a new prescription, only to be told when I drove over later that same day that they did not have it in stock after all. Now I have to track down my busy doctor again and have him send ANOTHER prescription to the Midvale Walgreens and hope they are actually open and I can pick up my past do prescription.
Walgreens needs to seriously improve its communication, reliability, and accountability. Patients deserve better than this!
Walgreen The worst customer service I ever…
The worst customer service I ever experienced it at Walgreen on Redd Road and resler in El Paso Texas. Oh my God how can they get away with this rudeness?
Manager at Calhoun Village
Manager at Calhoun Village, MPLS store falsely accused me of stealing after I paid with my Walgreens account and credit card. Police pulled me over because of her baseless claim. Humiliating, insulting, and completely unacceptable. When I contacted the manager for an explanation she was dismissive and rude - the only reason she could give was that I was "acting weird". Apparently shopping is 'weird' at Walgreens. The police were more apologetic than the manager. I will never step foot into another Walgreens again.
Local pharmacy employs rudest people
Visited my local pharmacy to see why my new prescription hadn’t been touched or worked on in 3 days. The staff was so rude. The gal at the register was so condescending to all the people ahead of me. When I got up there, I asked why there was a delay. The same girl rolled her eyes at me before asking for identifying info to check. She said she couldn’t help right now because the pharmacist was in a meeting and she wasn’t filling prescriptions. I asked what time I could come back. She said she wasn’t even sure they had it to even fill it so I asked how I could verify that. She said “I guess I could go check” then just stood there. I said that would be great if you went to check. She got a big attitude, sighed and walked away. When she came back she said they didn’t have it which I would have known 3 days earlier if they had bothered to even work on it. I asked her to speak to a manager or supervisor. The pharmacist came over and that lady is the literal devil. She screamed at me, causing shoppers in the store to literally stop and stare, and told me if I didn’t like the way they ran things, I could move my prescriptions elsewhere. I asked for the corporate number, told her she was insanely rude and unprofessional and walked away. I called the 800 number where a disinterested person took my complaint and dead end. Not even an outreach via email. I transferred all my prescriptions elsewhere, along with all the prescriptions for my kids. It’s no wonder your stores are shutting down
They are constantly out of my medicine…
They are constantly out of my medicine every month. Unacceptable. Finally found a pharmacy that is never out. Good riddance Walgreens
My doctor made a mistake and sent my…
My doctor made a mistake and sent my prescription to Walgreens and I do not do business with them BECAUSE THEY'RE IGNORANT.
I called CVS to ask for any prescription that can be transferred to be transferred to CVS.
CVS suck too because when you call them you have to leave a message and wait. And after requesting for the prescription to be transferred he never called back to let me know if it was done or not.
So I called Walgreens at 1445 W. Craig road in North Las Vegas, NV and after the long wait time someone answered around 740 PM on 08/20/2025 a lady answered. I asked if CVS contacted them and requested for a transfer. She verified my account.
She said, did you ask them to do it?
I said yes so did they call.
She said, when did you ask them to call,
I said yesterday, did they call.
She said what would be the time they would have called.
I SAID DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID THEEEEEY CALLLLLLL?
She said, what was it that they would have had transferred.
I SAID YOU HAD ONE EASY QUESTION!
That you have made very difficult.
She said, what's that?
I SAID, DID THEY CALLLLLL!!!!!! And then she said, they only called and transferred ******.
SO THEY DID ***************** CALL.
I can't deal with people and the ignorance anymore.
I am not going to deal with it at all.
I have filed a complaint and now I will file a complaint with BBB.
When I asked if she were the pharmacist, she put me on hold and back in queue.
This means NO!
The pharmacist wouldn't be THIS IGNORANT.
I was basically disconnected at 7:46 pm since no one came back to the phone. She put me in queue so the phone could start ringing again.
I didn't wait. I disconnected and called Customer Service and gave my store feedback.
NO PATIENT should ever get the RUNAROUND when they call.
That PUSHBACK was unnecessary and a waste of my time.
Just so she could eventually say, yes!
COULDN'T SHE HAVE SAID THAT IN THE BEGINNING? This is what I CALL IGNORANCE.
This is Exactly WHY I CANNOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS EXTREMELY MESSY COMPANY WHO HIRES SMOKERS INSTEAD OF PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIANS.

to me
I’m extremely upset and disappointed with the pharmacy at this location. This is the second time I’ve driven an hour to pick up my medication, only to find the pharmacy closed with no pharmacist on duty — despite receiving a message that it was ready for pickup.
There was no notification, no signage, and no courtesy update. This is unacceptable, especially when people rely on timely access to their prescriptions.
I’m transferring my medication to my local CVS and will be sharing my experience with others. The lack of reliability and communication at this pharmacy is unprofessional and harmful.
Just had a horrible experience at…
Just had a horrible experience at Walgreens. Got a notification 10 minutes before my son’s EpiPen was supposed to be ready. It would not be ready and I do not know when it would be ready. I called and asked how this happened and for them to take some responsibility and recourse. The pharmacist who Walgreens refuses to tell me who they are refused to fill my son’s EpiPen, and also started pretending like I was saying horrible things on the other end of the phone to her. I went to speak to the manager, Paul about her behavior, and Paul is not even the manager. He would not tell me who the pharmacist is and when I tried to take a picture of his name tag so that I could have his information he forced me out of the store. Walgreens corporate is taking care of it and has let me know what her name is it is Malwina Sarnas.
