This is the worst Wifi connection ever
This is the worst Wifi connection ever!! I have been traveling all around the world and I never experienced such a bad wifi.
It says that the wifi is 600mbps but they don't say that it is ONLY when you use the internet cable.
I work from home and I cannot take call with my clients because the wifi is so bad. I have to connect from my 4G to my computer. DONT TAKE VODAFONE SPAIN IT IS REALLY REALLY BAD WIFI !!!!! I will pay 150€ to break the contract and get another provider. SHAME!!!!
Vodafone is basically a robbery…
Vodafone is basically a robbery company. I've had a contract with them for one year without bigger issues, when I needed to add a SIM card that's when the problems started (this was June). The guy in the store told us that if we change a contract for my girlfriends name, we can create a new contract with better offer, so that's what we did. The contract says 43e (internet + SIM), however I paid that amount only once, each month the payments started increasing, 50e, 60e, 70e. Additionally, and this is the biggest joke, I found out end of September that they are actually taking money also for the previous contract.
So we went to another Vodafone store, and the new guy said that additional payments are for some line Red SIM card, which we never booked neither activated. Furthermore, they told us that our previous contract is not completely terminated because the guy from Vodafone didn't take the router when he was changing from old to new one, and that we were supposed to bring it, and that's why they were still charging us for previous contract, where we lost almost 100e, because Vodafone made a mistake. So we opened a claim, and we didn't have a response for 3 months!
So we went again, and another guy told us completely different story, that suddenly we are paying some Sports TV channel, and some SecureNet package, which we never ever heard about, but it was magically activated in September.
Yesterday, we went to the original Vodafone store to find out what is happening. The guy finally managed to deactivate (after 4 months!!) the random packages they "accidentally" activated, and agreed to refund the extra amount they were charging us for several months (around 72e). However, they told us that we can forget about the 100e for charging us extra for the old contract, the worker said that Vodafone made a mistake, but he cannot do anything with it anyway! So basically they are totally okey charging two internet contracts for exactly same address. Additionally when we were making the contract, I specifically asked him if we can change the name in contract back (we had to change it due to this "special deal"), he said that of course after 3 months we can change it without issues, and now when we went there, he said that yes of course, but we have to pay 180e for that! The workers there are telling you lies just to sell you things. Customer service is terrible, it takes them months to investigate why are they charging you extra, and each store worker says something else, total joke.
I think 96% of bad reviews says it all!!!!
I think 96% of bad reviews says it all! Do not use Vodafone Spain!
I have been with them for over 12 years (unfortunately out of necessity) and every year when it´s time to renew, I have the same issues. Getting endless calls from different departments where noone knows what the other person has said until I mention it and they "check the system". One person lying more than the next one. (my wife works for Vodafone UK so she tells me what´s supposed to happen)
My latest experience below in reverse chronological order:
René 16.01.23
Sandra calls me today, she offers me a contract revision for €27 p/m. I tell her that I already have a revised contract and a review done. She tells me that she can only do for 24 months. I tell her that it is not what was agreed on on the recording. She tells me that I have to call 22122 that she can't help me.
René Jan 12 at 2:39 PM
I call VF I talk to Hernán,
he tells me that she has contacted the person and that she is going to contact me again
René Jan 11 at 5:12 PM
I receive a contract with contract length of 24 months. I call Vodafone, I speak to Juan, he tells me not to sign the document and that he is going to make a note on the system that they call me from the loyalty department.
René Jan 9 at 2:50 PM
Maria calls me today 9.1.23
She offers me a 12-month contract at a cost of €14.11 per month including VAT as a loyalty offer.
We made a recording and she tells me that everything is ready.
René Jan 6 at 3:43 PM
Fermin calls me again and says the minimum is now €35 p/m
René Jan 6 at 3:43 PM
I spoke to Jenny. She tells me €12/month for 12 months and that they are going to contact me to activate.
René Jan 6 at 3:42 PM
Fermin calls, says the least he can offer me is €27/month. I decline as currently paying 12.80€
René Dec 19, 2022 at 5:02 PM
I spoke to Miriam today 19.12.22 She told me that Vodafone will contact me to offer me a discount
Vodafone's service in Spain
Vodafone's service in Spain, when it comes to WIFI with the modem in the house, is really really bad! We LOST wifi at least 2-3 per week! We had to turn OFF/ON the modem but lost the connection. Not helpful while working from home using different tools. Also, when watching a good movie at night...all of sudden you have no connection! Trying to resolve this through ENDLESS calls and emails, but after 5/6 months I canceled my account!! Phone connection and calls were OK, but the wifi was the worst I ever had anywhere. We changed to SIMYO and for the last several months I have had much FASTER upload and download and I have never turned off/on the modem. Another PLUS is it is around 10€ per month cheaper than Vodafone!!! Hurra.
