Greedy, negligent company. Find another brand

I bought a new wacom tablet (intuos smal) to go with my new mac studio 4 years ago. I am pretty lax on updating operating systems but I did so yesterday as I was worried about security and I updated to tahoe only to find out that my tablet stopped working. I didn't worry I just thought I needed to go and get the new driver from their website only to find out that they actually do not support this anymore. I would have to go back several versions of my operating system to keep it working. Which makes no sense security wise. This means that they only support perfectly good hardware for a few years and then it's basically on landfill. I'm absolutely disgusted and appalled with this company. Yes the tablet has worked well over the time I've had it but I am shocked really that I'm only getting four years use out of it before it's good for nothing. If I had updated more regularly as well I would've had even less time with it. I'm absolutely appalled with this company. I'm going to be looking for another manufacturer of tablets instead. This is just corporate greed greed greed. wacom make their profit but everyone else is out-of-pocket including the environment.

Severely Disappointing

Would genuinely give 0 stars if I could. Spoken to customer support on numerous occasions about an extremely simple issue to solve. Was promised a discount code when the GB site was running, took about two weeks for a response to be told that I wasn't going to be given one because the 'site is still under construction'. I recieved that email as I was staring at the site, fully functioning and ready to recieve payments.

After about 3 more attempts to get in contact, was finally given some sort of hope by a live chat agent, and told my complaint will be raised and responded to within 24-48 hours. It's now been over a week and only just found out the discount was just 10%, and I wasn't even allowed to put it on my order because the tablet I wanted to buy was excluded from the offer. Thanks.

Customer service is a genuine joke, there's ZERO attempt at customer retention, and even a 10% discount is apparently too steep for a company that has the biggest monopoly in the digital art sector. Despite that, the company STILL wants to shill you for every penny when your £710 tablet requires a £70 converter because they're too greedy to invest in the leftover copper to include an extra cable for USB.

So disappointed in this company. Had been with them for years, and as a kid in 2012 my first ever tablet was a white Bamboo Fun. I still have it because it meant that much to me in kickstarting my future career as an artist, now it's just a reminder of how far Wacom has let me and others down. Do you remember that fiasco where they used AI GENERATED ART to advertise? Lol.

Their tablets are of good quality, I'll give them that. This one singular star goes towards whoever puts them together and ships them out. Wacom and their customer service gets the fat 0.

If you purchase any of their tablets without some sort of discount, just pray you don't need to contact support during its lifetime. I'm looking for a friendlier company the moment my Wacom tablet is on its way out. I'm not going through this hassle again.

This review is likely just another small drop in the ocean, but if Wacom pulls through with a satisfactory response, I'll update you further.

Fun fact, their 'new and improved' website is still buggy, with a lot of typos.

Sincerely, a broke post-grad art student.

Bought a cintiq 24 and the fan noise is so annoying I want to now get rid of it. For such an expensive piece of equipment I'm pretty disappointed. Regret buying it. I contacted their support, but the warranty is over, so I cannot get any of that covered. I've always been very gentle and careful with the device.

Dont buy refurbished from Wacom

I bought a refurbished MobileStudioPro 13 and at some point the Eraser wasn't visible for me. It dissapaeared under the pen, so I couldn't use it properly. When telling this support, they just tried to tell me its normal and even after telling them that it dosent happen to my Cintiq16, they still are trying to convince me of otherwise.
I seriously don't think such an expensive tablett should work like this and if they do then I don't recommend any MobileStudioPro tabletts
If you buy refurbished then try to see for any problems in the first month. Otherwise they will not repair anything or you wont get your money back.

Great company but beware if living in UK

Wacom did it's part impeccably, sent the goods in very good and almost entirely recyclable packaging where I live. Well done for that.

My item was delivered by UPS, and I have no problems with them, although my delivery took 15 days when normally it would be less than a week.

The problem is all the red tape and long delays brought about by all the blinded people that voted for Brexit ( Yes you guessed it I live in the laughing stock called United Kingdom) we are a divided country of European and Separative UK people and this is why my heading was so dramatic, so you have been warned, if you're in a hurry do not buy from Wacom Europe, I would as they have never done any wrong towards me.

I had a reasonable good experience with Wacom EU. I was buying a refurbished Wacom Pro tablet from them. It was delivered in a reasonable timeframe from Germany, even though UPS managed to miss the flight delaying arrival by a day. My main problem was with their website which quite clunky to use and had parts that didn't work properly.

Avoid Wacom!!! Terrible customer service.

Absolutely horrendous experience with Wacom. Ordered a tablet in January with free delivery. Due to Brexit was asked to pay an extra £65 for delivery after it arrived in the UK. I asked for it to be sent back. Almost 4 months later, I am still waiting for a refund and have been bouncing back between UPS and Wacom in this time. The device has been back in Germany where Wacom is based for almost two months and despite weekly emails which are mostly ignored, I still do not have my refund. I bought a Wacom tablet in Curry’s but wish I hadn’t given them any more of my money now!

I had serious problems with the Cintiq 27QHD Touch…

I had serious problems with the Cintiq 27QHD Touch and I've been trying to fix my problems through emails with them. They can help through emails, but I recommend you to call them by phone as their Costumer Service knows about technical problems and they can give you straight information and keep you confident about the work they are doing.
a woman named Roberta attended my calls and she knew everything I needed to know about the Cintiqs productions and about every single process on how these monitors are builded. She helped me so much and I love Wacom again.
My problem was related to a noise coming from the monitor and she knew why it was happening and told me how she will fix it and that is better if I wait for my monitor to be fixed, as a new fixed monitor is better than receiving a refurbished one that we don't know if its been treated with the same care as I did to mine.
Thanks Roberta. You treated me as a human, not like the re-seller company did to me.

Wacom sells their drawing tables with various software bundles. But i can't download mine due to their defective website:
Account creation took several days to work and product registration is not working at all.

As a result i can't download the bundled software (which is not free but part of the value proposition and product pricing strategy)

I've written to customer support on the website and on their facebook page, but so far i've gotten no response.
My most recent attempt to submit a support request ended with a 500 error (fatal server error) and noting was submitted to Wacom.

This way of running a company has no place in the 21st century.

Wacom customer support and product strategy is a joke.

delivery problems

I ordered a new digital pen for my daughters tablet. After 3 weeks I still hadn't recieved the pen from Wacom, and I contacted their costumerservice.
The person I'm in contact with here is very kind, but it has now been another 3 weeks, and I still don't have the pen. Wacom has made a withdrawal of the cost of the pen from my bankaccount one month ago, and they say, that UPS has delivered the pen in the mailbox. - It just wasn't my mailbox.
I find it very dissatisfying, that I still dont have the pen I payed for.