Worst Customer Service…
Worst Customer Service I stumbled upon. They do what they please. Every time you call to open an incident they will tell you they do it but they don’t. Most of the time they hung up on you. Disrespectful and you will never find a solution. Do not buy anything from them.
The service is fine, the customer support is just the worst in industry.
Lies, lies and more lies.
When I started the service back in May they promised low price, no commitment (sin permanencia), free change of address service for my home Internet. When time came to change the address I found that they increased my package price over 40% and put me in 2- year (!) contract, if I sign it. Well, obviously, I decided to go with a different company and here it is - suddenly I have commitment with my service and have to pay them a penalty to get out! I told them that I didn’t care and would not stay with them no matter what.
Do you think they tried to make things right? Nope, I received over 10 calls and about the same number of messages letting me know about the penalty they would charge me and telling me to stop the transfer to avoid it. Disgusting!
Vodafone is the worst company in the…
Vodafone is the worst company in the whole universe. They are only after of your money.
a total disaster of customer service
a total disaster of customer service. trying to give back products which i had never ordered. called 8 times for getting the "codigo de devolution " no success so far. they never send the code, means i cannot give back the products i NEVER ordered.
I assume this a strategy for charging products i cannot return after a certain amount of time. we speak about 300Euros! ....that goes way further than being unprofessional
Terrible customer service experience
Terrible customer service experience. Their website platform doesn't work. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone that can help you solve a problem. They make no accommodations to try to help you out. I would not recommend them.

Gang of thieves
I had a pre-paid phone with Vodafone for many years. As is always the case and despite me not using it much, I intermittently had to put €5 credit on the phone to keep the number. Eventually this had built up to around €45. We decided to transfer our land line and internet to Vodafone when they had a reasonable deal and were reasonably happy for a while. Then we transferred the land line and internet to O2 for a better deal but left the pre-paid with Vodafone. Surprise, surprise when everything had been finalised with O2 my €45 credit had completely disappeared and nobody at Vodafone could tell me where it had gone or why. So, in conclusion, Vodafone is nothing more than a bunch of legalised crooks who insist on ringing me every 5 minutes because I’ve now changed my pre-paid to O2.
They canceled my wifi appointment 3 times and blamed me
I signed a contract with them to install wifi and they managed to cancel the appointment 3 times. Each time they told me that I canceled the appointment ??? I have one booked for today, just called them and they said that they don't know if the technician will come today because the technician needs to confirm the appointment with me even tho when i called them last week they said the appointment was confirmed. Do not use them !
Avoid this company it’s a big company who don’t care about costumers at all
They don’t deserve any star , this is a horrible company you can’t talk with them I try to talk in chat and single option in English I have ,,, maybe later ,,, I don’t understand why they sell subscription anonments and prepaid SIM card to foreigners if only language it’s Spanish on them app … we live in a multicultural world .. of course it’s them interest to keep in Spanish so in this case foreigners will just be catch in this to spend more money , they make fun of costumers and even if I have a prepaid SIM card they act like I have a subscription and try to take my money without permission , what it’s wrong with this company ?? If I need a abonament I make one don’t act for a prepaid SIM card like it’s a abonament Subscription and I have to pay every month , also if you charge in them account more money they will use first the money 1 euro for 200 mb internet and just after they will enter in your subscription where you have 50Gb internet , so i don’t understand why this trash company ask me money and try to take out from my bank account if we don’t have a contract ????
WORST COMPANY to work with!
WORST COMPANY to work with!
1. They came and installed my WiFi but they did not install my tv box. Then when I called them to asked them about my tv box, they said that they’ve installed and that I have the TV box, which I don’t. (Which I paid for half a year whiteout having that service).
2. They told me in the beginning that I’ll pay 49.99 euros/month, then in July that charged me 130 euros and for August 117 euros without any notice.
3. It’s been 3 weeks now, talking with their customer service, nothing is happing. We are paying more then we were supposed to, not having all the services.
Good way to lose customers. Good job Vodafone! I’ll never work with you guys, I’ll never recommend you from now on!
Absolutely horrible!!!
Absolutely horrible. This company is a joke.
I moved over two months ago - My original services weren't available in my new place so I changed (downgrading) and took what they had to offer.
Since then I have been charged multiple times per month, strange amounts adding up to almost double the amount I was quoted when contracting the service.
They told me the problem with the bills was due to an extra mobile line (that I never asked for) being open and that I should condense my account by using the second line sim and changing the number to my original one. 24-48hours with a provisional number and everything should be perfect. I said thank you and accepted the solution.
1 month later - still using the provisional number (which is a huge problem, all my personal accounts and identification documents are linked to my original number). Everytime I call I get a new story, a different solution or simple cut off. Nobody is responding from their social media accounts. Emails are being ignored.
I so noticed on my app that there are multiple addresses on my account and none of them are my current address. When I ask them to change this - I mean, it's a simple request - NOTHING. It's still incorrect.
I'm going to give them until the end of the month and then I'm going to start legal proceedings, I really don't want to - it's way too much stress to add to my life - but I don't see any other option. I can't keep paying multiple times a month for a regular to bad service and I NEED to recuperate my original number.
**I'm writing this to warn people, the deals are NOT worth it, the service is truly appalling and I would tell even my worst enemy to avoid them like the plague. Unfortunately, my area is remote so I don't have that chance, yet! **
I phone to the client service because…
I phone to the client service because we do not get any bill's from Vodafone! And I phone before in 2021 and just had 1 time a factuur! And I also asked the guy how I get Hotmail on my Mobil,(and they also took photo's when we bought a new Mobil phone,in San Pedro the Alcantara.)So we tryed and because I am not English or .. he did not know what I meant the they or he started to laugh about it,I think this is very rude to the custemer,I told him so .And stopped the call, and nothing is solve yet!!
I was also yesterday in the Vodafone shop,in San Pedro and asked the guy to helped me,he asked for 15,00 euro's I said is this new and show me the papers about thisall ,but he did not and said nothing to me ,just looking so I left the shop. And this is really strange, you buy a mobil they mash things up ,and when you come for any help, this is it. Client Service do they know what this means!!!?
Minus a Million Stars plus
Its a shame they don't do minus stars as minus a million would not be strong enough. Vodafone failed to provide the service we signed up for, wouldn't provide a refund and then penalised me when I cancelled the direct debit resulting in me having to pay a charge of 32.06 euros otherwise they would refer the debt and it would continue to increase. This despite the fact they were advised to cancel the contract in February, failed to do so for 3 months before I noticed they were still debiting my account every month. Their excuse was that by transferring to another provider, it did not cancel the contract! They then proceeded to completely ignore 1 recorded delivery letter and 3 emails for almost another 3 months, then threaten debt action. They are bullies and crooks. Do NOT do business with this company.
Lebara
Hi, I am a UK Vodafone customer of over 20 years. I live in Spain so to save on my data useage I decided to buy a Lebara Sim Card. I know that in UK also Lebara has an agreement with Vodafone Spain to use their network. My gripe is that this company Lebara is ripping people off. I have had issues with them recently regarding my Sim card and their app. I have provided all the information they asked for, more than once. Nothing gets done. I then emailed them again and their response was to ask for the same information again, then silence. It is as if their system in activated by certain words or phrases which prompts an automated reply. You reply then nothing. Surely a reputable company such as Vodafone being associated by these unprofessional mobile providers must be able to the some action against them. It is in my opinion giving Vodafone a bad press.. Could you please advise if you can do anything to sort this company out. If you have contact details for the mobile phone regulator in the EU I can maybe contact them.
DATA ROAMING ISSUES, NO HELP FROM VODAFONE SPAIN
I am currently residing in 35639, Las Palmas.
I have a UK Vodafone business contract and I have been using data roaming for the last year and half with quite a few issues in the time we have been here.
This is a business line and an integral part of how I earn money.
Since 27 the July 2022 we have been unable to make or receive phone calls or download emails, and use the internet and apps in general.
I contacted Vodafone Spain on Facebook messenger for assistance they took days to reply and when they did I was told they are unable to help as we are not part of the same company.
I contacted again to see if they could a least advise me of what the problem is.
Again took days to get any reposnse and was told that an antenna was down within that postal code and this will be fixed within a few days.
A week later and still nothing has been fixed, I am trying to run a business and use my phone to make and receive calls, I would say that each day that goes by I am losing £200-£300 in work which is not on.
Now I am being ignored on the messenger and I only received a reply about an update when I went public and complained on their facebook page.
This is the response I now received...

They are a dusgusting company to use and not willing to help and dont care, they cannot even tell us when this will be resolved, its just not on.
